The previous rules at Clackamas High School regarding cell phones was "no cell phones in class." The newest rule is "no cell phones on campus" which means during our lunch breaks, or in the parking lot, a student is not allowed to have phones out or it is taken from us and only our parents are allowed to pick them up, which is inconvenient for parents and unfair to students.

Lunch is our "break away from school" and now we just walk into school knowing we have pretty much no rights.

We are asking students and parents to sign this petition stating it is unfair to enforce a school rule (not a district rule) stating we cannot have cell phones on campus.

We are signing to go back to the previous rule of "no cell phones in class." There for we would like to be allowed to have phones out during breaks between class and lunch.
