1. Fair Parking Policies in Park Ward, Reading 
Park Ward is an area of Victorian Housing, where the streets are narrow and the demand for parking high. There are a mixture of families, single people and students living in the area and many households own
more than one car.
As a result of this residents are forced, if they want to park near to their homes later in the evening, to park on corners, on curbs and on yellow lines as there is simply nowhere else to park.
This results in residents receive parking tickets, sometimes twice in one night when the Parking Wardens patrol both late at night and early in the morning.
2. Keep Newtown Family Safe & Animal Friendly
We created this petition because Newtown is facing the possibility of deer culling in our community. Deer culls are not the same as hunting. Culls are town sanctioned deer kills. They involve costly, multi-year, inhumane programs that are neither effective, safe, NOR science-based. They involve baiting and then shooting a large number of deer within the town, year after year, within bullet or arrow range of residents in Newtown.
To date, there is NO scientific evidence from the other towns in Fairfield County that have instituted deer culls that they have had any measurable effect on reducing tick borne diseases in their communities.
It's time to look at the facts and the science. Newtown must not blindly follow the other towns that have instituted deer culls because they simply don't work.
3. The Format Myspace Secret Shows
The Format are playing a bare 3 shows in Australia for their first time down under.
Basically, there's a whole week between the Sydney show and the Perth show and a great opportunity to play a second Sydney show on the Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday following the Sydney Soundwave festival.
