421. Halloween H20 Ultimate DVD 
Since Halloween H20 received a lackluster DVD release, fans of the film are wanting a DVD that does justice to the film. Anamorphic transfer, commentary, trailers, ect. Also, the original music score by John Ottman should be included, along with a commentary by him. It was a shame that his magnificent score got axed, so here is a chance to do it right.
Since Dimension/Miramax are likely not to release something like this, Anchor Bay is the best choice. They would deliver a great quality product. Please show your support for an Ultimate H20 DVD with original score!
422. Support European Union Enlargement
The people of the Republic of Ireland voted against the Nice Treaty in a referendum on June 7, 2001. The rejection was for a number of complex reasons mainly related fears of being enmeshed in a military alliance or loss of independence to EU institutions. Yet, in the European media we are being portrayed as a selfish nation who don't want to see the economic benefits of EU membership being extended to the East European countries.
423. Petition For Standard Referral To Local And/Or National Support Group At Time Of Diagnosis
I had a son who was diagnosed with multiple birth defects and who spent the first 10 months of his life in the hospital. The doctors gave me little information, and in terms that I didn't understand and they didn't refer my family to a support group or other knowledge bank. I felt alone and helpless. Most people who have been diagnosed with medical problems or people with family members who have been diagnosed with medical problems encountered the same problem that I did-- lack of information, no referrals for a support group, no one to turn to who could answer your questions. How many of you didn't find a support group until years later, if at all? How many of us stayed up until 3 a.m. searching the internet for information? How much difference would it have made in your child's care and outcome if you had that information and support? How much difference would it have made to your sanity if you knew that you weren't the only one going through all that you or your family member's medical problems has put you and your family?
424. Syracuse University: Don't Abandon the Boy Scouts
There was little debate, no dissension and no vote when Syracuse University Chancellor Kenneth A. Shaw consulted his board of trustees executive committee April 6 about barring the Hiawatha-Seaway Council of the Boy Scouts of America from using the Carrier Dome for its annual Boypower Dinner.
The Scouts had used the Dome and the university's catering service for 17 of the past 18 years, raising as much as $500,000, before Shaw decided that the Boy Scout policy excluding openly homosexual adult leaders was at odds with the University's mission.
However, in June 2000, the United States supreme Court ruled that the Boy Scouts, a private organization, were within their constitutional rights to bar homosexuals as scoutmasters. Syracuse University is penalizing the Boy Scouts of America because the almost-century old organization both refuses to nullify its pledge to be "morally straight" and will not abandon its central mission to teach young boys what George A. Davidson, a lawyer for the organization, described to the Supreme Court as "true manliness" - a man's responsibility in marriage and fatherhood.
425. Human Cloning Ethics Research
Have you experienced the untimely death of a family member or friend? Could this person have been saved if their own DNA was used to produce a healthy heart, liver, or lungs? This petition is to support the research of Human Cloning Ethics. I will not support unregulated cloning practices. If we can at the very least discuss an Ethics Research then all those untimely deaths I was referring to will be just that untimely. Thank you.
426. John Maloney Deserves A New Trial
April 9, 2001
John Maloney was wrongfully convicted of killing his wife in 1999. There is compelling evidence that her death was accidental and no crime was committed in the first place. Unfortunately, neither the jury nor the judge heard this evidence.
John Maloney's lawyer had a movie deal in his pocket, so he deliberately ignored and suppressed this evidence in order to follow the script of the movie.
John Maloney sits in prison to promote the careers of the prosecutor and his own lawyer. This petition will be used for two purposes: to gain public support over the Internet and elsewhere, and to specifically request the same judge who sentenced him--and who was denied full information--to give him a new trial. John Maloney and everyone else that believes in him, wants his name cleared of this mockery of justice.

Please support HB31, the bill that supports the future of our community and our students' education. "HB31 increases state funding of basic and per pupil entitlements 4/7% or $66.7 million over the biennium." (MEA Bulletin, Vol. 7, Issue 7 2/23/01) Show that we care about the future of Montanans!!! Education needs a lap dog, too!
429. Support Terrapin Stock Assessment
The Diamondback Terrapin may be under increasing harvesting pressure. This species is a prized food item in many urban markets in the US and in Canada. In response to citizens request the Governor of Maryland has appropriated $250,000 for a five year stock assessment of the Diamondback Terrapin, the State Reptile. ALthough the funds have been requested, the overall budget must be approved. This is a very important study and necessary to conserve this species.
430. Boycott Nike - Child Labor
Nike abuses(physically, mentally, sexually) it's child workers and forces them to work in outragous conditions. It is unsafe, and flat out wrong. They pay their child workers just pennies a day and then sell the merchandise for hundreds of dollars.
431. Request for Lexmark 1100 drivers for Windows 2000
The Lexmark 1100 is used by many people who also use Windows 2000. Unfortunately, this combination will not work. Lexmark refuses to recognize Windows 2000 as an operating system that home users would install. In fact, in a Lexmark 1100 Info Sheet published by Lexmark Canda, Inc. (a division of Lexmark International) in 1998 stated that the 1100 would support Windows NT 4.0. (You can find this at http://www.lexmark.com/canada/pdf/1100spec.pdf) Now, almost 3 years later, that support has yet to come. This petition is designed to help them work faster.
432. Save Our Girl Bands
We are an up and coming girl band and are concerned about the negative publicity some current girl bands are receiving. We are also concerned about the lack of support of girl bands by the recording industry. Please show your support for our cause.
433. Road rage threatens endangered species
Over the past decade we have gradually seen the phasing out of a fine automobile, "the Magna" Recently numbers appear to be in rapid decline and something must be done to preserve this unique species. Capable of transporting 7 in relative discomfort, losing no traction on beach terrain and surviving a hundred kilo monolithic unit from Orange falling on its roof, the Magna has proven time and again that it is a survivor. Those who own a Magna swear by it, however these individuals are often subject to delusions of its invulnerability and as such often push the Magna to its limits. It is these people that must be identified, they must be held accountable for their actions and the cruelty they inflict upon this species. Only with your support can we save this special breed of car and ensure that future university students have a bucket like the Magna they can call their own. Please help save the Magna!!
