1. Support Speed bump's on Winchester Street
I've created this petition because I was nearly ran over on Winchester Street and have witnessed so many times the dangerous driving and just seen the road being used as a race course.
There have been numerous incidents on the road and it's not long until there is a serious incident. So I need as many people as possible to sign my petition and support me!
2. For a Scandinavian Supernatural convention
- We are a fantastic bunch of fans ready to show our love and support on the next level, that is at a convention. Also we'd love to meet fellow fans!
- Together we do a lot to promote the show; including making fanvids, creating online groups, writing fanfiction, talking about it irl, blogging etc.
- We haven't been to any SPN-convention as they've been located too far away.
- We would simply love to meet Jensen, Jared, Misha, Jim, Chad and other cast members (!)
- We are very persistent but in the end it's really about our shared love for the show itself.
3. Bring back Dr. Badass (aka Ash)
Ash was apparently killed off in the Supernatural Season 2 finale, but we don't think it's that simple. here are the reason why we believe Ash isn't really dead and, as such, should be brought back to the show:
1) We didn't see Ash's body. We only saw an arm with Ash's watch on it. There is nothing to say he didn't lose/lend his watch to someone else.
2) Ash is a genius. What kind of genius would he be if he couldn't manage to get himself out of a burning building?
3) Dr. Badass is invincible through sheer awesomeness.
Most sane people agree that things have to change if we are to avoid the excesses of climate change - this includes starting to create buildings that use energy more efficiently and are able to supply energy through on-site renewable technologies.
That’s why we need your support right now. Winchester City Council is currently consulting upon the rules under which it will permit new buildings to be built (the Local Development Framework) in the future. Winchester Friends of the Earth believe that the Council should only allow developments of over 500m squared if they include on-site renewable energy equipment to reduce predicted carbon dioxide emissions by at least 10 percent. This kind of rule is not radical and is actually advised by Government and already adopted by many other local authorities.
We also think that the current proposals for the major Silverhill development in the centre of Winchester should follow this principle. At the current time it offers very little in terms of reducing energy use and nothing in terms of renewable energy generation. This is a missed opportunity.
Please sign the Cut the Carbon petition. We will ensure the Council takes note and hopefully delivers a greener future for the District. Many thanks.
