1. Sponsored move to another country if Romney Wins

People of the American Public deserve the right to be cared about, by their leader and their government. ALL and not 47% left behind.

Those who feel they have the qualifications that would contribute to a country willing to provide sponsored moves should sign. Many American citizens do not want to contribute to the Romney/Ryan policies and campaign.

2. Support the use of The Model of Restoritive Justice for Ryan Friebolin

Ryan got into trouble at a young age following his parents divorce. Essentially he has spent 8 years of his life in prison. Ryan has not committed such crimes that would amount to him spending a third of his life in prison. Attached are documents of the crime's he committed as a juvenile at age 16 which he was sentenced as an adult to fifteen years for and it has since haunted him and his family. I would recommend visiting:

Ryan was at a party at a friends house where he was accused of stealing several pieces of jewellery, later on when the friends's aunt came home. How can something like this happen this is a constitutional rights violation, why should a 15 year old sit in prison with murderers and rapists, for this crime. Should the punishment not fit the crime? It is scary to think that something like this can happen to our children that they can just be taken away so easily. Please join me not just for Ryan but people like Ryan in hopes to right what is systematically wrong. I am asking for your support in this petition to urge the Parole board of Wisconsin to reinstate Ryan Friebolin's parole so that he can have a civilized chance of fighting against what has occurred throught his young life. We should all be free from cruel and unusual punishment under Eight Amendment of The Constitution.

My friends I am not asking that Ryan not repay for what he has done, I am asking has he not already paid? His youth taken from him. It is time for him to be free now. The sites listed below are links to actual court documents and other correspondence. There is also a link that will lead you to a government website explaining with detailed documentation exactly what the Model for Restorative Justice seeks to accomplish and how.

...new links coming soon.

3. RyanDan

In December 2007 RyanDan released their debute album in Germany. The release was all over Europe and the album entered the charts successfully in some European countries. However, the success was only in those countries where the guys did a lot of promotion like TV shows, radio Interviews, advertising etc.!

In the UK the album was the highest new entry on #7 and in HongKong the climbed up to #4. In Germany the record label UNIVERSAL just let them do 2 tv shows and then they were wondering that the album doesn´t find a brisk demand like expected.

"IT DOESN`T WONDER" thought the fans, which were waiting impatiently on more RyanDan and still do. With only 2 tv shows and less promotion NO album can be sell successful. In their native Canada the album entered the charts on high position as well and actually reached GOLD! The album will be released in the US in April and they will do a lot of promotion over there.

If there would be some more engagement from UNIVERSAL and much more tv/radio appearances, signings etc. in Europe, the media would scramble to get these strong-voiced vocalists.

The debute album is just stunning and everyone who has the chance to see and hear these 28 year old identical twins from Canada live, will be overwhelmed that REAL talent still exists in this business!

RyanDan do have the potential to become real world-famous and Germany, as one of the most important countries in the music business, of course isn´t that insubstantially.
To reach this status, UNIVERSAL should wake up and wonder to get the guys back to Europe. Because even UNIVERSAL can make tons of money with them!!

Despite none promotion from the label, but solely with the engagement of the fans in all kinds of social networks (myspace, bebo, facebook, iLike, trig,...) the following and the demand is growing day by day. But without the support from the own record label, RyanDan will never get the success they really deserve!!

4. Al Davis needs to retire

Al Davis began as a coach of our beloved Raiders and in time became the owner. He has done incredible things with our team, to include winning two Super Bowls and producing many memorable moments.

Time has moved on and the Raiders have been stuck in a holding pattern. We need to have change within our team and that begins by allowing our current coach to do exactly what needs to be done. We have watched for over two decades now as Al Davis has been way too involved in the day to day operation of the team. Even Al Davis admitted he was far too intrusive with the termination of Art Shell, a great coach.

Al Davis needs to stop interfering in the operation of the team and allow all personnel, operation and staffing decisions. If the head coach needs to change the defensive coordinator, then let him do it.

5. Petition to Save Lincoln-Sudbury

Two of the four candidates running for School Committee are proposing reactionary schemes to manage L-S.
Their suggestions are entirely contrary to the spirit of L-S, and their election might very well have a dramatic negative impact on the day to day management life at our school.

One of these candidate is Douglas Zingale, who believes, "Urgency is not being demonstrated and needs to be demonstrated." In his view, "Specific actions should be taken now including making sure the people responsible for not bringing this to people’s attention are removed from the decision making at the school.""

In other words, Douglas Zingale is running for school committee with preconcieved notions of who should be fired. This is his view despite the amazing job done by the L-S faculty on January 19th and the fact that there is a committee already established to look into the tragedy to see if anyone SHOULD be held responsible.

The second candidate, Kevin Matthews "said there is a lack of accountability at L-S, some of which stems from the school committee giving Superintendent/Principal John Ritchie a rubber stamp for many policies" (Sudbury Town Crier March 15th). He went on to say that he is "also for increasing measures at L-S. There’s a lot of technology we can use." According to the Town Crier, "His suggestions include smart cards to give students access to the building and installing video cameras throughout the campus"

The Town Crier also quoted Matthews as saying, "These are procedures that are very common on a college campus. I don’t see any reason why we can’t implement them at L-S."

To summarize, Matthews is showing great opposition to our amazing superintendent Dr Ritchie's policies in running the school and wants to introduce "smart cards" and video cameras in L-S. He is the candidate advocating the most dramatic changes despite the fact that he is the one candidate who has not had a child who has been in Lincoln-Sudbury RHS yet.

The two other candidates are Radha Gargeya and Jack Ryan, both of whom have pledged to respect the unique culture of Lincoln Sudbury.

6. RENEW the Ryan-White CARE Act

February 07, 2006

Congress,

African-Americans make up 12.3% of the population but account for 42% of estimated AIDS cases.

This petition was created with the express purpose of getting the community involved in the renewal of the CARE Act. The renewal of the CARE Act would provide funding to organizations that:

Provide much needed medication to HIV/AIDS patients (which would eliminate long waiting lists)

Educate the African-American community about the importance of knowing their HIV/AIDS status (which would decrease the rapid spread of the virus in the community)

Work with churches to educate their congregations about the importance of choosing to make this community problem a conquerable challenge (which would eliminate the negative social stigma attached to HIV/AIDS in the African-American community)

It is time to let our state representatives in the House and the Senate know that the spread of HIV/AIDS in the African-American community is disproportionate and that the renewal of the CARE Act is essential to the survival and well-being of the community.

Sincerely,

Young Professionals Network
The Northern Virginia Urban League

7. Yale providers against Ryan White cuts

The White House has sent memos to key service agencies, including those funding Ryan White Care Act programs, indicating dramatic cuts to 2006 budget appropriations (see, e.g.: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A58762-2004May26.html ).

The Yale AIDS Network is asking Yale providers to sign the following letter, indicating opposition to cuts in the Ryan White Care Act, which will be sent to Connecticut legislators in Washington D.C. on July 4, 2004.

--

Dear Connecticut Legislator:

As people working directly with those living with HIV/AIDS in Connecticut, we are writing to tell you of the importance of programs that are funded by the Ryan White Care Act.

Each day, patients come to our offices in need of help with housing, medical bills, medication access problems, mental health issues, and food and nutritional needs. Without the RWCA, these people would have little or no resources to survive. Each dollar of the RWCA makes an important impact on the lives of those with HIV/AIDS here in Connecticut.

We are concerned by recent news stories indicating that White House memos have already instructed RWCA administrators to expect drastic cuts in next year's budget (Weisman, J. 2006 Cuts In Domestic Spending On Table. The Washington Post, 27 May 2004, Page A1). This would produce a devastating reduction in services for those with HIV/AIDS, directly resulting in immense suffering and mortality among our patients. A cut in RWCA funds would work to reverse so much of the progress we have made in reducing death tolls from HIV in our state.
