1. Hold Judges Accountable for Denied Restraining Orders
Temporary Injunctions must become Restraining Orders to protect the victim from a life threatening situation. This is usually for Domestic Violence but can also be seen in Stalking cases.
The order must be granted by a judge who decides if the victim/petitioner needs to be protected based on their story, which they've prepared for the judge.
Once in court, the judge has a workload of many other injunctions to read through on that same day and depending on each individual case, they can be lengthy. This assembly-like system will ultimately dehumanize each case presented, obstructing the careful consideration needed for delicate issues and complex situations. It is easy to miss vital information that can make the difference between life and death for these victims. But the workload is not the only problem.
Some judges make the wrong decisions.
These judges should be held accountable when their choices cause bodily injury or death to a victim who asked the courts for protection that failed them.
2. The Pattinson Petition: Light of Day Law
Upon the death of Princess Diana, something should have been done to make it illegal for the paparazzi to follow, lie in wait for, harass, takes pictures of, scream at, and otherwise stalk celebrities in public places. But very little was done.
The legal definition of stalking (In part) is as follows:
“Fundamentally, stalking is a series of actions that puts a person in fear for their safety. The stalker may follow you, harass you, call you on the telephone, watch your house, send you mail you don't want, or act in some other way that frightens you.
Virtually any unwanted contact between a stalker and their victim which directly or indirectly communicates a threat or places the victim in fear can generally be referred to as stalking,”
Source: AWARE
Now, we see the same, (if not worse) treatment being thrust upon actor Robert Pattinson. These actions need to be stopped before someone gets hurt or loses their life.
On behalf of Robert Pattinson and other Celebrities who are continuously being harassed and stalked by paparazzi and their massive fan base, We have brought forth this Petition to bring about a change in the harassment and stalking laws.
The continuous following, yelling at, photographing and harassing of celebrities Such as Robert Pattinson by Paparazzi, Along with the fans loitering outside of or on film sets continuously screaming out the names of or insults to celebrities and stalking their every move is what we are trying to stop.
Celebrities are human beings and should be allowed to go out to dinner, go shopping or even to work without being accosted, harassed and stalked along the way by fans and paparazzi. It should be against the law for this to happen. We believe that the ONLY time these actions should be allowed to happen are at Public Events held in "The Light of Day", Scheduled Public Appearances such as news conferences, premieres, and red carpet events etc. Any other time it should be considered stalking with the intent to cause emotional and/or bodily harm. It should be punishable to the full extent of the law.

3. Stop Australian Funded Rape, Torture & Attempted Murder
HARD COPY OF THIS EXACT TEXT CAN BE FOUND AT www.kaURna.webs.com I encourage all Australian residents to download the PDF hardcopy, collect a few signatures (no address needed) and return as per the PDF. There is NO citizenship requirements to sign the hardcopy or electronic petition, however Australia's Parliament won't accept the electronic format, only hardcopy.
Point ONE(1):
The intent to to stop enforced segregation of harms which could take a victim their entire adult life or well over 30 years to progress through the civil courts or otherwise logistically impossible for one person to deal with.
Stalking and assault and torture and surgery without legal authority are all unlawful in Australia, they all carry the potential of lengthy penal sentencing under criminal law, however Australian legislation has one huge loophole that forces a victim of these crimes to prosecute each single incident separately under civil or common law (state) or human rights treaties (federal or High court). That is if you are stalked by say 20 persons and police refuse to investigate each one and each of the 20 individuals assault you in separate incidents you have to prosecute each separately as unconnected events despite evidence that strongly suggests they are connected as one crime. Unlike the treatment of defamation, there is no allowance to deem multiple assaults as one stalking event that generates many incidents.
Point TWO (2):
The intent is to remove the expectation that only an "expert" is be legally entitled to define the existence of a foreign item a radiology film. Presently you must have a signed letter from a medical practitioner to say you have a hatchet poking out of your head if you want it removed, that is to say in the event that you do have a hatchet poking out of your head which you also want removed.
Point THREE(3):
Jane is being stalked by many persons, most are strangers to her or persons she knows but is unaware they are the stalkers. The stalkers have caused Jane to be considerably surgically raped the evidence is in radiology diagnostic film funded by Medicare Australia between 2005 and 2010 inclusive. The film has been falsely interpreted on paper omitting to describe foreign items inside Jane that are very clearly seen in the film. The stalkers have falsely defamed Jane. The question of did the surgical rape of defamation come first is insignificant in the presence of the fact that both are considerably criminal, more so if there was premeditation and where both exist concurrently and begun around the same period of time then clearly there was premeditation.
Point FOUR(4):
The "choice" to investigate or not investigate a crime is removed as an option for a law enforcement official. That Federal police refuse to investigate these crimes against the Commonwealth of Australia then there is clear evidence that police are amongst the stalkers. Police should seen in legislation in a different light from the rest of us insomuch as they should have less room for error as they have more trust. Police should never be allowed to refuse to investigate any crime. It should not be up to police to choose what crime they want to investigate because that leaves individual police department "law enforcement" "public officials" open to be contracted by any third party as tools of stalkers. Under the present system of Australia police governance career criminals must presently be employed as senior police and aspiring cadets and everywhere in-between. Law enforcement officers are not necessarily police officers.
Point FIVE(5):
No land-line telephone number should be allowed to be blocked - as a society of humans who are defined as the superior race on earth because we are able to speak then we MUST all have full confidence in the ability to identify a person we encounter through verbal communication. If someone wants to preserve their telephone privacy they can call on a public phone. In these days of technology awareness rampant identity theft and sophisticated electronic crimes and the expectation that all government public officials must be accountable under statute, public official anonymity is totally unacceptable.
In 2011 just about every commonwealth of Australia department land-line telephone has it's number blocked from the persons they are calling, they expect you to divulge personal information under these circumstances.
4. World Wide Outcry To Stop Gender Violence Against Expatriate Women In Costa Rica
We are asking people from across the world, including key human rights activists, women's rights activists, public intellectuals and citizens groups to support a global petition demanding action from Costa Rican President, Laura Chinchilla.
• August, 2010, 62 year old Patricia Simpson of United Kingdom was burned with cigarettes, had lighter fluid poured on her stomach and private's and set ablaze in her home in Costa Rica. She was left to lay on the floor and denied assistance and medical attention by her landlord and gardener for four days.
• August, September & October 2010, Patricia Simpson repeatedly contacted the local authorities for help and was denied. She attempted to file a formal complaint and police report against this man and was denied.
• November 26, 2010, her friend Steve Bryant took her to the Defensoria de Habitantes in the country's capital where she was allowed to file a complaint against her attackers.
• November 28, 2010, Patricia Simpson's friend, Steve Bryant of Canada reached out to the world via YouTube to ask for assistance to bring this issue to the President of Costa Rica, Laura Chinchilla.
• November 30, 2010, Costa Rica Canal 6 featured the story on the 6pm and 11 pm news to bring awareness to the crime. Once again Patricia Simpson and Steve Bryant asked for assistance in bringing justice against the men who did this. Steve Bryant of Canada raised a fundamental point of principle, which is “how can this 62 year old woman be attacked in this way and receive no police assistance and no help in apprehending the men who did this to her”.
• December 1, 2010, Steve Bryant posted the news story on his youtube channel. The story began to appear on facebook and other social media channels. Three other victims came forth to share their similar stories of being stalked and attacked by the same man.
• December 2, 2010, The website StalkingInCostaRica.com appeared with the aim to bring worldwide attention to the stalking against expatriate women crimes occurring in Costa Rica that are not being prosecuted. Victim Kytka Jezek states that 3 years ago she had a similar occurrence and stalking is not recognized as a crime in Costa Rica. The man implicated is a US Citizen. Her court documents say he is utilizing the lack of law protecting women from this crime to continue to make violent attacks on expatriate women.
5. Tougher Laws/ Legislation for Cyber Stalking, Harrassment, Abuse
Cyber Stalking, Harrassment & Abuse in addition to using the internet for bullying IS a serious crime, and is as harmful if not worse, than if it were done in-person.
The use of social networking sites to cause substantial distress, physical harm, harass & even the loss of life, has become an extreme problem over the years.
Those responsible have no deterrent as the law doesn't protect the victims & therefore their crimes go unpunished.
The Internet and social networking Web sites are being abused and used to form hate groups. People like the creator of this petition are being stalked, harassed, and cyber bullied and the hate grows due to the ease of access of the Internet and the ability to make claims about someone and threaten them by the use of false identities.
Join us in our mission to put an end to the abuse of the Internet and in asking Web sites to put more safeguards in place to control this growing epidemic. Your information will not be made public and will only be shared with the Web sites that are targeted in the petition.

8. The Cyberbullying & Harassment MySpace Law - No Tolerance
CYBERBULLYING & CYBERHARASSMENT :
Consistent threatening or non-threatening, seriously questionable, scandalous in nature statements, injurious to a person's reputation, presented as fact to the public & published by anyone or thing about another individual (or reference to a particular person(s) by description) has long been called, Defamation of Character.
Creating malicious postings/blogs via the interwebs that can spread through bulletin board systems, forums or social networking sites, (especially accusations involving illegal activity, etc.), is a serious form of Cyberbullying & Character Assassination.
Unnecessary verbal assault in public forums can be viewed by a judge not as "opinion", but rather as a clear form of Cyberharassment when persistently published or managed by a user in a social networking community.
------

9. Misuse of Wireless Spy Devices
There is growing problem of unauthorized or covert use advanced high-tech spy devices (cameras, snooping devices, Electromagnetic emission devices, web cams etc.) which track A-Z of any person's activity - speech, writing, bodily movements, computer and web usage (cyber-stalking) etc, even in darkness - from a considerable distance away (from neighboring buildings, distant buildings etc). Use of these devices is becoming a common feature among ordinary people, for criminal purposes, stalking, eavesdropping on other's private activities, computer hacking, vocal conversation, telephone conversation etc - in gross violation of:
1. The Indian Supreme Court ruling on wire-tapping/illegal surveillance
2. IT 2000 law prohibiting computer hacking
These devices are latest advances in technology; making both the Supreme Court ruling as well as the IT law "outdated" in comparison. It is very hard for an ordinary citizen to build evidence for court submission, when confronted by these invisible "covert" monitoring.
10. Amend 18-9-111 Harassment/Stalking Statute
In 1995, the General Assembly strengthened the harrassment/stalking laws with strict penalties including a mandatory prison sentence. They never invisioned this law could be used to arrest and prosecute innocent people on the basis of one person's testimony and no witnesses.
