1. Day Of Defeat 3

As an avid fan and veteran player of the Day Of Defeat series I'd like to request a new game on behalf of the fan base of Day Of Defeat. It's 2011 and there's still 3000 players average every day on DODS.

Almost 7 years as gone by and now Counter Strike Is getting Its third Installment. I think Its only fair to regain the stranglehold on the WW2 genre of multiplayer gaming.

3. Achievements Half-Life 2 & Episode 1 for PC

Valve promised the achievements of Half-Life 2 and the Episode 1 to PC a long time ago, before the graphical conversion of the game "Day of Defeat: Source" but we don't have them still. If we are a lot of people in this group, we will force Valve to finally make and release them.

----------------------------------------

4. Make Aracanum 2 the pc game

"In a 2000 interview with Next game.it Tim Cain announced plans for an Arcanum sequel,[22] but these plans would not come to pass – Troika Games filed for dissolution on September 30, 2005.[23]

In September 2006, one of Arcanum's lead programmers and tri-founder of Troika, Leonard Boyarsky, divulged that the studio had originally commenced work on a sequel, going by the working title of Journey to the Center of Arcanum, which would use Valve's Source Engine. Development was curtailed by disputes between Sierra and Valve, resulting ultimately in the project being shelved."

5. Sonic Mega Collection and Level Editor On Steam

Sonic the Hedgehog is an icon of platform gaming, and has a strong legion of fans, his games on the Genesis are regarded the finest in its genre. Steam is an application that delivers quick easy access to gaming at excellent prices, and Sonic would surely make an excellent addition to its library.

Fans already use various unaffiliated programs to create their own fan games, and are very popular online. But a professional level creator specifically for Sonic, would surely be extremely appealing concept to the fans, another advantage is the games possibility's become unlimited to the players imagination, the game will have no end.

Who has not dreamed of making their own Sonic game/level, character or boss? Their are also a lack of platform games on the PC, a gap that can be easily exposed. Platform games can make great casual gaming, and at present casual gaming is the fastest growing market online.

6. Give Wim Barelds A Position at VALVe

Wim Barelds has been a CAL Anti Cheat Manager for a little bit over a season (Now Assistant after not having enough time to be head). He has been doing official Anti Cheat in CAL for 40 weeks.

Barelds has a amazing knowledge at this game when it comes to different plugins/cvars/cheating/etc. Barelds was the one that stepped in to make fair game play by making "zBlock" (Along with help from some other people). zBlock now has the abilities to not allow most popular transparent textures in gameplay - Something amazing.

He knows what the community wants. Without Barelds around, i know for a fact competitive play wouldn't be as nearly good.

9. STOP H.R. 1528 !

WHAT'S WRONG WITH H.R. 1528?

Among other things, it:

- Makes the federal sentencing guidelines a system of mandatory minimum sentences through a "Booker-fix" provision.
- Creates new mandatory minimums that further erode judicial discretion.
- Eliminates the safety valve for low-level drug offenders.
- Makes virtually every drug crime committed in urban areas subject to "drug free zone" penalties that carries a five-year mandatory minimum sentence.
- Punishes defendants for the "relevant conduct" of co-conspirators that occurred BEFORE the defendant joined the conspiracy.

As written, H.R. 1528 would:

- Effectively make the federal sentencing guidelines a system of mandatory minimum sentences through a "Booker-fix" provision. This provision forbids judges from departing below the guideline sentence in all but a few cases.

- Make the sale of any quantity of any controlled substance (including anything greater than five grams of marijuana) by a person older than 21 to a person younger than 18 subject to a ten-year federal mandatory minimum sentence.

-Create a new three-year mandatory minimum for parents who witness or learn about drug trafficking activities, targeting or even near their children, if they do not report it to law enforcement authorities within 24 hours and do not provide full assistance investigating, apprehending, and prosecuting the offender.

-Create a new 10-year mandatory minimum sentence for any parent committing a drug trafficking crime in or near the presence of their minor child.

- Mandate life in prison for persons 21 years or older convicted a second time of distributing drugs to a person under 18 or convicted a first time after a felony drug conviction has become final.

- Increase to five years the federal mandatory minimum sentence for the sale of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school, college, public library, drug treatment facility (or any place where drug treatment, including classes, are held), or private or public daycare facilities - in short, almost anywhere in cities across the U.S.

- Eliminate the federal "safety valve," granting it only when the government certifies that the defendant pled guilty to the most serious readily provable offense (the one that carries the longest sentence), and has "done everything possible to assist substantially in the investigation and prosecution of another person," and would prohibit the federal "safety-valve" in cases where drugs were distributed or possessed near a person under 18, where the defendant delayed his or her efforts to provide substantial assistance to the government, or provided false, misleading or incomplete information.

For these reasons, FAMM opposes H.R. 1528.

10. Stop CS 1.6

We want valve to recall counter-strike 1.6. This is one of the worst things to have in the gaming community. We would like 1.5 to stay the primary version of counter-strike.

11. Release HL2 for the computer

We first saw the rumor on planethalflife.com that HL2 could be a X-Box exclusive. This is not acceptable since the mod community cannot work on any console game, the whole thing that made HL such a huge hit is that Valve wanted users to make mods for Half-Life.

While I can see the monetary advantage of an exclusively X-Box release it would be lowering Valve's prestige to do so. We don't want another ''Halo'' thrown at us, Microsoft is trying to get it's claws on the videogame industry and games are something they arn't very good at.

Release HL2 for the PC!
