1. Thank You Senator Landrieu! 
The children and families of pending adoptions in Guatemala have been waiting anywhere from 3 to 8 years for the process to complete.
Louisiana Senator Mary Landrieu recently traveled to Guatemala to meet with President Alvaro Colom as well as the heads of the various entities that govern Guatemalan adoption in an effort to break the gridlock that these children's cases have encountered.
For this amazing devotion, the Guatemala900 offers this letter of thanks to Senator Landrieu.
2. Mitch Landrieu for Governor
Louisiana deseparately needs better government to move forward.
The author of this petition would like it known had I campaigned for Mitch Landrieu as Mayor of New Orleans he would have won. I regret campagning for his opponent in that election. New Orleans remains in chaos. Hopefully, Mr. Landrieu will reconsider running as Governor to get the entire state moving forward as we continue into the 21st century.
3. Help the 1086th Transportation Company
The 1086th Transportation Company of the Louisiana National Guard has been in Kuwait since March 23, 2003. The Department of Defense has extended tours of duty for National Guard soldiers currently deployed. Our soldiers of the 1086th TC were promised a homecoming date on September 20th,2003. They were informed that there was no date for them to return home because there is no company to take their place. Our soldiers are in limbo and deserve to have a date to come home.
