One day before the presidential election in Iran, the text messaging services were blocked, the reformist web sites were filtered and military forces were moved into the streets. This was the start of the coup d’état against the people.
People protested the fake results with peaceful demonstrations which turned violent when the police attacked them.
The people of Iran request urgent and firm action towards the totalitarian coup regime in Iran. Please ask all your ambassadors to leave Tehran and at least warn all the Iranian ambassadors in your countries until:
1. The police, secrete police (as seen in the photo) and government militia has stopped beating and killing people.
2. People have the right to demonstrate peacefully.
3. The filtered reformist website and media is unfiltered.
4. All the prisoners of the recent protests are released.
5. The votes are recounted until all the candidates are satisfied or a new election under the supervision of the international authorities is held.
Many have been reported shot or beaten to death. Many people have been wounded and the governmental forces have even been attacking hospitals and taken away wounded people to undisclosed locations.
We Iranian people request very quick, firm and unilateral international action. These days will go into history. We hope our children will read in their history books that you stood by our side.
