Need a new petition. This one is too shoddy.
Whittlesea Station in Whittlesey Needs redevelopment. The station is a basic contrete and brick platform only big enough for 1 or 2 Carrages. There are no facilities at the station and it is not on a bus route. The town is only served with buses to Peterborough, Chatteris, Benwick, Ramsey and March. It is on the main Peterborough to Ely Line. Wisbech (if it is to have a new station0 is on a branch line to the PBO - Ely Line.
The buses from wisbech serve over 20 Destinations regularly and It is on the A47 to atleast 4 Major UK Cities. The proposal by Association of Train Operating Companies they will recieve an Hourly Train service to Peterborough. The trains to and from Whittlesey only stop on average once every 2 hours.
