1. Support Dyspraxia Awareness 
The Australian Government doesn't recognise or provide support for children with Dyspraxia. This is a disorder which affects children's oral, motor and verbal skills.
These children often struggle to communicate, do simple activities and interact with their peers. They need regular and ongoing speech therapy, occupational therapy and many other forms of medical support.
In Australia, dyspraxic children have no voice and every child deserves a voice!
2. Clearly define 'Police Caution'
We are ever delving in to peoples personal lives, with data being stored in all kinds of physical and digital states; in an ever expanding list of places e.g. cyberspace, police, local authorities, banks, mobile phones.
But much of this stored data is an infringement of our right to a 'Private and Family Life' as indicated in the Human Rights Act.
Now as a parent I consider the 'Law' and the associated powers to be a stringent and essential part of our lives in dealing with crime and potential acts of crime. However a 'Police Caution' is not a 'Sentence' or 'Conviction' and thus should not be allowed to remain on Police records as it is not a 'Spent Crime'. But the retention of this 'Caution' can be pretty damning, similarly as points on our drivers licence has the same effect. But even those points are removed once the offence has been 'Spent'. So why is it then that the law permits a 'Caution' to remain for 99-100 years on police records?
A 'Police Caution' is just that - a 'Caution' and not a conviction, therefore it should not remain indefinitely but serve as a deterrent for a prescribed amount of time e.g. four years.
3. Petition Congress To Make A Breach Of Contract With Military A Felony
This petition is written due to the controversy concerning the U.S. Appeals Court decision Allowing Dr. Mary Hanna, a Boston-based physician to legally breach a contract to serve in the Army as a medical officer on the grounds claiming that she is a conscientious objector.
Dr. Hanna accepted fully paid medical education scholarship from the Army and in exchange for receiving that scholarship signed a contract and gave her promise to give 8 years of service to military even after being given a promise by the Army that she would only be ordered to serve on staff as a physician in a military base hospital in Texas, she still refused to report to active duty.
4. Anti-Social Behaviour of Elderly in Dublin
This Petition is being brought forward because of Anti-Social Behaviour of some elderly people living in "Old Folks" Flats in our community. Some of us have lived here for over 20 years with no problems. Last year, a new tenant was moved into the "flats" and since then there has been verbal abuse and pictures being taken of children playing outside their homes, threatening gestures with a cane, verbal abuse to anyone with a dog, and property damage to a vehicle.
Another tenant was moved in recently and same anti-social behaviour is taken place, including threatening a dog with an axe in the prescence of children. There is also a "nun" who routinely calls the "guards" (police)if she hears children playing outside.
Now the reason these flats were built within a community is so the elderly can feel like they are in a community with families, and they are not sent to nursing homes to feel instituionalized or forgotten. These people forget that if children are outside playing, then the likelihood of them being robbed (which has happened on more than one occassion when there were no children or a dog outside)is decreased.
It seems that these elderly people who have a problem with children, people and animals should be institutionalized because they are a threat to themselves as well as the community.
