Baba Jaswant Singh Dental college, Hospital & Research Institute, Ludhiana are working as a dental college since 1998. The college is required to have General Hospital of not less than 100 beds as stipulated by Govt of India's Notification No 71 dated 12.1.2006 (Part III, Section 4) within 5 years of its inception. The college has not got any hospital even after 11 years.
The Dental Council of India, New Delhi is conniving with the college to function without proper facilities and encouraging Dental Shops. The Dental Council of India is not performing its duties properly.
We the undersigned, call upon the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt of India New Delhi to derecognise Baba Jaswant Singh Dental College, Hospital and Research Institute, Ludhiana immediately.
