61. War Against Racism in Australia 
Riots in Cronulla have sparked concern that there is an underlying amount of racism in Australia and recently at the Perth cricket test between Australia and South Africa, South African had racist taunts thrown at them by the crowd.
This racism must stop and must stop NOW!
Star and Timothy Joseph, self proclaimed, Original Haters of the Star and Buc Wild radio show, which is broadcast on multiple stations nationally, has downgraded radio talk since their arrival in early 2000.
Their attempts to capitalize on degrading, racial commentary are not acceptable or entertaining. Our citizens are not niggers, crackers or wetbacks and we should not have to tolerate being classified as niggahs, bitches, hoes, or poor white trash.
The lots of us are diverse, upstanding, intelligent, respectful citizens who are trying to cultivate, unify and elevate our nation as a whole. At 6:00 am when our young scholars are heading to school, Star and Buc Wild are polluting the air waves in an attempt to signify that it is ok to classify people in racial stereotypes and degrade women of all backgrounds.
The message needs to be sent out that no matter what your ethnic background is racism is not acceptable.
63. Extinguish Racist Sign in GA
This petition is being started to persuade District Attorney, Drew Lane, AND/OR the NAACP AND/OR other public officials, to take action against a racial sign located outside a resturaunt in Paulding County, GA.
The sign is a public display of hate, and an infringement upon the rights of all Americans to live free of predjudice and malice. It is also a direct Slander of Mr. Michael Jackson.
The owner of the resturaunt has the right to have his beliefs, but not to force those beliefs upon others, causing injury.
The sign is racist, hateful, and disrespectful, not only to the African American community, but to all of us who cherish equity and unity in our one human race. In addition to that, the sign is also a direct slander of Mr. Michael Jackson. No American should have to feel offended, or threatened as they travel through, or within, your county.
64. Slavery Glorified on Huge Mural at US Post Office in Linden, Texas
A Symbol of Pain and Ignorance: Take Down the Linden Post Office Mural!
The mural in Linden's Post Office vividly depicts barefoot slaves picking cotton. Although many believe this is a part of area history, the presence of the mural is offensive and insensitive to African Americans and only serves as an unneeded reminder of our painful past.
The painting is not appropriate for a federal instituion supported by tax payer's dollars, and if left in place it will only continue to instill and glorify negative attitudes toward African-Americans.
Take action against the continuation of ignorance by signing your name below in favor of the removal of the post office mural.

66. Abolish Affirmative Action in South Africa !
Stop the ongoing discrimination against white South Africans. Affirmative action is a direct form of racism, causing unemployment, disillusionment and a new generation of hate and resentment amongst young whites. This monster called Affirmative Action will never be the solution that South Africa needs, rather the problem.
John "Bradshaw" Layfield is a racist. Any respectable company would have fired him by now for the racist comments he makes.
68. Stop Disguise.com From Spreading Racism
We, the undersigned, are shocked and disgusted by the sheer audacity of manufacturer Disguise in releasing their new "Kung-Fool" costume for Halloween.
The costume consists of a black and white (Japanese) kimono, belt, vinyl half-cap, and rubber mask -- a buck-toothed, squinty-eyed caricature donning a headband with the Chinese character for "loser" inscribed. Until yesterday, the company's website ran the following description for the costume: Hiiiiiiiyaaaaa! Become a master of martial arts over night, orÂ… wellÂ… maybe not, but have fun wearing the Disguise Kung Fool costume!
Certainly, this type of overt racism, passed off half-heartingly as "humor," is familiar to many Asians. Six months ago, clothing manufacturer Abercrombie and Fitch tried to push their "Wong Brothers Laundry Service" onto young adults and teens, claiming the shirts were "cheeky, irreverent, funny." Unfortunately, they actively chose to overlook that such depictions are blantantly offensive to many who've had to endure them, and indeed, have been used consistently and historically to marginalize an entire community.
More insidious this time, however, is the current attempt to perpetuate racist thought amongst children. While many of Disguise's costumes offer model cartoon heros, fictional characters and even infamous celebrities, no other costume singles out for ridicule a community like "Kung-Fool."
Therefore, we have formed this petition to articulate our growing frustration and impatience with corporate America's persistence in capitalizing on racism; to communicate unequivocally that Asian customers will not tolerate the spread of intolerant thought to children; and finally, to demand that Disguise issue an official apology and remove the Kung-Fool costume immediately from it's 20,000 retailers nationwide.

Appeal for International petitions and solidarity.
We, Kashmiri and Pakistani workers at Baltic star are experiencing racism and discrimination at the Boat which has been plying the rout between Stockholm and Mariehamn for the last 30 years. We are being super-exploited by the Boat management which has put us on a work scheme that is practically destroying our health irreversably. We are treated differently from Swedish workers at the Boat who have off duty between their schedules and who are also allowed pauses during working hours.
We are on a work scheme designed to make us work seven days a week, thirty days a month for three consecutive months without a pause. During this period, we are subjected to backbreaking menial jobs for 10.6 hours, working 5.3 hours without any pause. This is in violation of Swedish labour laws that stipulate that we are entitled to 15 minutes rest after every two hours of work (see attached press release).
We are appealing for urgent International help and solidarity. We are asking workers around the world, Trade Unions, political parties, anti-racist organisations, student and youth groups, activists, Internationalists and sympathisers to help us put pressure on the Baltic Boat management to follow Swedish and International labour laws and stop destroying our health through an impossible work routine. Our main demands are as follows:
A two week break after every two weeks of work like other Swedish workers.
A 15 minute break after every two hours of work in accordance with Swedish labour laws.
An immediate end to racism and discrimination at the boat by being treated like other Swedish workers doing similar jobs like us.
A Swedish Work Permit once the Boat acquires a Swedish flag.

72. Demand a Diversity Requirement at UCLA
The struggle for a Diversity Requirement at UCLA is over 16 years long. Every UC campus except UCLA has some form of a Diversity Requirement. A Diversity Requirement would help to address racism, sexism, homophobia, and classism - especially in a growingly diverse and global world.
