2. Help Save Extracurriculars at Cherry Hill District Schools
Governor Christie by taking away our surplus to try to curtail the state deficit of $9 Billion is causing our district to make severe cuts. Elementary Schools possibly will have to cut their programs such as TAG, Instrumental Music, and an increase of class sizes.
Middle Schools will have to cut as well programs such as Advisory, the changing of Athletics to Intramural, as well as Mt.Misery. High Schools will also be affected as programs such as Late Buses, and Class Size increases.
While these programs of POSSIBLE cuts, they are taken right from the powerpoint on the District Website, which gave these as possible cuts.
KPS Gill was the Director General of Punjab police (now retired) in the late 80s up to 1995 who was responsible for the atrocities afflicted upon thousands of Sikhs.
Now some racist Indians/Hindu extremists are sponsoring a film about him. It is very clear that they intend to portray him as some kind ‘super cop’.
The intention is to portray Singhs and Singhneeah who fought for our rights as terrorists. It’s in a long line of films that have been made that criticise and mock Sikhs, as they say on Sikh Channel (Sky 840) there’s a media war going on out there, we have got to act and make sure we let these people know we will not stand for this kind of subverted discrimination!!
We have to act! We have written a protest letter and created posters. We need the Sangats support in mailing thousands of these letters to various organisations if 100,000 Sikhs (out of 30 million+) send 10 letters each to 10 different organisations they will have to take action! We need to send as many as we can and alert as much Sangat as we can!!!
Sikhs have suffered inhumane torture, kidnappings, abuse, rape, murder and barbaric treatment at the hands of the so called officers of the law in Punjab.

4. Objection to proposed development of Old School House, Bradshaw
The proposed development of the 'Old School house' and cark park areas will have devastating effect on the local community.
The proposed erection of five three storey town houses along Lea Gate will not be in keeping with the village and conservation area. The local businesses will be adversely affected as parking for the Conservative Club and Church Garden Fisheries will no longer be available at this site.
Neighbours on Leagate will no longer have parking available to them. Trees have been earmarked for felling...this is supposed to be a conservation area!! You cannot have a satellite dish, but proposals for three storey houses made from stone, Timber and metal window frames may go ahead.
From 1st July 2007 the government has declared that smoking in enclosed spaces is now illegal and that the guilty party will have to pay £50 and the proprietor of a pub will have to pay £2500 and court costs. The no smoking areas forced upon smokers are as follows:
Taxis
Restaurants
Pubs
Clubs
Bus Stops
Work Vehicles
Phone Boxes
Pizza Parlours
Kebab Shops
Your Own Home (when workmen are about doing work)
Your own private registered vehicle
The place where you can smoke however is the pub in Westminster where the government have allowed themselves to smoke.
If you feel the government has removed your rights to smoke where you wish then please feel free to sign this petition. We currently need 12,000,000 signatures
6. Stop BT Removing Radio Broadband from N.Ireland
Update: August 18, 2006
This petition is now closed. BT are attempting to improve my system by changing my method of communication to cabled, the proposals seem good, thanks to all that signed this.
August 4, 2006
In 2003 BT secured a contract to supply Broadband to 100% of homes in Northern Ireland.
Now in 2006 when they have "completed this objective" they are downgrading all customers on Radio Broadband to Satellite broadband which gives a fraction of the benefits and even the chief executive of BT Wholesale Paul Reynolds admits :
"It is not true broadband, but it will give much faster internet access to many people who could otherwise be denied".
BT has spent part of a £10 Million European Grant putting in place Radio transmitters for radio broadband and this service is now to be axed, BT must not be allowed to get away with this.
BT are charging £27 pm for this "service", which in actual terms will only allow users to Browse the internet nothing more, it will not support any of the associated benefits of Broadband internet, no voice or video calling, no email service, no remote access, and for an IT business it is a death sentence.
After building up my IT business for 12 years, I will have to cease trading due to my inability to provide the services which I was able to provide over Radio Broadband.
The Minister for Enterprise Trade and Investment Mr Pearson said :
"By the end of 2005 every household and every business in Northern Ireland, no matter how remote, will have access to broadband at the same price. Local businesses will have the level playing field they need to compete in a global economy. This vitally important contract will deliver the Government's broadband vision of a fully connected Northern Ireland. In turn it will help make Northern Ireland more competitive,
YEA LOOKS THAT WAY DOESN'T IT.
In my opinion BT are reneging on that contract and have a duty to continue supplying Radio Broadband to Northern Ireland, why should we accept an inferior service that no longer enables us to conduct business, hardly the level playing field as projected in Mr Pearsons statement.
Urgent action is required to reverse this BT decision, they are due to cease the service next week.

8. Daycare Assistance Is Needed in Durham, N.C.
Daycare help has been cut in Durham, N.C. This means a lot of people will have to get on welfare. The money for Daycare has been cut for the school aged childern. What are parents to do now? Most will have to stop working or going to school and will go on welfare. I ask you to avoid this by giving more money to the daycare.

As king of post, post oat bran, and post toasties, I, k0k0them0nkey have been treated unfairly. I have a dream, my poor little children, that one day, I may moderate the loc board with my monkey bretheren. Well today, this dream is now. We must fight against the humanoid oppressors. And fight we will. They may torture my body, break my bones, even kill me. Then, they will have my dead body, not my obidience.
