I contacted the Body Shop Australia to establish a "Body Shop at Home" service. This is a service they provide in other states but not in the Northern Territory. Please show your support and sign this petition to let them know what we think about this.
92. Petition the U.S. Congress to Enact Student Loan Program Reform
As you may or may not know, student loan interest rates have recently dropped to an all-time of low 4.06% (previously 8.25%).
Those of us who opted to consolidate and benefit by having just one monthly payment, ARE NOW BARRED FROM THE NEW LOWER RATES.
Congress will be voting on student loan issues in early 2003! The following is a petition intended to convince congress to pass legislature that would permit ALL student loan borrowers to benefit from lowered rates AT ANY TIME. We should have the freedom to choose to reconsolidate or keep our fixed rate according to what would financially benefit us most. Student Loans are a public service - they should serve us better!

93. Dial-a-ride bus service should support Pine Mountain
In brief the kern regional transit bus department in Kern County CA USA is restricting service to pine mountain club. During the summer they had a pilot service to pine mountain but come winter they closed down. Atop this the dial-a-ride service does not support Pine Mountain. Ultimately there is no public transportation to Pine Mountain in Pine Mountain leaving population who require public transportation "out of luck."
94. Break diplomatic relations with Germany
This petition is to break diplomatic relations with Germany. Germany is threatening Polish and other citizens with compulsory military service in their home countries with method implicit.
95. Allow EchoStar DirectTV Merger
I am writing to you today as a current satellite TV subscriber who would like to add my voice of support to the pending merger of EchoStar and DIRECTV. The combination of these two satellite providers will provide numerous benefits to consumers like me, including more choices in channels, programming, broadband and new television technologies.
By merging, the combined company will be a much stronger competitor to cable television and can offer more programming choices and, most importantly, all local TV channels in every market in the U.S. By providing local TV channels everywhere, this merger will make satellite television a strong alternative to cable in our community. Throughout the country, people will now be able to turn to satellite TV to access their local news, weather and community information, in addition to a comprehensive package of national video programming. But just as exciting, the merger will bring the availability of affordable high-speed Internet service by satellite to over 40 million Americans who don't have high-speed Internet access. These tremendous benefits to consumers won't happen without the merger. Satellite-delivered Internet service will bring an affordable and competitive alternative to cable modems and DSL to consumers in big cities, small towns and rural areas alike. This will give me a competitive choice for Internet access and will be especially advantageous to rural communities where cable modems and DSL are not likely to be available anytime in the near future.
In the interest of improving our access to competitive television and Internet service, I urge you to lend your support to this merger.
96. Excomunicate slave labour in Poland
This petition requests the Roman Catholic Church to excommunicate and condemn compulsory military service as slavery.
A new domain has copied numerous websites and must be stopped.
We, the following, are angry and disgusted with the behavior of a new domain, Mocha-Twist.net. She has violated the terms of service for numerous websites and has outright stolen material as her own. We ask Endore to shut down her domain.
98. Blood Services Royal Commission Needed
We, the undersigned, request a Royal Commission of Inquiry into Australia's Blood Service management. In the past, thousands of Australians have suffered serious disease, and a significant number have died due to tainted blood transfusions and blood products. Disease and death continue to occur as a result of the therapeutic use of blood. Australians affected by tainted blood products have a right to know why their blood services failed them. A Royal Commission of Inquiry will also help bring about safer blood transfusions and blood products for all Australians in the future.
99. Stop Comcast from imposing Downloading Caps
Greedy cable ISPs have begun instituting plans to charge for gigabytes downloaded. Comcast, a major cable ISP in the US, has hinted that they are soon to adopt such a system. Users of Comcast have already faced crippling upload and download speed caps, capping the _amount_ of data you download/upload is next. This bait and switch attitude Comcast is exhibiting has to stop.

100. Ban Polish scientists to enter USA
This petition is to ban Polish scientists, employees of Institutes and Universities to enter the United States.
Polish Universities are activly invgilating their students for the military to extord military service on enlists level.
101. Expel Greece from European Union
This petition is to expel Greece from the European Union. Greece is violating European Citizenship Convention forcing its citizens abroad to military service and denying Greek citizens right to Greek passport when applying for foreign citizenship.
This is unacceptable a day before expansion of the European Union and could create the precedence for similar situation in Poland and other new members of European Union.
The Greek citizens in the USA, mainly army enlists, are suspected to force citizens of Eastern European countries to military service in their country and block legal immigration.

105. Noble mansion residents want common satellite dish

110. Hepatitis C Public Service Announcements & Warning Labels on Razors & Toothbrushes
Hepatitis C is an incurable, non-preventable blood-borne virus which damages the liver. It can be fatal in almost 85% of infected persons, most from cirrhosis, others from liver cancer and autoimmune disease.
The many people who are infected are not sick, or are unaware that they even have it until, for instance, they donate blood. Some people have had it for 25 years.
Infection can not only be passed by blood transfusions or by sharing needles but, ALSO, by sharing razors, toothbrushes, or nail clippers, from nail salons, barber shops, and tattoo/piercing parlors.
During the Vietnam Era, military persons were vaccinated in assembly line fashion. It is now being debated whether or not the government should be responsible for testing, medicating, and counseling all Veterans.
Most people associate Hepatitis with IV drug use, unsafe and promiscuous sex, or by drinking unclean water. (It is extremely rare that Hepatitis C is passed on by sex).
The public needs to know ALL the facts.
Did you know that nearly 5 times as many people are infected with Hepatitis C than those infected with AIDS/HIV? And that experts believe that, this year, 9 million, in the U.S. alone are unaware that they are infected?
This petition asks that public service announcements be frequently heard and that the announcements should NOT only be targeted at blood transfusion recipients, IV drug users, or AIDS/HIV victims, but, to all Veterans and, ALSO, to the "Average Joe", who might share a razor with their spouse.
How many husbands shave their pregnant wive's legs because she cannot reach her ankles? How many teenagers decide to shave for the first time, using Dad or Mom's razor, unsuspecting that the razor may be contaminated by blood of a parent who, unknowingly, has been infected for at least 25 years?
The facts need to be heard about this epidemic.
111. Bring TechTV Back To Toms River
In the October cable bills, Comcast sent out a notice. Changes to the channel lineup were coming. Among them, TechTV would be removed on December 31, 2001 to make room for The Inspiration Network. Calls to Comcast were fruitless, they did not want to listen to their customers, and on December 27, 2001 (four days early), TechTV was removed from the Toms River lineup.

112. Help is needed in Pakistan.
We are serving Pakistan by our ngo THE CHAIN (Community help and intermix network) for the last two years.
We are fighting to unroot drugs cultivation and their use, pollution of environment, Illiteracy, sexual abuse to the women and children and their smuggling, Bounded labor, karo Kari (killing of women and man on illicit relation charge 98% are fake incident and only committed for revenge or acquiring land or money etc.), helping homeless, orphans, building vocational centers and preventing aids etc.
Our on going projects such as establishing minimum two medical centers in Pakistan especially for drugs addicts it is learned that 40 to 50 hundred thousands out of the 150 million population are heroine and other drugs addicts, establishing more vocational centers and upgrading of them, at this time our 25 vocational centers serving education, sewing, typing, computer education etc. on free basis.
Orphans in huge numbers are living on footpaths and grounds and in many cases they become drugs addict or drug peddler easily. If we succeeded in establishing orphanages we will provide them education vocational training too.
To the homeless people the negotiation for acquiring land are in final position. We urge to acquire land for home less people and distribute it among them free of charge and if circumstances allow us then we consider building them too.
We also eager to build orphanages in Pakistan. In this respect we are trying to acquire land for this purpose, at this time we are co-operating with other orphanages in every concern .
By our efforts the 70 families of Thar, Bahawal Pore, and Othal etc. take breath of freedom; these families are in the prison of local landlords from years. The bounded labor in Pakistan is also a big issue.
Recently flood in Rawal Pindi, Islam Abad, Dadar; Mansehra etc took at least 400 lives and living thousands injured. Millions of property destroyed. People are poor and they can't reconstruct their houses. We have provided with them, as we are able to do so. There is more need of rehabilitation work, there is need of tents, electric stoves, food articles, medicines, blankets etc. the winter start there by end of august and in some areas in first week of September in these flood affected northern areas. The river Indus is now in full swing due to continuous rain, it is moon soon (Rainy) season in theses areas. The lower send and these areas and other near by suspected another flood. So the army, police, administration and our volunteers are busying to vacate these endanger areas.
Our this year projects cost at least US$18 hundred thousands dollars or 150 million Pakistani rupees. Please help us to serve the humanity in better way.
Remember that service of mankind is the service of God. And that charity never dies.

113. Unban Marke Smithers from the Tholuxe Paells server
This is a petition to get Marke Smithers unbanned from the Tholuxe Paells server. It is the opinion of the undersigned persons, who are represented by their character names, that Marke Smithers should not have been banned. While we acknowledge Marke did make a mistake by swearing in a public channel, we believe it was heavy handed and unnecessary to ban his account. Furthermore, it is believed that previous warnings registered against his account (in particular for disruption at a Best of the Best tournament) were overreactions on the part of customer service staff. Marke has contributed a lot to the Tholuxe Paells server, and the server is a worse place without him. Please review his file, and unban Marke Smithers.
114. A Time For Change
Disabled persons in Newfoundland & Labrador have come under recent attack via Health and Community Services, whereby long term established care has been tested and tried by appointed Community Health Boards which lack educated and experienced personnel in being able to make proper judgment calls in often life threatening medical situations.
These boards are without specific direction or education on the need of individual clients and situations have arisen where disabled individuals have been left helpless and alone to provide for themselves.
Assessments previously conducted on clients with programs and services in effect as a result of these assessments have in many cases been privy to the discretion of front line workers, whereby irrational decisions have been made, and negatively affecting client services. Clients with sever and life altering disabilities are now being placed in unfair predicaments and many are taking ill.
Hospitalization of various individuals with severe disability requires specifically trained and experienced individuals to care for the patient. In all cases if this is a requirement of clients under the umbrella of Health and Community Services, then funding is channeled to the client for the purpose of employing these client supports. If however a client is hospitalized for more than 72 hours he/she will lose both funding and supportive service of the employee. This often puts grave detriment on the patient as most hospital staff are generally trained and have no experience in disease specific disability.
Persons with such osteo disease are now at severe risk of injury. This has to change.
115. Equal Selective Service Registration
Since its beginnings the selective service registration has been sexually discriminatory, requiring that only males register. It's time for equality, for both men and women to serve in combat side by side and register equally or have the entire process dissolved.
116. Stop the FBI from reading your email
The latest and most disturbing threat to privacy is the FBI's latest toy "Carnivore". Carnivore is an eavesdropping device that devours private e-mail and spits out interesting parts for scrutiny. The FBI already has attached Carnivore to the e-mail hardware at some Internet service providers. Though it won't say where. Carnivore is intended to rifle through potential criminals' Internet traffic after police obtain a court order. But the tool gives the FBI the ability to track not just the individual named in the court order, but also everyone who uses the same server at the Internet service provider. This program brings to a peak government attempts to control Internet users. This petition will be sent to the Attorney General Janet Reno and hopefully increase pubic awareness that big brother can now read your e-mail's.
