I will be starting to receive my pension in November. I resent the fact that I am referred to as an old aged pensioner. I am neither old, nor do I look or feel old.
We are not allowed to call Native people Indians or East Indians Paki's because this is not politically correct, so I my goal is to make a change and to be respected.
I have been taking a verbal survey myself this past year and I know that all the people I have spoken to, agree there needs to be a change. I sent a letter to the government website with a complaint and never received an answer, so I have started this petition in the hopes the it will get the ball rolling... come on people..stand up for your rights... we are MATURE CITIZENS!!!
We, the undersigned, call on the Canadian Government to stop calling us OLD AGED PENSIONERS and change the name of our monthly income to MATURE CITIZENS' BENEFITS.
