1. Get the Bible back in schools
Youth in our nation need times of prayer and Biblical teaching in order to properly make decisions, and need to be encouraged to follow the LORD JESUS CHRIST who alone should be our law giver, judge and King.
Along with requesting times of prayer and Biblical classes in schools, we the undersigned also demand that all evolution classes and classes teaching non-biblical principals be stopped at once since this is teaching a lie to our youth. As the founders of this nation stated, "We are endowed by our Creator with certain inalienable rights .. . .." The founders of this country proclaimed a Creator, as do we. HIS name is JESUS CHRIST.
2. Stop the Execution of Saeed Malekpour, Iranian-Canadian Comp Programmer, Imminent Execution!
Iran is imprisoning and abusing an American pastor because of his faith. Iran, home of one of the world’s most radical Islamic regimes, is holding American Pastor Saeed Abedini because he is a Christian, refusing to release him, and subjecting him to unspeakable abuse.
At the ACLJ, we are launching an international campaign to free Pastor Saeed, and we need Americans to mobilize for religious liberty.
Urge the President, the State Department, and every Member of Congress to take a stand for an American Christian.
3. Americans for Ethics in Journalism
We, as concerned Americans, realize that ethics in journalism and in society are voluntary; there are no legal documents that constrict behavior. However, here in America, we have a history of truth and trust in media.
Only in more recent times, with 24 hour news cycle and competition for ratings, we are faced with a media which does more to incite, divide, and mislead Americans than one which seeks to inform, educate and bring people together for common good.
Facts are tossed aside for monetary gain/ratings.
For example, most recently, in a push for ratings, Newsweek gave a blatant example of what is presented to Americans: "America’s First Gay President" was splashed across the cover complete with rainbow halo.
Certainly it is disrespectful to the office of the Presidency and many Americans faced with that image and those untrue words will never open Newsweek to read an accompanying article for further clarification of the historical significance for America. It is as wrong to present information like this as it would for someone to send a card that on the outside says “All your loved ones have died.” It is not justified by the fact that when the card is opened they will read: “laughing when I told that old joke.” Misleading viewers and readers isn’t ethical journalism.
We are asking for a return to journalists who perform thorough research, who'll ask tough questions, present facts and correct guests with facts when they are interviewing them. Yes, hours or days later someone will clarify when a lie was told yet it is not done in the moment and that is why so many never know what is true or false.
The debate over the Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare) is a perfect example. For months, media allowed lies about the law (death panels) to be spewed without correcting them. Seldom did media actually present the facts about how the law would help Americans. The result was confusion about legislation that is already helping millions.
Another example is the gridlock in Congress. Media has portrayed this as the fault of both parties, when indeed it is the Republican party that chose from day one to obstruct everything President Obama proposed that would help the country. When, Republicans blocked the jobs bills and student loans bill, media portrayed this as the bill failing, which was not true.
We Americans will not allow media to hijack our democracy by presenting distorted information. CNN has already seen a 21% drop in ratings (April 2012 over April 2011) because of this biased reporting.
We ask you to change course or face a boycott of your shows and sponsors.
4. Say NO to the journalistic bigotry of MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell
On April 3rd 2012, Lawrence O’Donnell slandered a religion of over 14 million people worldwide among millions of other fellow Christians in his newscast "The Last Word."
O’Donnell made inflammatory and inaccurate statements about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints also known as “The Mormon Church” and its founder, Joseph Smith, during his political program intending to offer analysis of Tuesday's presidential primaries.
It is the responsibility of the news providers to report facts. We seek 350,000 signatures for this petition by May 2nd 2012. We will submit these signatures to MSNBC for remedial action.

5. Review administration of donation of Mr. Petros I. Tsiros to the Church of Cyprus
In 1984 Petros I. Tsiros passed away after making the biggest ever donation to the Church of Cyprus, a property donation believed to be worth by today’s value, of well over One Billion Euros (600 Million Cypriot Pounds), with the express written condition that the Church of Cyprus should use the profits from the sale and development of that land, for public charitable causes and every time such funds were used to announce that they originated from Petros I. Tsiros donation fund.
After thirty five or so years and hundreds of millions of proceeds from that donation, the people of Cyprus are still anxiously waiting for the first of such announcements and the handling of the donation has remained an enigma to many.

6. STOP the DENIAL and DESTRUCTION of ANCIENT CELTIC NZ
!!STOP the DENIAL!! and !!DESTRUCTION of ANCIENT CELTIC NZ!!
For years now ancient skeletal remains and artifacts including stone walls, stone dwellings, stone fireplaces, altars and petroglyhs carved in stone have been discovered all over New Zealand.
These remains are anscestors of this country, but instead of studying and/or preserving these priceless discoveries they have been left unprotected and under constant threat from development.
In 2005 in the Kaipara District a pig hunter found human bones. A curator of the Dargaville Maritime Museum and a team of researchers investigated the findings. They found 3 types of skeletons, some were 7-8 feet tall, some were of a small pygmy size, the others were normal.
A specialist who examined the the remains likened the small ones to a race of people living in Wales 3000 years ago. This discovery was not made public. The size and shape of the skulls found were clearly not polynesian.
An archaeologist found carbon datings around one of the one of the stone cairns near the Waipoua forest 2.3 metres down that proved there were people living in New Zealand 5000 years ago. Stone dwellings, walls and other ancient stone artifacts were also found in the Waipoua forest.
* The remains of twelve skeletons were unearthed by contractors doing earthwork on a farm in Taranaki. They were in a formal European burial ground which was similar to the bog burials of Britain. The burial ground was not known, even to the local iwi. The skeletons were well preserved in woven material but no photography or forensic testing was permitted.
* Just over a deade ago in Waikaretu, skeletons were once again discovered by earthworks contractors. They were found in a cave in stone crypts. Anthropologists were called in but the site was shut down and a 75 year moratorium was placed upon it. Stone housing found near the Waikaretu stream was crushed to use for road metal.
These are just few of the hundreds if not thousands of discoveries that have been made over the whole of New Zealand (including remains found on my family farm in Raglan) and not just recently but over many decades.
These ancient people need our voice, our strength and our unity to protect and preserve their very existence!!!

9. To progressively change public communications into educational information on meta-cognition
Simplified a world without meta-cognition, & true psychology would be us teaching our public what to think, not how to think. So we never learn how to think. We must change this!

11. Stop Cheating Seniors on Social Security
Social Security, Seniors beware. The US Federal Government presently essentially steals money from Social Security for every year since the Ronald Reagan years.
President Obama said that there will be no COLA increase for Social Security for this year or for any years in the foreseeable future. He said there is no inflation.
This means to me that there will be more money coming in from workers but no increase going out to the recipients. Thus, the "Surplus" gets larger for the Government to steal. Please sign this petition to stop this theft by the US Government. Their I.O.U. are worthless.
Harold T. Braswell
Truth is not always the easiest road. Look at politics. Look at individual human choices. Many would rather ride the wind of emotion and popularity than Truth-filled conviction. It's time for accountability and honor in the hearts of man. It's time for a revolution.
13. Protect the Free Internet - Say No to Mandatory Censorship
The Rudd Labor government is planning to introduce a mandatory Internet filtering system, which is scheduled to begin trials before Christmas 2008.
The "cleanfeed" system will be mandatory on all ISPs and there will be no opt out. The government will have sole discretion to decide for us what is "inappropriate" web content.
This proposal is a sinister attack on our free society and must be resisted by all legal means available.

14. Moment of Truth: Georgia vs. South Ossetia
Dear inhabitants of our general home, united by the name "The Earth planet" !
The possibility to address directly this petition, with use of this resource, is a great honour. With huge respect for all direct and indirect participants of this project, and also - for all users of a Global Information Network «Internet», we would like to public our petition.
The world of 21 century is extremely fragile, both in political, and in the social relation. Repeated cases of various circumstances and situations testify, that balance can be broken not only rash acts, but also by unreasonable words. Using of ambiguous treatments and mercenary of their consequences is now ordinary.
An aggressive Georgian attack to South Ossetia, which entailed uncountable victims among peacemakers and the Russian citizens, and also - preparation of the similar adventurous action against Abkhazia. In the dark night of August 8th 2008, the official management of Georgia has crossed out all joint international arrangements of peace maintaining in unstable region. Senseless cruelty and violation of all known international principles of military actions conducting produced a humanitarian collapse in South Ossetia.
The uncertain territorial status of South Ossetia was fixed many years ago by signing of multilateral agreements. It is necessary to notice, that the Georgia Government also participated in the coordination and signing of the this arrangements.
But, using recommendations of the west partners and pushed by external patrons, the Georgia Government take a step, which instantly destroyed all diplomatic arrangements and all difficult negotiating process results in questions of peace maintenance in region, which was honesty supported by Russia in all relations.
It is especially disturbing, that the majority of international community citizens cannot make objective conclusions in connection with armed conflict in South Ossetia.
Numerous contradictions and distortions of facts, which overflowed the European and Western mass media, also promote this situation. This contradictions have not only deliberate character, because of rather specific journalistic work in the situation of military operations. However, prevalence of unreasonable statements suggest about blind following and maintenance of Georgian authorities criminal policy.
The situation of the deformed conflict description saved and in the treatment of Abkhazia and South Ossetia independence recognition from Russia. This decision was accepted, basing on the positions of United Nations Organization Charter, the Helsinki Final Act and others fundamental international documents, including the Declaration of 1970 about principles of international rights in friendship relations between states.
Moreover, the independence recognition is reasonable not only legal meaning, but also because of universal all-humanity rights principals about self-determination, freedom, equality and independence.
Mr. Saakashvili has said very important phrase "The Moment of Truth is coming". Speaking about this, he is absolutely right.
It is time once and for all to be advanced — whose side is supported by the world community, not on behalf of the states, but on behalf of each unique person as a part of the population of the Earth?
15. The Environment Needs OUR Help!
The background information is pretty much that our environment is turning into a dump.
Rainforests are being cut down, and the ozone layer is completely disappearing. Global warming is for a fact, happening. The evidence of global warming is Al Gore's documentation called "An Inconvenient Truth".
Many animals are dying because of global warming, such as polar bears and penguins. They are dying at increasing rates and will end up extinct. In the documentation "An Inconvenient Truth", Al Gore shows stunning statistics.
The one that I found most stunning is that if we continue on like this, some of our major cities will be totally underwater because of the melting ice from the north and south poles. Some of the places are New York City, Miami, Houston, and many others.
16. Peace and truth in Kenya and East Africa at large
The legitamacy of the current government of Kenya is questionable given the outcry and demonstration of disgust being expressed by the citizens after the announcement of the presidential results.
The results were further dented when the chairman of the electoral commission when asked in an interview after the announcement was non committal on whether the current president actually won.
To help in the reconciliation process, the truth about the actual winner should be established and if to the reverse then the present results revoked and either the actual winner sworn in or repeat presidential elections be organised by an independent body within three months and treat the present government as interim.

18. Renew Professor Andrew Paquin's Contract
As of May 29th, 2007, the administration of Colorado Christian University has
decided to not renew Professor Andrew Paquin's teaching contract.
Named "2005-2006 Faculty Member of the Year" by the CCU student body, Andrew
Paquin is both loved and respected by current students, alumni, faculty, staff,
and parents of CCU students. Now, against their wishes, Professor Paquin is
being dismissed on grounds that are hardly comprehensible.
Rarely promulgating his own opinions, Professor Paquin challenged students to
come to their own conclusions about what it meant to be a follower of Christ.
He truly called on his students to "think for themselves" and "be seekers of
truth," two purported objectives of the University. His dismissal would be a
regrettable step backwards in the pursuit of these goals.
Professor Paquin’s background and convictions were exactly what the Social
Sciences department needed. He breathed life into the Global Studies degree,
undoubtedly contributing to its rapidly growing status. With his practical and
experiential knowledge in the non-profit sector, as well as his relentless passion
for empowering the poor and marginalized, Professor Paquin was an invaluable
asset to the Global Studies program of Colorado Christian University.
Furthermore, his termination will not only be a loss for Global Studies students,
but a loss for the student body as a whole.
I cannot convince everyone to help stop global warming, but I know something that can, people say one movie can't change the world, but I think this one will.
I highly reccomend you see this movie, it's called "An Inconvenient Truth". I'd say global warming is the most important issue of anything that has ever happened, more important than terrorists or, well, everything! And anyone that thinks global warming is a load of sh** is a bastard and I hope they die of heat exaustion.
There are all these shows on TV about human life after the year 2100, but if global warming continues and if we don't do anything about it then 2100 is marked as about the time that everyone and everything on Earth will die because the planet is starting to boil! And it will keep getting hotter and hotter and hotter and hotter and hotter and hotter and hotter and it won't stop there it will keep going even if the human race and all other life has been killed off by it, it will keep getting hotter because our self running machines are still there burning up the planet.
Soon earth will be a ball of fire (literally) orbiting around another ball of fire, the Sun, if this hasn't convinced you then why don't you go to the cinema and get a big box of popcorn and a large coke or any other drink you want, maybe a packet of chocolate or anything you want and sit down and watch "An Inconvenient Truth" because it will change your life and anyone's life that watches it.
20. Where is freedom of speech in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus?
Open letter from the Community of Global Defenders of Truth, Justice, Peace and Tolerance:
The modern world is crying with blood and tears for a universal and sincere recognition of these values. Are not these values enshrined in the Holy Quran and the teachings of our beloved Prophet (saw)?
Over the last 50 years (half a century!) no single human being has supported and defended these values more ardently than the Most Venerable Sheikh ul Islam Muhammed Nazim Adil Haqqani.
He was born in Cyprus and brought up and educated in a great tradition of learning and practice by some of the greatest saintly scholars of Islam, in the last century. In his mission to serve the Almighty Allah Ta'ala, Sheikh Nazim has traveled the world to communicate the message of Truth from the shores of California in the west to those of Japan in the east, and from the confines of the Caucasus in the North to the perimeter of the southern seas in South Africa. His 25 years (1975-2000)of observance of the holy fasting month of Ramadan in Britain, the nightly celebration of Teravih prayers in London, and endless weeks of lecturing, advice and support to countless number of adherents to the faith of Islam, and to non-Muslims, are all testimony to a remarkable life dedicated to preaching Truth, Justice, Peace and Tolerance.
Having now returned to his native Cyprus he continues to dedicate whatever remains of his life to serving the cause of Allah Ta'ala as before. Recent events in TRNC (Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus) regarding the harassment of Sheikh Nazim are deplorable to say the least. His weekly newsletter- one sided A4 printout, 40-50 in number- has worried the TRNC police (in TRNC police forces are under the military forces of mainland Turkey and not the local government minister) so much so that they confiscated a computer on 22-03-2006 and they are now running a full scale investigation which will lead to the prosecution of Sheikh Nazim for allegedly acting against the TRNC!
The message given out in Sheikh Nazim's leaflets do not carry any material that threatens national security or is inflammatory and likely to produce an upheaval. They are simple guidance calling on all people to recognize their creator and not to neglect their duty to Him. The forces responsible for this unfortunate behavior are acting independently of the democratic government of the TRNC.
The government of the TRNC is democratically elected and the whole world has followed with intent the evolution of democracy on mainland Turkey and the TRNC. It is a great credit to the people of these lands that they act as a beacon of democracy to the rest of the Muslim world, which is at present caught up in the throes of change.
The personality and standing of Sheikh Nazim is undoubtedly linked to the march towards freedom and peace of this important geographical and strategic region of the globe. It is sad to note that those who want to hamper this natural evolution of events leading to the welfare and prosperity of society misunderstand the essence of Sheikh Nazim's message.
After more than a century of official atheism, crass materialism, capitalism -you name it- human society across the world inspite of severe dislocations to- day seem to be poised to recognize the role of his creator in his worldly affairs. Many heads of state and government across the world do not hesitate to express publicly their belief in and worship of God.
The message of Sheikh Nazim is pure and simple, namely : Acknowledge Allah Ta'ala as your creator and Master first and the rest will follow. Let government and society show allegiance to the Lord Almighty- the fall out of a sincere and genuine faith in Him can but lead to peace, prosperity and happiness not only in this physical world but most importantly in the next world after death.
No amount of improvement in economic, scientific and technological progress etc is likely to bring peace to a world in dire need of it when this important criterion of Belief in Allah Ta'ala is missing in human affairs.
Sheikh Nazim is highly respected by both governments on the island of Cyprus as an exponent for peace. His role in the last referendum for unification of Cyprus was crucial in enabling the TRNC to project a worldwide and unique image of tolerance. This tolerance in fact is a national characteristic of the TRNC people.
We call on the police and the Turkish military presence in the TRNC to reconsider their position in the light above. May Allah Ta'ala help them to do so.
This open letter is being sent to President and Prime Minister of TRNC, the UN Secretary General and also being supported as a petition on the web site

21. Remove the movie The Da Vinci Code
March 01, 2006
The Da Vinci Code has undermined faith and is not telling the truth about who JESUS was.
I ask you to sign this petition to stop local theaters from showing this movie.
22. Campaign for Truth for the 2008 election
We, the undersigned, as potential voters in the 2008 election, petition the news media to report on the campaigns with fairness, accuracy, and good judgement. We do not want to see, hear, or read a slanted opinion. We want the truth so we can better decide who to vote for in the upcoming election.
23. Abolish False Convictions in Madison Wisconsin!!!
Why do police and detectives get away with brute force, threats and entrapment? Allegations and incidents that are not true, false arrests and bogus charges. There really isn't much to say as far as history goes this is prevalent and is really hitting home here in Wisconsin.
This has been the case all over the world but in a "civilized " Country like America it is something to be questioned.
24. Jewish Americans Want Politicians to Work for Peace in Israel/Palestine
"The world rests on three things: on justice, on truth, and on peace. And all three are one, for where there is justice, there is also truth, and there is peace."
-Talmud, Ta'anit, 4:2
Cynthia McKinney paid a price for speaking the truth. As a Representative of the United States Congress, she had the conviction and courage to state what so many of her colleagues think privately but are hesitant to say publicly: Israel's 37-year-old military occupation of the Palestinian people in the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and East Jerusalem is wrong and that ending this occupation is a prerequisite for there to be peace between Israelis and Palestinians.
Like the rabbis of the Talmud, Ms. McKinney understands that the strands which bind together peace and justice are inseparable. Israelis cannot expect to live in peace and security while their government is engaged in a land grab and degrading military occupation that denies their neighbors, the Palestinians, their individual human rights and their collective right of self-determination.
Ms. McKinney's willingness in Congress to question Israel's military occupation of the Palestinians earned her the ire of some Jewish American organizations. These institutions demonized Ms. McKinney both before and during her 2002 Democratic primary race and political action committees aligned with them pumped substantial funds into the election campaign of her challenger, Denise Majette. Flush with funds and the support of Republicans who "crossed over" and voted for her in the Georgia primary to punish Ms. McKinney for her critical analysis of the Bush Administration's "war on terror", Ms. Majette won her primary election and one of Congress' most important voices was stilled temporarily. However, Ms. McKinney is undaunted by this defeat and is seeking to reclaim her seat in the House of Representatives in 2004.
25. Kurt Cobain - Murder or Suicide?
March 30, 2004
This petition is for all the people whom do not believe Kurt Cobain killed himself but was killed. He was on 225 mg. of heroin, which would immediately incapacitate Cobain. He could not have picked up the Shot Gun nor pulled the trigger. Also there were no fingerprints on the gun. If he pulled the trigger there would be his fingerprints on the gun at least.
Kurt needs justice, and lets give it to him. The people signing this petition all think Mr. Cobain was murdered and Courtney Love/Cobain had something to do with it. For more information on the investigation you can email me at Tinkerbellzgrl@yahoo.com or go to www.justiceforkurt.com and the site will give you evidence. Or I will.
My name is Gidget J. Hersh and I will fight this until Mr. Cobain gets the justice he deserves.
26. Petition For Truth regarding the benefits of vaginal birth vs. elective cesarean surgery
February 20, 2004
The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology has released a statement which addresses the ethics of decision making regarding elective, or on-demand, cesarean surgery.
ACOG notes in the statement that although a number of factors influence such decision making, ultimately the decision will come down to the patients concerns and the physicians understanding of the procedures risks and benefits.
However, ACOG also states that it is unclear whether or not a patient has the right to have a surgical procedure when there is no evidence to support the procedure, and makes no statement regarding a physicians responsibility to specifically inform the patient of the benefits of not having the procedure.
Meanwhile, the CDC reports that the cesarean rate has risen to 26.1%, the VBAC rate has dropped 23%, and maternal and newborn mortality rates are on the rise, due to the frequent complications associated with cesarean surgery.
Women are not being given the whole story when it comes to the safety and benefits of a vaginal birth for them and their baby. To see the statement, and these rates:

27. Require all public schools to teach children the truth about United States history
The United States of America was created upon the basis of a eurocentric philosophy dripping with white supremist ideals. From the very beginning, America has been the number one terrorist in the world. It has institutionalized racism as well as supported and encouraged mass genocide of entire nations of peoples.
Contrary to popular belief, the first holocaust did not take place in Germany; rather, the first holocaust took place right here in the contegious United States. Hitler can be quoted as writing that his nazi regime had much to gain from studying how the Americans exterminated whole nations of native american peoples. The nazi concentration camps were based off of American indian reservations and the extermination and mass slaughter of over 100,000,000 native individuals. Our government signed treaties with these nations of peoples and continually turned around and broke nearly every single one of them. Native children were kidnapped and sent to boarding schools where they were forced to live their lives according to the strict Protestant ethic, taught to march and punished if they uttered a word of their native language. The popular justification at that time for the destruction of these children's ties to their native culture/way of life was "kill the savage to save the man." History books teach Americans to think of Indians/Native Americans as savages, when in reality, the Americans were the savages. Scalping is commonly associated as one of the savage behaviors native american's displayed. This is inherently false. Scalping came about when the federal and state governments offered a reward for native american scalps. Americans were the scalpers, not the native americans. In some instances people would get money for a native's head, then turn around and scalp the same head to receive even more money. Only long after Americans had instituted scalping as an acceptable, profitable practice did certain tribes begin to do the same to other tribes they were in conflict with--which, by the way, the government pitted against one another in order to ensure it would continue to have the upper hand in exploiting the natives and stealing their land.
People who live in the states of California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Nevada, Utah and parts of Colorado do not actually live in the United States; this land is in reality Mexican territory which the United States acquired without Mexico's consent after invading Mexico, leading to the war of 1812. Hence, many educated individuals refer to these areas as occupied Mexico, as they are truthfully not part of the United States. Therefore, "illegal immigrants" from Mexico who live in these areas are not illegals at all; rather, AMericans living in these areas are the illegals.
These are just a few of the endless facts regarding our country's history, and we need to stop teaching children false information in our schools. Publishers of history textbooks should be legally forced to provide the truth about our country's long history of savage, brutal, dishonest and racist behavior. In light of current global events, knowledge of the truth abut our country will help us all better understand why the rest of the world does not like or is fearful of our country. Sugar coating the harsh reality of American imperialism in history textbooks perpetuates the continued discrimination and marginalization of only breeds racism, ignorance and stupidity.

30. Help Free Speaker from being Imprisoned in BC, Canada
I am a advocate for human rights. I'm posting this petition to help a freedom fighter who is about to be imprisoned for exercising his freedom to speak. This is his story
An Appeal from A Soon-To-Be Prisoner of Conscience in British Columbia, Canada
by Rev. Kevin Annett.
Secretary, The Truth Commission into Genocide in Canada website: http://canadiangenocide.nativeweb.org
I am writing this personal appeal to the world because by August, I may be incarcerated in prison for having exercised my God-given and constitutionally protected freedom of speech in Canada.
In my work as an advocate and fighter for the rights of aboriginal people, I have discovered that an American conglomerate known as NAWAPA - The North
American Water and Power Alliance - is coveting the lands of native people in central British Columbia, with the assistance of corrupt and violent native
politicians and the government of Canada.
NAWAPA plans to dam and divert three major river systems in our province into the United States through a massive water reservoir known as the Rocky Mountain Trench.
(see website: http://www.sd83.bc.ca/vanj-home.html)
As a result, the lands of thousands of indigenous people in north-central British Columbia will be flooded and their way of life destroyed forever.
Some of the most powerful native politicians in this region are dispossessing their own people from their lands to pave the way for the NAWAPA project. According to eyewitnesses Frank Martin and Helen
Michel of the Dene-Carrier nation, chiefs of the Carrier - Sekani Tribal Council in Prince George, BC
have employed violence, extortion, and even murder to secure trap lines and other lands from their own people.
According to Frank and Helen, and other Tribal Council activists, these chiefs are also implicated in criminal actions like drug trafficking, prostitution,
and the exploitation of children in organized pedophile rings in the Prince George-Moricetown area. These allegations have been substantiated by
journalists, lawyers, and sources within the Carrier-Sekani Tribal Council.
Two weeks ago, one of these accused chiefs, Ed John, commenced a lawsuit against Frank and Helen, myself,
and other critics, to permanently silence and incarcerate us if we persist in our investigation of
crimes against aboriginal people in his territory.
The law firm handling Ed John's case - Blake, Cassells and Graydon of Vancouver - is closely tied to
the government of Canada through its head, Marvin Storrow, who is a close friend and confident of Prime
Minister Jean Chretien.
Chretien has not only recently been cited at the International Criminal Court in The Hague for complicity in Genocide of native people in Canada, but
his government, like Chief Ed John, is committed to the NAWAPA project through its obligations under the NAFTA agreement with the USA.
There can be no clearer case than this one of a modern state employing puppet indigenous leaders to dispossess entire peoples in the interests of foreign
multinational corporations. Nor can there be a more obvious example of a government attacking and silencing dissidents than what myself and native
activists like Frank and Helen are presently up against.
Besides this lawsuit, we are experiencing regular death threats, physical assaults, and other
harrassment designed to isolate and break us.
We need all persons of conscience to rally now to our defense, and to the aboriginal people of central
British Columbia.
We ask that you do the following:
1. Alert Amnesty International and other human rights groups about our case and the ongoing Genocide of
native peoples in Canada, and ask them to adopt us as prisoners of conscience.
2. Contact the government of Canada, and Prime Minister Jean Chretien, and demand that their covert harrassment of opponents of NAWAPA and Ed John cease.
3. Contact Marvin Storrow, Q.C., at Blake, Cassells and Graydon in Vancouver, BC, and demand that this
firm halt their lawsuit (#S012186) and campaign of harrassment of myself and other critics of Chief Ed
John. (They can be contacted at this e-mail: joanne.lysyk@blakes.com).
4. Acquaint yourself with the past and present legal Genocide of native peoples in our country by accessing
and sharing the documented proof of these crimes at the website of our Truth Commission:
http://canadiangenocide.nativeweb.org
5. Contribute to a Legal Defense Fund which is being established for us through the Truth Commission into
Genocide in Canada and other agencies.
6. Contact me directly at the e-mail below for further ideas and assistance.
I wish to thank you for your consideration, and ask for your prayers; not only for myself and my family, but for all of the aboriginal people of our land who face overwhelming odds in defense of their land, culture and very lives.
May the Creator and Great Mystery allow us Justice in our time,
Rev. Kevin D. Annett
