On April fourth 2009 Keith Olbermann's mother died. He decided to take a break from making his show to mourn of his mother's passing. When he returned he found out a sleazy gossip website turned his mother's passing into a gossip item online. This spread all over the net.

We ask that Cityfile the one who made the website apologize to Keith Olbermann and also to retracted the articles relating to the passing of his mother. Also we ask that other website that made reference to the event like Wonkette, Gawker, and a “Boston Globe” blog to do the same.
