32. No-Fly Zone to Protect Families in Darfur 
In the past four years, 400,000 people in Darfur, Sudan have been killed by their own government. Millions more need our help. Government sponsored troops massacre civilians, rape girls, and shoot children for sport. But now, a growing number of activists around the world are demanding world leaders take action to end the killing.
Darfur is a region in western Sudan, an eastern African country half the size of the United States.
Ethnic African rebel groups in Darfur launched a war for independence, citing a lack of life saving government funds in the region. President Omar Al-Bashir responded with a brutal campaign of ethnic cleansing against civilians. He has used proxy militia groups to torch whole cities, rape and kill thousands of women and children. The violence continues today.
A No-Fly Zone could stop the violence.
The United States ran a No-Fly Zone in Iraq after the first Gulf War. A NATO implemented No-Fly Zone ended the violence Kosovo. We can do the same in Darfur. But we need your help. President Bush is already considering a No-Fly Zone as part of his "Plan B" package.

NEW MOVEMENT FOR SURVIVAL
Reasoned persuasion on the basis of scientific evidence is not enough to result in effective change of individuals or governments.
Other motives and values drive them, and have to be brought to the surface of awareness for re-evaluation, in order for behavioural change to be sustainable.
The predominent Western ideology of economic growth, consumerism and exploitation of human and natural resources, is the main driver of behaviour causing both climate change and all the other current threats to survival.
The New Movement for Survival proposes an alternative, all-inclusive global ideology aimed to ‘Value Life Itself Above All Else’.
The Movement will appeal to those already persuaded and then snowball out to draw in as many other people as possible, and so reach a critical mass of influence on both individuals and governments, working in coalition with all likeminded groups.

35. Support traditional marriage
Should same-sex marriage be legalised in Australia?
One of the government’s roles is to ensure that all Australian citizens have access to fairness, justice, protection of youth and it's citizen's and equality. The government appears to be reinforcing prejudice by not allowing equality and the same rights to all citizens when it comes to homosexuality. Or is it?
Most people in Australia, if they spoke out, believe that same-sex marriage is a threat to the institution of the traditional marriage model. Homosexuality is recognised in our society but is NOT broadly accepted. Allowing same sex marriage would affect Australian society negatively through raised financial health costs, the break down of family values where in the past strong families have been the corner stone of our society and abandonment of children who may be adopted into sudo-gay marriages. Statistics around the world show same sex relationships, on average, only last from 1-2 years.
Those who believe that marriage is simply a legally social and economic contract discard the purpose of marriage. The point of marriage is to create a lifelong, protective environment to birth, raise and cultivate the next generation into adulthood. Gay marriage cannot produce the next generation and for any nation this would obviously be detrimental in the long run.
If we are all to decide increasingly that we should be in same sex marriages, we would only serve to degrade the Australian birth rate even further. The current Government within Australia is making all efforts to increase the birth rate, why would it allow this minority group to influence vulnerable youth into it's ranks for increasing it's agenda.
Marriage has not evolved... ever! It has always been the same in all of history, hence tradition. It is between the union of a male and female. It should not be adapted because a few yell loud enough!
Australia says, "Let's keep our family values intact, so our children can continue to live in a lucky and blessed nation of wealth and prosperity".

37. Life Insurance Corporation of India to reduce 5 year condition to 1 year
The LIC has new rules, that an agent can benifit his commission only if he continuously make 12 head/per Annum and that too for 5 years. Moreover recently LIC has started creating thousands of LIC agents, to make sure that no LIC agent can be able to make this target.
A poor Jobless LIC agent affects his/her relative and friends initially. But later puts down the weapons, and looses his commission. Being a government orgonization, LIC should not play with unemployed people's futures like this.
