Ban puppy mills in the UK

Puppy mills are disgraceful and cruel places that only exist to pump out puppies for profit. the people don't care or love the animals they breed from. they spent their whole lives in small dirt cages, with little or no medical care. only given enough food to live and continue breeding.

They are bred intensively all year round. they often have health and genetic problems, yet the people continue to breed them and pass on these problems because they don't care about the health of the puppies their breeding or the families that buy them.

their are so many animals in shelters and rescue centres that find it extremely difficult to find homes because of over pet population and puppy mills are adding to the over pet population.

these places need to be illegal to protect the dogs from the abuse and neglect they suffer at these places. and also to protect the innocent family's that buy a pup only to be left with an animal that has major medical problems.
