RG&E has been estimating the payments that the citizens of Rochester, NY have been making for electricity. The amounts that this company is estimating are much too high for monthly payments. Anywhere from 400-2000 dollars per month. This company has been taking resident's money as they choose to.
This company has also developed miscellaneous charges that have nothing to do with monthly payments. Very many people have had problems about monthly payments with RG&E. The people that have been sent to our homes to check the electric meter have been overestimating or underestimating payments.
RG&E is giving vast estimates that no Citizen of Rochester can possibly use that much electricity in one month.The people of Rochester as a community are extremely furious with this company and many want to put an end to their overestimations and unexplainable charges. RG&E also has a very poor customer service.
Many residents in the area have not even been told why the bills they are receiving have such high or low payments because the customer service at this company once again has no explanation for these charges.
We, the undersigned, are not happy with the service that the RG&E electric company is providing us And we call on RG&E to reimburse the money that this company has overcharged these individuals in the Monroe County Area of New York.
If this money is Reimbursed, we agree to continue paying monthly payments under the circumstances that these charges are reasonable and not estimated on a monthly basis.
If an individual is not able to continue paying their monthly bill from RG&E then they must be notified within seven days that their power will be disconnected.
