Why is it that if your a 17 year old P-Plater Kills someone on the roads, they are trialed as a Child in the courts and get off with a slap on the wrist.
If your responsible enough to drive a car, your old enough to be an adult.
We need to change this law ASAP. Nearly everyday P-Platers are getting off serious offences with a slap on the wrist.
Help Change the laws and hopefully 17 year old P-Platers will learn a lesson and drive more sensibly.

We, the undersigned, call on the WA Government to change the laws under the Road Traffic Act so all serious offences that are committed under this act are dealt with in the same manner, regardless of age. Eg. 17 year old drivers are trialed and charged in a normal court, NOT the children's court.
