The Honorable Benazir Bhutto - twice elected Prime Minister of Pakistan, first woman ever elected head of a nation in the Muslim world and the Chairperson of Pakistan’s largest grassroots’ political party “Pakistan Peoples Party” (AKA-PPP) was mysteriously and savagely assassinated after her addressing a huge public rally in “Liaqat Park” Rawal-Pindi (Pakistan) at 4.16 p.m. on December 27, 2007 standing through the sunroof of her armored land-cruiser License No- BF-7772 waving to the cheering crowed.
Benazir Bhutto was undoubtedly a peoples' princess, she loved people and people loved her. She had a strong conviction in democracy, rule of law and supremacy of constitution. She was much larger than life and a charismatic icon loved by millions around the globe. All her life she struggled and fought for the rights of poor masses of Pakistan, for equal opportunity, social and economic justice, hope and a secure future. She was a passionate Advocate and an avid preacher of Islamic cherished values of tolerance, compassion, universal brotherhood and love.
She spoke with courage, resolve and determination against injustice, extremism, terror and fanaticism. Feudal lords, extremists and political mafia in Pakistan did not like her liberating the people from poverty and ignorance and her popularity was potential threat to the ruling party and hate mongers who took her life.

3. 2M : LA CHAINE BERBEROPHOBE
Depuis sa création, la chaîne 2M ne cesse de provoquer une partie non négligeable de la population marocaine.
Bien que majoritaires au Maroc, les Berbères sont réduit à la portion congrue par les dirigeants de la chaîne 2M qui les ignorent superbement, et les réduit quant ils daignent parler d’eux au folklore et à l’archaïsme.
Se voulant une chaîne moderne et ouverte (sic !) ; l’identité, la culture et la civilisation berbère ne sont visiblement pas compatibles avec ces valeurs de modernité et d’universalité. Ainsi l’ont décrétés les dirigeants de cette chaîne.
Un pas supplémentaires dans le mépris et la provocation a été franchie récemment dans le cadre le l’émission « Star Academy » ; où seuls les artistes d’expression arabe ont le droit de s’exprimer. La langue berbère, elle n’est apparemment pas une langue moraine, elle n’est même pas une langue étrangère puisque même ces derniers ont le droit de citée.
Pour qu’un berbère ai le droit de chanter il faut impérativement qu’il change en arabe ou même dans une langue occidentale, langues considérées comme « nobles » par les dirigeants de cette chaîne, contrairement à la langue berbère considérée comme « non noble » pour ne pas dire « ignoble ».
Ce sectarisme et ce racisme anti-berbère devient de plus en plus insupportable.
Les Berbérophones n’en peuvent plus et en ont assez de ces irresponsables qui quotidiennement insultent et provoquent des millions d’individus réduit à des citoyens de seconde catégorie.

6. Get Kelly Clarkson on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine
Kelly Clarkson not only won the hearts of millions when she won the first season of the hit TV show American Idol but she has managed to turn her TV fame into a successful career in the music industry.
Kelly's first single from Idol "A Moment Like This", released in 2002, managed to hit #1 on the US and Canadian charts. Kelly followed up her "A Moment Like This" success with her first album, Thankful. Thankful, when released in 2003, hit #1 on the US charts and sent out three popular singles "Miss Independent", "Low", and "The Trouble With Love Is".
To date Thankful has gone double platinum and sold 2.2 million copies. Kelly's second studio album, Breakaway, has done even better. Since it's release in November of 2004 the album has had three smash singles. "Breakaway", which debuted on the Princess Diaries two soundtrack, has hit #1 on the American Top 40 chart. Breakaway's second single "Since U Been Gone" hit #1 on the Adult Contemporary charts and has managed to hit #6 on the UK charts.
The newest single "Behind These Hazel Eyes" peaked at #6 on the American single charts. Breakaway has become one of the top five albums of 2005 and has to date gone triple platinum and sold more than 2.6 millions copies.
Kelly also holds the record of being the first solo artist to hold #1 positions on two US Billboard charts simultaneously with two different singles. Not only has Clarkson managed to gain American fame she also recently released Breakaway overseas in the United Kingdom where it hit #7 on the midweek flashes.
Kelly has accomplished a lot since her Idol win back in 2002, that is why we (the people below) believe she should be allowed to grace the cover of Rolling Stone.
7. Make Global Trade Fair - time to be fair to poor countries!
Millions of impoverished farmers are being exploited on a daily basis by major coffee roasting companies. These companies pay minimum prices for coffee beans grown yet post large profits annually. This petition is asking the major coffee roasters to Make Trade Fair by paying the coffee farmers more for their coffee beans so they can afford to support their families, send their children to school and receive adequate health care.
8. No Respect, No Relationship

This petition of certain citizens of Australia condemns the Howard Government for refusing to run the anti-violence campaign "No Respect No Relationship" that was designed to educate young people that violence in relationships is wrong and must be stopped.
Your petitioners ask the House to ensure that the Government releases the campaign material that was developed over the last 2 years at a cost of millions of dollars to taxpayers so that it can be used by others in
the community to send a strong message to young people.

Many people didn't seem to like the replacement of Kutumb with Kahini Terri Meri, another Balaji Production on Sony Entertainment Television Asia, so Sony took it off air, due to the low TRP ratings. Apparently Ekta Kapoor, the creater of Kutumb, KKusum, Kahini Terri Meri etc... is now thinking of ending KKusum as well late this year.
10. STRONGER RENT LAWS IN NEW YORK NOW!
The New York State Rent laws were weakened in 1997, giving landlords loopholes and incentives to destroy affordable housing across the state (and particularly in NYC)at an unprecedented rate. It is estimated that there will be no rent-regulated apartments in NYC (read: affordable to all but the upper-middle class, no tenants' rights whatsoever) within 10-15 years under the current Rent Laws. The laws come up for renewal this June. If they are not strengthened NY State residents will continue to be displaced, evicted and face higher rents, living at the mercy of the Reals Estate market. Housing is a human right. Please tell the NY State Government that New York City and State should remain an economically diverse place that puts people before profits!

$1,000,000 A BOMB - the US can bomb Afghanstan for a week solid but it can't feed its homless or prevent rape from happening several thousands of times a day.

STREET VIOLENCE - is at an all time high, and the suicide rate has sky rocketed.
CURE FOR CANCER - My city has built a new cancer research center employing over 1000 people. Cancer creates jobs, crime creates jobs, drugs create jobs - the government wants jobs, not a cure.
SEASONS COLLIDING - It's called THE GREENHOUSE EFFECT caused by mankind. If the angels were here they would be disgusted. (They are, and they are).
TECHNOLOGY HALTED - A teleporter would render millions jobless in the transport industry. Cloned food could help billions but it would also render millions jobless in the food industry. We invoked light, lets at least use it right - but the government wants money, not progress.
