As voting members of the Philadelphia Folk Song Society, we are concerned about the future of the Philadelphia Folk Festival, as well as the future of the society in general.
We are distressed by poor response and decisions of the Festival Management Team during festival when situations arose that demanded strong and savvy leadership. This affected regular paying customers, as well as volunteers. Changes were dictated shortly before festival without input from affected committees. These changes disrupted the staffing structures and caused serious damage to the morale of the volunteers.
