1. Save the Mexican dogs

Several people have been attacked in Mexico, including a one-year-old child and a teenage girl, and stray dogs are being blamed for these attacks. However, there is not that much true evidence that the dogs actually are responsible.

They were tested for rabies, but the results were negative. They were also tested for traces of human DNA, but the results have not come back yet.
The dogs are all, apparently, very scared at the moment. Although it is likely that others of the same species may have been responsible for the attacks, it is unlikely that these dogs are the true killers.

However, some people still think that they were responsible and they are at risk of being put on death row. The killing of these animals is probably not necessary, so why should it be done, especially when there is so little evidence that they are responsible?

2. Pass the Horse Slaughter Protection Act

While the slaughterhouses in the United States have recently been closed, horses are still being slaughtered– they are merely being shipped across the border to Canada and Mexico, where they meet horrific ends.

In Mexico, for example, horses are repeatedly stabbed by “puntilla” knives until they bleed to death. These are not horses who are bred for meat, but horses who could have been a little girl’s best friend until purchased by a killer buyer at an auction.

In 2012, Obama signed an Appropriations Bill that would once again pave the way for slaughterhouses to operate in the United States again. Not withstanding the enormous environmental, legal and other concerns that a slaughterhouse brings to a town, the suffering of the horses who are sent to these plants is astronomical. They are sometimes put into trailers and left for days without water, then half-crazed, they are violently prodded into the slaughterhouse, where they are supposed to be killed by a captive bolt. Unfortunately, the horses are so scared that these bolts sometimes go into the horses’ eyes and the horse is struck again and again until stunned. It is not uncommon for a horse not to be killed by the captive bolt, but only stunned, so that they are actually alive while being vivisected.

Considering how horses are treated to the kill pens and how they are killed, here is no possible way that slaughter can ever be considered humane euthanasia.

3. Demand an Investigation of Mexico's 2012 Presidential Election / Demandamos una investigacion a las elecciones presidenciales de Mexico 2012

On July 1, 2012, Mexican citizens voted for their next president.

Unfortunately, the process was plagued with voter fraud which included people being turned away from voting precincts, discrepancies between the numbers reported by the voting precincts and the numbers reported on the official web page of IFE (The institution in charge of supposedly ensuring fair democratic elections), and buying of votes.

This can be easily proven by going to youtube.com and browsing "fraude electoral 2012" or similar search terms. Also on several facebook posts and twitter.

We as citizens of this great nation must demand that democracy is respected not only in our nation but throughout the world.

----------------------------------------------------------

7. Life without the possibility of parole for Stephanie Lopez!

The story of Baby Brianna is a hard one, but it is the ugly reality of child abuse. Violent family members caused her death while others hid what they knew was going on.

"They raped her; they beat her," said District Attorney Susana Martinez who prosecuted the case. "She had bite marks on her face, cheek, head, arms, legs, chest, torso, everywhere.

"Literally bruised from head to toe, from the top of her head all throughout her body all the way to the big toe on her right foot."

She was beaten and raped by her own family.

"Massive bruising on the head, and then her little fingers were lacerated. Her mother Stephanie Lopez only received 27 years for the death of her own daughter! They say she is living a great life behind bars with family keeping her lots of money in her account and having a great girlfriend that she gets to be with daily! Why should she get to live any kind of life while Brianna does not have one. She will still be young when she gets out and I think she should be behind bars and have nothing for the rest of her life just like Brianna had nothing in her 5 short months of life!

QUEREMOS PAZ!

12. ItsOneHumanity - Climate Justice at UNFCCC

Ensuring environmental sustainability is now a crucial issue on the global political agenda. Part of what makes it so important is the fact that climate change is truly a global issue, we now understand that everyone will be affected by climate change.

Yet, when countries came together in Copenhagen in late 2009 to determine what they were going to do post-Kyoto Protocol (after 2012), they failed to cooperate and work together to ensure environmental sustainability for all, and thus, no proper deal came out of the COP15 conference. Nation states failed to achieve a deal that is ambitious, fair, and legally-binding to ensure a future for humanity as a whole.

Our next take towards a global climate deal will be COP16, which is to take place in December 2010 in Cancun, Mexico.

This time, ItsOneHumanity aims to send a resounding message to the world leaders who will participate in the negotiations of COP16 and to those to follow under the UNFCCC process.

We want to raise voices of world citizens in order to remind world leaders that we are all in this together... that there is only one planet and only one humanity. We want them to approach the negotiation table thinking not “what I am going to lose in this, how should I protect my national interests?” but rather “how can I cooperate and fulfill my global responsibilities as a nation state?”

In order to do that, we need your help. Go and sign the petition and share it as much as you can so that we can have the greatest impact. Become an ambassador for humanity and spark a revolution! Remind the world that we have to act now.

... Because it’s one humanity.

13. Boycott "Los Suns"

In order to apply for an Arizona Drivers License (or any State) for the first time, i.e., if under 18 you must have two forms of identification such as a birth certificate and a social security card.

If a person is not a citizen of the U.S. they must have a Green Card, which is based upon a foreign certificate of birth. A person’s valid Green Card also means that he or she is registered in the U.S. in accordance with United States immigration law.

J.D. Hayworth, the Arizona conservative challenging Sen. John McCain in the Republican Senate primary, wants an apology from the general manager of the Phoenix Suns over his remarks about Arizona's new immigration law which requires a Green Card for legal immigrants or permanent residents.

"For [Suns General Manager] Steve Kerr to make comparisons with this law (S.B. 1070 & H.B. 2162) with Nazi Germany is beyond the pale," Hayworth said, Arizona radio station KTAR reports. "He should apologize, that has no basis in fact."

The Phoenix Suns basketball team wore their "Los Suns" jerseys during Game 2 (May 5th) of the NBA Western Conference semifinals to show solidarity with anarchical groups protesting Arizona's new immigration law.

Over 70% of Arizona legal citizens and over 60% of all Americans support the concept of ensuring that anyone entering the U.S. be a legal entrant. 10 more States are now considering legislation based upon Arizona S.B. 1070 & H.B. 2162.

Arizona citizens are in fear for their lives, property and economic security. The annual cost of illegal aliens living in Arizona and populating our prisons is about $2 BILLION.

Drug Cartels cross our southern border with a machine gun-mounted vehicle in the lead; paramilitary troops behind that; the illegal drugs, and then a rear guard of more paramilitary troops. They kill anyone in their way.

Ranchers and landowners report that 100 to 300 illegal aliens cross their land several times a week leaving a trail of environmental devastation.

Human Smugglers escorting illegal aliens often rape the women and kill any of the illegals that cause trouble. Phoenix is the nation's #1 city for kidnapping, and most all involved in this are illegal aliens and the criminals that ransom or kill the subjects of these crimes.

Arizona Director of State Education, Tom Horne has documented that La Raza (The Race in Spanish) / MEChA has infested many schools to replace social studies with their curriculum. MEChA is an Hispanic separatist organization that encourages anti-American activities and civil disobedience. The radical members of MEChA who refer to themselves as "Mechistas," romanticize Mexican claims to the "lost Territories" of the Southwestern United States -- a Chicano country called Aztlan.

Tucson, AZ is a sanctuary city with the outcome being that there are 5,000 gang members in over 100 gangs, a majority being illegal aliens, that are ravaging homeowners with break-ins, theft, robberies, stolen cars and personal assaults.

14. Allow the crew and cast of 'La Casa Rosa' to realize their 2010 theatre tour of the USA

On March 8 the group Soame Citlalime of Tetlanohcan, Mexico went to the US embassy in Mexico City to apply for a temporary visitor’s visa to present their original play “La Casa Rosa” as part of their “Families Without Borders” tour, which was sponsored by educational institutions, cultural organizations and theaters in New York and Connecticut.

The play is the result of a year of political organizing by the citizens of this small village and sends a powerful message about confronting the forces at work in their community and the steps we all need to take in finally ending undocumented migration to the United States.

Despite ample documentation of the project and letters of invitation from city officials, community leaders and faculty from several universities, the application was denied for all 30 members of the group without grounds or explanation.

16. I am not a Dirty Mexican

My family was living in Arizona before Arizona Became a State.

I am constantly being labeled as a dirty Mexican.

It doesn’t matter what degree I hold or how much experience I have until I speech I am seen as just another immigrant.

I don't have children because I can't afford to support one, but people always assume I do, because I look like just another Mexican.

I worked at McDonalds when I was a kid and learned how to be great at costumer service, now every fast food restaurant is run by Mexican nationals that can even say McDonalds correctly.

I feel like no matter how much time goes by Americans are always going to treat me as less than or discriminate against me. Before people hated all the Mexicans they still were predigest against the Black, and I kind of look black also and I had rock thrown at me and was called the N word and treated badly by teachers and kids. It will never stop for me.

I just want to live in peace, I am proud of my heritage, but the immigrants coming over now are rude and could give a s hit about learning what it is to be an American, many collect well fare and are abusing our system. They have several kids and don't even care if they get and education. They are lowering our school standards and changing the way Americans used to be. We were number 1 now we are not.

If you are a Mexican immigrant, get off your butts and pass your test to become a citizen, learn the laws take interest in your child’s education and stop blasting that music, not everyone needs to here you coming down the street and get some birth control.

17. Mexico should boycott countries that have banned pork products from Mexico

On April 2009, Mexico suffered a outbreak of Swine flu and many countries have taken action against the Swine flu. For example, Russia has banned all pork products from infected countries. China has taken lots of action including isolating Mexican tourists.

Even though Swine flu in Mexico is no longer severe and people can stop worrying, Russia and China still upholds their bans. Also, the US State Department warns travelers from specific countries to avoid going to China because of the treatment the tourists were given in unsanitary conditions.

And thanks to these pork bans, Mexico's economy has plummeted in recession. Tell Mexico to boycott!

20. Support Mexican Rights

Everyone deserves a chance at a better life. Who are we to stand in the way of a better future for a good person? Are we insisting that we are better people because we were born in the land of the free and home of the brave? Are we still as Americans, stuck on the colors of our skin to define us a person?I disagree, I believe those who deserve a chance, should be able to have one. Help me stand up for the innocent for the Mexican families that are in United States without a voice. To help stop the fear of deportation , being taken away from children, husbands and wifes.

Let's help the Mexicans that are willing to help the United States by paying taxes, joining United States troops, fighting for our country. Putting money back into our country by being able to buy housing, cars and other products instead of being separated from there family and sending there money back to Mexico, building there country while lowering ours.

Let's help them help us. Lets come together and compromise because as one we stand alone, but together we stand united.

21. Demand that the WHO create a manual in the case of bird flu, swine flu = pandemic disease

The WHO should create a manual in the case of diseases like the swine flu, bird flu, SARS, and those diseases capable to cause a pandemic as they can be contracted very easily like a normal cold.

An influenza pandemic is an epidemic of an influenza virus that spreads on a worldwide scale and infects a large proportion of the human population. In contrast to the regular seasonal epidemics of influenza, these pandemics occur irregularly, with the 1918 Spanish flu the most serious pandemic in recent history. Pandemics can cause high levels of mortality, with the Spanish influenza estimated as being responsible for the deaths of over 50 million people. There have been about three influenza pandemics in each century for the last 300 years. The most recent ones were the Asian Flu in 1957, and the Hong Kong Flu in 1968.

Influenza pandemics occur when a new strain of the influenza virus is transmitted to humans from another animal species. Species that are thought to be important in the emergence of new human strains are pigs, chickens and ducks. These novel strains are unaffected by any immunity people may have to older strains of human influenza and can therefore spread extremely rapidly and infect very large numbers of people. Influenza A viruses can occasionally be transmitted from wild birds to other species causing outbreaks in domestic poultry and may give rise to human influenza pandemics.

The World Health Organization (WHO) warns that there is a substantial risk of an influenza pandemic within the next few years. One of the strongest candidates is a highly pathogenic variation of the H5N1 subtype of Influenza A virus. As of 2006, prepandemic influenza vaccines are being developed against the most likely suspects which include H5N1, H7N1, and H9N2.

Certain scholars and senior policy advisors argue that pandemic influenza represents a substantive threat to the international economy, to national security, and a challenge to international governance.

There is current concern that the spread of a new strain of H1N1 influenza, also known as "swine flu", might develop into an pandemic. This concern about the 2009 swine flu outbreak‎ was first raised in April 2009 by the CDC and World Health Organization.

Flu spreads around the world in seasonal epidemics, killing millions of people in pandemic years and hundreds of thousands in non-pandemic years. Three influenza pandemics occurred in the 20th century and killed tens of millions of people, with each of these pandemics being caused by the appearance of a new strain of the virus in humans. Often, these new strains result from the spread of an existing flu virus to humans from other animal species. Since it first killed humans in Asia in the 1990s, a deadly avian strain of H5N1 has posed the greatest risk for a new influenza pandemic; however, this virus has not mutated to spread easily between people.

23. Annex Mexico

The United States is suffering from various economic problems and illegal immigration, problems which can easily be solved by the annexation of Mexico.

Mexico is a poor nation full of corruption and untapped resources. The result of our annexation would prove beneficial to both countries for the following reasons:

1. The US can tap oil and minerals to lower petroleum costs and fix our economy.

2. Mexicans would become US citizens and no longer have to sneak across the border for a better chance of life.

3. The US would have a much smaller border to defend.

4. Businesses would have their labor force.

5. A corrupt government would be erased and life would improve for the people of Mexico.

26. No Social Security Checks for Illegal Aliens

1. Totalization agreement gives Social Security to Illegals
A Totalization Agreement was signed by the U.S. Commissioner of Social Security and the Director General of the Mexican Social Security Institute on June 29, 2004. It commits the U.S. to making payments to illegal Mexican workers after they have returned to Mexico upon their supposed "retirement". This agreement can go into effect very rapidly, so the situation is urgent.

2. Congressman Elton Gallegly working to save Social Security
Congressman Elton Gallegly introduced HR 709 to prevent Social Security raids and protect the integrity of the Social Security system through a Totalization agreement with Mexico. He is a rare leader in Washington, willing to earn the enmity of the political establishment of both parties to defend the national sovereignty interests of the United States and the social security benefits of those Americans who have worked a lifetime to earn them.

3. Congress must stop this taxpayer funded giveaway to illegals
Gallegly's bill would impact any new bill that became effective after January 1, 2007, including the above agreement with Mexico. It simply sets fair ground rules to consider in any future proposals or negotiations BEFORE consideration by the Congress.

4. US-Mexican Totalization agreement will destroy U.S. Social Security
The cost to taxpayers could be as high as $525 million in the first five years and as much as $650 million per year thereafter. This will cause a chain reaction of higher taxes to workers and potentially, cause dramatically reduced benefits to new U.S. retirees. These retirees who worked long and hard for these social security benefits would, under the agreement signed by the U.S. and Mexico (but not yet formally proposed to or approved by Congress) see their retirement funds snatched away and sent over the U.S.-Mexico border.

5. Why should Mexican illegals get a better deal than U.S. workers?
Gallegly's bill, the Total Overhaul of Totalization Agreements Law (TOTAL), would require that future new Totalization Agreements (including the one signed but not yet submitted) prohibit Social Security payments to foreign nationals unless they, like American citizens, legally work for 40 quarters in the U.S. (10 years) not 18 months.

6. HR709 Stops taxpayer funded incentives to illegal workers
Getting a better deal than legal Mexican citizens in Mexico and American citizens in America get working in their own country, it is very obvious that an unfair and one-sided Totalization Agreement would simply serve as a magnet to lure an ever increasing number of illegals to the United States in the next 40 years, as many as 110 million by some estimates.

7. Gallegly Proposes Fair Deal for legal foreign workers
Social Security taxes paid by foreign nationals and their employers would be transferred to their home countries under the Gallegly legislation. Similarly, the taxes paid by American citizens in foreign countries would be transferred into the U.S. Social Security system under his bill.

8. No U.S. Taxpayer subsidy for other Mexico Social Security System
Foreign workers will still receive retirement credit for the taxes they pay--which is only fair--but the U.S. taxpayer will not be forced to subsidize another country's social security system, nor would people who are here illegally get social security benefits.
