The treatment of Ms Heywood is indicative of the uncaring, unprofessional attitude of many nurses currently in the NHS. I speak as a recent patient and visitor to 3 hospitals around the country.
Do you believe that the majority of NHS nurses and support staff do not care about their customers (patients)? After a recent stay in hospital I have secured enough medication to put myself to sleep rather than be treated as a liability again.
Do you believe it should be easier to complain and ensure disciplinary action against bad nurses who treat patients as cattle in even well funded hospitals?
