1. Like my Vote: Allow voting on facebook for the presidential election
Facebook is the most used social network on the world wide web today with an average of approximately 1.01 Billion users per month. It's used to advertise, reconnect with family and friends as well as campaign for any political office.
Why not go one step further and allow the American people to cast the vote on Voting day via Facebook. You can pay bills, watch, television, go to school and so many other things via the Internet, why not make it easy for someone to cast their vote for their candidate via a secure app on Facebook.
There are so many Facebook users that would love to vote but for various reasons may not be able to physically get out to do it. Facebook would give them that chance. Facebook was flooded during the presidential debates. Imagine if every one of those users were able to cast their vote and really take part of their American Right. The turnout would be tremendous. The American voice would definitely be heard.
2. STOP Pills Filled with Baby Flesh!
Thousands of pills filled with powdered human baby flesh discovered by customs officials in South Korea
More than 17,000 pills smuggled into country have been intercepted since last August. Pills viewed as a “miracle cure” for all ailments – but unsurprisingly they are harmful.
Thousands of pills filled with powdered human flesh have been discovered by customs officials in South Korea, it was revealed today.
The capsules are in demand because they are viewed as being a medicinal “cure-all”.
The grim trade is being run from China where corrupt medical staff are said to be tipping off medical companies when babies are aborted or delivered still-born.
Dead baby pills: This is ground baby powder which tests discovered is 99.7 per cent human last year. South Korean officials have stopped 17,000 dead baby pills being imported since last August
The tiny corpses are then bought, storedin household refrigerators in homes of those involved in the trade before they are removed and taken to clinics where they are placed in medical drying microwaves.
Once the skin is tinder dry, it is pummelled into powder and then processed into capsules along with herbs to disguise the true ingredients from health investigators and customs officers.
The discoveries since last August has shocked even hardened customs agents who have pledged to strengthen inspections.
Chinese officials are understood to have been aware of the trade and have tried to stop the capsules being exported but thousands of packets of them have been smuggled through to South Korea.
3. Allow Men to Compete in Ice Dance at OUA Competitions
The current structure of OUA Figure Skating competition does not give male figure skaters an equal opportunity to compete; each university is allowed a roster of 17 skaters: 16 female and 1 male. Of the 14 events at any OUA figure skating competition, only 2 events allow male competitors (the men's singles event and the team synchronized event).
Furthermore, while any one woman on a university team may compete in a maximum of four events, a man may only compete in a maximum of two events.
We would like men to have an equal opportunity to compete at OUA Figure Skating Competitions. Male ice dancers should be given the opportunity to skate in the pairs and fours ice dance events.
AIDS2012 will be a fantastic opportunity for the issues facing the Caribbean to be showcased.
We, Caribbean activists vow to make our voices heard and our issues known. This is but just one such way of doing so.
5. Help Us Fight To Make The South Hook Of Folly Beach County Park A Private Clothing Optional Area
South Carolina dose not have any nude or clothing optional beach areas and really needs one. South Carolina's Nudity Laws are as follows:
SOUTH CAROLINA
15. CHAPTER

ARTICLE 1.
MISCELLANEOUS OFFENSES
SECTION 16-15-130. Indecent exposure; breastfeeding.
(A)(1) It is unlawful for a person to wilfully, maliciously, and indecently expose his person in a public place, on property of others, or to the view of any person on a street or highway.
(2) This subsection does not apply to a woman who breastfeeds her own child in a public place, on property of others, to the view of any person on a street or highway, or any other place where a woman and her child are authorized to be.
(B) A person who violates the provisions of subsection (A)(1) is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, must be fined in the discretion of the court or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.
We need to work to repeal these laws and strengthen the naturist movement for years to come.
6. URGENT! Save Vali Janfeshani and Sarieh Ebadi from being Stoned to Death in Iran
Iran: Stoning sentences for a woman and man confirmed
Tuesday, 31 August 2010
NCRI - The Iranian regime’s supreme court on Sunday confirmed the death sentences by stoning for a man and a woman on charges of adultery.
According to Herana news agency on Monday, the two are imprisoned at Oroumieh prison in northwestern Iran and are identified as Vali Janfeshani and Sarieh Ebadi.
The two have been behind bars since 2008 in Oroumieh’s central prison. The judicial process has been described as hazy and both defendants were deprived of defense attorneys and the right to defend themselves throughout the proceedings.
The ruling was handed down at a time when there is an international outcry over a similar sentence against a 47 year old woman, Sakineh Ashtiani, who is currently being held at Tabriz prison.

7. Allow Gay Men and Woman to donate blood
Currently the policy is to ask those in groups shown to have a particularly high risk of carrying blood-borne viruses not to give blood. This includes men who have ever had sex with men, with this exclusion resting on specific sexual behaviour (such as oral or anal sex between men) rather than sexuality.
There is, therefore, no exclusion of gay men who have never had sex with a man, nor of women who have sex with women.
8. Sexual Violence - A Call To Action
Prevention and Intervention of Sexual Violence is needed in the following areas: global youth violence, child abuse and neglect, violence by intimate partners, abuse of the elderly, sexual violence, self-directed violence, and collective violence.
For more wisdom please see: http://www.nsvrc.org/_cms/fileUpload/global_perspectives.pdf
Marital and partnership rape are another category of sexual violence that goes unnoticed, and is often not recognized as being a problem in our global society. It is the most heinous of crimes because of a women's human rights having no presence in the bedroom. There is no equal opportunity in adult age pertaining to sexual violence. In underage children, violations are committed upon either gender, male or female. In adult age, the predominant survivor's of sexual violence are women.
Please view the following fact sheet on sexual violence: http://www.nsvrc.org/_cms/fileUpload/global_perspectives.pdf
With the history of sexual violence, it needs to be advocated that global communities become more aware of its presence in our homes, work, schools, families, religious institutions/organizations. This awareness is vital to the views of sexual violence. It is key to ending the regenerated cycle of sexual violence.
In any environment, we must be ready and in place to be able to deal with the issue when confronted by the issue of sexual violence. No longer can ignorance or denial be an excuse.
Sexual trafficking is a strong component of human trafficking and a violation of human right laws.

9. The Abuse is Useless Campaign
Domestic violence is a type of abuse. It involves injuring someone, usually a spouse or partner, but it can also be a parent, child or other family member.
Domestic violence is a serious problem. It is the most common cause of injury to women ages 15 to 44. Victims may suffer physical injuries such as bruises or broken bones. They may suffer emotionally from depression, anxiety or social isolation.
It is hard to know exactly how common domestic violence is, because people often don't report it. There is no typical victim. It happens among people of all ages. It affects those of all levels of income and education.
10. No to Vancouver Helmet Law
While I was IMing my friend, he sent me a link going to THIS site - tells about the law - http://www.columbian.com/news/localNews/2008/02/02262008_Vancouver-city-council-enacts-helmet-law.cfm
I was shocked because I was pretty sure that this law was put in and lost once before. I also was upset. How could they do this to us? We are the future and the future needs freedom.
The only reason the roads are dangerous is thanks to adults. If you hadn't created alcohol and drugs we would all be safe on the roads. And if you had made sure we all realized that reckless driving was bad then the roads would be safe!
11. End The Genocide In Darfur
THESE PEOPLE ARE COMPLETELY ALONE! The peace keepers who were there as of September 30th are gone. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE.
3,000 Canadian troops are currently in Afghanistan slaughtering innocent people - a mere 100 are in Africa helping. That's right, that's for the entire Continent. WHAT HAPPENED TO OUR PEACE KEEPERS?
These people don't have protection, food, clean water, clothing, shelter or water. Right now as you read this thousands of people are STARVING to death, being SHOT or RAPED.
We NEED to come together and DO SOMETHING about these attrocities before it's too late.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
In the beginning of 2003 a rebel group began attacking government targets. Why? They claimed the government was oppressing black Africans in favour of Arabs. Although the government admits mobilising " Self Defense Militias " after the rebel attacks, it denies having any connection to the Janjaweed, who are a militia drawn from Darfurian and Chadian Arab tribes that became known for massacre, rape and forced displacement in 2003-2004.
Many of the civilians from Darfur have been forced to flee for safety as the result of maniacal raids of the state-sponsored Arab militias and government helicopter gun ships. So far, 400,000 lives have been taken.
The Sudanese government has promised to disarm the Janjaweed, yet there is little evidence that this has been done.
As of late 2004, 1.2 million people had been displaced from their homes, 200,000 had fled to Chad, 405 villages had been destroyed ( 100 others significantly damaged ), and 50,000 people had been killed. All this in only one year.
The lives of the women, men and children in Darfur are in danger. Not only are they being killed by the Janjaweed, but they don't have enough food, water or medicine to survive. I'm not asking you to donate money, or even food or clothing. All I'm asking is that you take the time to sign this.
You may be thinking, " Why should I care? These people aren't related to me. They have never helped me in any way. " But the truth is, they ARE people. Like you and I, they don't want to suffer. They love, they breathe, they feel, just like us.
You have a choice right now, you can allow this to continue, or you can stand up for the victims of these attrocities in Darfur.
If enough people sign this petition, something will be done. Don't under estimate the power of one person.
