1. Pass Immigration Reform Now
Fellow Americans, today we must do what is right; we must turn our attention to the fractured immigration law, it might be helpful to remember that in 1986, Ronald Reagan signed a sweeping immigration reform bill into law.
It was sold as a crackdown on illegal immigration; this legislation promised to the American people that; there would be tighter security at the Mexican border, and employers would face strict penalties for hiring undocumented workers.
This bill also made any immigrant who'd entered the country before 1982 eligible for amnesty and become a legal resident of this United States. Today we Americans are frustrate because this Reagan legislation “ The 1986 Immigration Reform and Control Act” is a failure, because Washington fail to enforce the law, Washington was as today in the pockets of the big business and stripped the strict sanctions on the employers and fail to enforce the law, as consequences today we have 12 million illegal aliens in our country, they come in search for a better future and the freedom that this country guarantee to their citizen by our Constitution.
The question is; who is responsible for this immigration mess we made. I believe we are. Washington is to blame and our duty is to fix this mess by passing an immigration reform bill that will give every undocumented foreign person an opportunity to become a resident and eventually citizen of this United States.
2. Tell Marco Rubio To Stop Supporting Amnesty
Whereas, Marco Rubio has disappointed his entire conservative voter base with his troubling push of amnesty for illegal aliens in recent immigration reform legislation.
Whereas, Rubio has misled the public about the bill's costly and explosive contents, as he has not even read the bill and won't agree to share it with the public.
Whereas, Rubio has lost my support by endorsing a "free pass" for illegal immigrants -- a policy that is fiscally, culturally, and lawfully irresponsible. Senator, your encouragement of illegal amnesty is against our values, and is evidence that you mislead constituents to believe you'd vote against the very legislation you're selling today if you were to be elected.
3. Stop the immigrant invasion
Immigrants are always getting what we as AMERICAN CITIZENS have never gotten.
I will stand my ground and never back down. I know what i believe inside and I know my rights of speech.
4. Support Indiana Legislation S.B.590 Against Illegal Immigration 2011
The citizens of Indiana wish to respectfully but clearly declare that because the federal government has failed its obligation illegal immigration has become a state issue.
Senate Bill 590, Illegal Immigration Matters, is currently active in this 2011 session. It has passed the senate and needs immediate attention to move it through the house before it can become law.
The bill language, reports and status may be view on the state government's website (http://www.in.gov/apps/lsa/session/billwatch/billinfo?year=2011&session=1&request=getBill&docno=590)
This petition will be closed no later then the last day for session adjournment of both houses, April 29, 2011. This is a Hoosier grassroots effort. The signatures will be presented to the legislators and not retained, sold or distributed in any other way. GoPetition verifies signatories IP address for petition integrity, however, the more information you provide the more weight your signature will carry.
5. Petition for the Legal Taxation of Illegal Immigrants
We, the citizens of California, recognize the contribution of Illegal Immigration to the State Deficit and are petitioning for the the fair and legal Income Taxation of Illegal Immigrants to cover the following: the costs of Legal Services and Representation in the courts as mandated by law, the costs of increasing demands on The California State Border, The costs of Education in our publicly subsidized schools for the betterment of our society, and the costs of legally mandated Emergency Medical Services.
We are petitioning for the non-refundable taxation of Illegal Immigrants, due to the lawfully mandated Rights bestowed upon them by the Citizens of California, for a duration of Seven Years or until granted Citizenship by the Representatives of this Great State.
6. Stop Illegal Immigrants' Detention Centre Northam WA
The Federal Government, under the leadership of Julia Gillard, has decreed it will construct a $165 million illegal immigration centre to accommodate 1500 able bodied male illegal immigrants, at the disused army facility in Northam WA. This equates to $110 000 of our money per illegal immigrant and that is just for their accommodation! This decision was reached without consultation with the people of Northam or the surrounding townships or shires.
It seems incredulous that, in a State which not only suffers severe water shortages and restrictions both summer and winter, but whose population is also asked to refrain from using air conditioners and other “non essential” electrical appliances during peak summer conditions , we would be forced to accommodate this vast number of resource consumers. Miss Gillard assures us the benefits to the local communities from the increase in commercial growth this illegal immigration centre will provide, should more than compensate for the copious amount of our precious water these illegal immigrants will shower and flush away each day.
Miss Gillard also fails to mention how many of our other resources these illegal immigrants will be exploiting. Not only do these people avail themselves freely of our water and electricity, they abuse our welfare system, medical services and law enforcement facilities. They then proceed to bleed our church and welfare groups dry. Time, effort and resources which would otherwise be used to assist our own aged, needy or less fortunate citizens will now be siphoned off to the illegal immigrants.
It is even more incredulous that despite the deplorable shortage of medical and aged care facilities, not to mention law enforcement amenities within this State, the Federal Government can find the funds and inclination to complete this project within a mere eight months.
According to a media release from the AMA in November 2005, the Eastern region was promised a new 326 bed hospital in Midland. “To its credit the Government has decided to build a new hospital on the old Midland workshops site and save most of the services provided by Bentley Hospital. These decisions will ease the concerns of thousands of families living in the region. Construction on Midland Health Campus is set to start in 2012 with the new hospital scheduled to open in 2015.”
In May 1999, the Midland region was also promised a $42million Police Operations Centre. To quote the Ministerial Media Statements website “Construction on the Midland operations centre is expected to begin next year. The facility, within the Midland Workshops Precinct, will consolidate operations support functions from 11 locations into one facility to optimise operational efficiency and effectiveness.
The centre, which will accommodate police communications, forensic, traffic operations and other divisions, is due for completion in 2001-02.”
It appears the people of Western Australia can wait with baited breath for the infrastructure to sustain acceptable living standards while supplying the rest of the country with seemingly unlimited bounty from the resources boom. It is to be noted that despite her best efforts, Miss Gillard could find no suitable sites to house such vast numbers of illegal immigrants within the vicinity of Canberra.
This petition is not about racisms or xenophobia it is about protecting Western Australian culture and ensuring a sustainable future for our State. Please add your name and signature to the list to ensure the future of our State and our Australian way of life.
7. Stop the Tamils illegal immigration
On Aug 13, 2010 492 Tamils arrived at Esquimalt Harbour near Victoria B.C. Out of the 492 Tamils 400 were adult males some of which believed to be Tamil Tigers members declared a terrorist group and others human smugglers. But there's still a question left unanswered how do 492 people survive on such a small boat for 3 months with only the food and water on board and all but three on board were in perfect condition and in clean clothes even though the ship was barely able to hold the Tamils themselves and the ship went for 3 months with one tank of fuel something's fishy about all that.
Should we just let these people come in because of what was going on in there country even though the war in Sri Lanka ended last year . Australia turned them down and now there trying to take advantage of Canada's good will and surprise surprise no ID at all. Please sign if you care about Canada and think people should follow the rules.
8. America for Americans in Maryland
As Americans we are tired of giving illegal immigrants our jobs, our education, our healthcare and degrading citizenship in our country.
9. Impeach John Morton Director of ICE
John Morton the director of ICE won't be cooperating with Local Police Departments in Arizona to deport Illegal Aliens that have been booked & determined Illegal.
The ICE Director is siding with the Obama Administration saying the New Immigration Law goes too far & deemed as Racist & Unconstitutional.
10. Idaho against Illegal Immigration
80 percent of the people agree with tougher immigration laws.
Illegal immigrant problem costs the state $200 million a year.
4,380 Americans murdered annually by illegal aliens.
397B - cost of welfare and other social services provided to ILLEGAL
Immigrants.
22.7M ILLEGALS in USA NOW.
22.2M... are MEXICAN ILLEGALS (579,000 are non-Mexican ILLEGALS).
$163.7B - cost of educated k-12 ILLEGAL Immigrant Children.
$24.3B - cost of incarceration of ILLEGALS.
11.6M - Number of skilled jobs provided to ILLEGALS.
Several thousands of senseless deaths could have been prevented if our federal, state and local law enforcement would enforce our immigration laws and secure the border.
11. Enact Immigration Enforcement Laws In Pennsylvania
Arizona and numerous states in this country are besieged by illegal immigration--more people and drugs cross illegally into the United States through Arizona than any other state. Massive levels of crime go with it. Drug and human smuggling, extortion, kidnapping and murders.
Illegal immigration is rampant across the country and in PENNSYLVANIA. And the Federal government has done NOTHING to stop it.
PENNSYLVANIA has had enough. We have decided to stop waiting for the Federal Government to do what the Constitution mandates--to protect its citizens from external threats.
PENNSYLVANIA wants legislation enacted to help stop the robberies, shootings, rapes, kidnapping, murders, and madness.
PENNSYLVANIA wants jobs given back to it's LEGAL CITIZENS and taken away from illegals.
PENNSYLVANIA want to stop giving welfare and handouts to illegals.
This isn't about racism, or xenophobia, or "apartheid" or any of the other hysterical slanders the left has come up with. This is about the safety and well-being of the citizens of the state Pennsylvania. Support was overwhelming in Arizona: 70% of Arizonans supported it. And support is Bi-Partisan, with 84% of Republicans and 51% of Democrats in favor.
SUPPORT THIS PETITION TO ENACT STRICT IMMIGRATION LAW IN PENNSYLVANIA!
I am a current Parkinson's Disease Patient, currently our government is spending to much time trying to give handouts to illegal immigrants and are neglecting Patients like myself who are suffering medicaly and financially from the problems of Parkinson's Disease.
Not enough research is being done and not enough money is being given to Patient's on Disability.
13. We Stand With Arizona, and Against Illegal Immigration
Arizona is besieged by illegal immigration--more people and drugs cross illegally into the United States through Arizona than any other state. And Arizonans suffer the massive levels of crime that go with it. Drug and human smuggling, extortion, kidnapping and murders. And the Federal government has done NOTHING to stop it.
Arizonans have had enough. They decided to stop waiting for the Feds to do what the Constitution mandates--to protect its citizens from external threats. So they passed legislation to help stop the robberies, shootings, rapes, kidnapping, murders, and madness.
This isn't about racism, or xenophobia, or "apartheid" or any of the other hysterical slanders the left has come up. This is about the safety and well-being of the citizens of the state. And its support was overwhelming: 70% of Arizonans supported it. And support is Bi-Partisan, with 84% of Republicans and 51% of Democrats in favor.
But some have now come out and called for a boycott of Arizona. Incredibly, even one of its own U.S. Representatives--Rep. Raul Grijalva has joined this call for a boycott--of his own state!
14. Stop Businesses From Hiring Illegal Immigrants
Our petition is to pass House Bill 441 through the Commonwealth Kentucky Legislature to make it against the law for businesses to hire illegal immigrants.
Often times, businesses hire illegal immigrants because they can pay them less than normal employees, and hold their illegal status against them.
By hiring illegal immigrants, thousands of people in America do not get the jobs they deserve.
15. Finish Securing the Border, Enforce the Law
Studies show that millions of illegal immigrants cut in front of law-abiding people to break into our country. They bring drugs, human trafficking, and threaten national security. They bankrupt our schools, over-crowd our prisons, and burden our welfare system.
They commit heinous, preventable crimes against our people, lower our wages, and take our jobs. The border has become a human rights disaster. Women are raped, people are murdered, children are sold as sex slaves.
This is about:
-Compassion
-Fairness
-Public Safety
-The Rule of Law
Granting any kind of amnesty to illegal immigrants would perpetuate a ghastly human rights crisis on the border, further endanger our people, and reward people for cheating.
Studies also show that enforcement is working.
We demand that our candidates for Congress commit themselves clearly and emphatically to finishing the securing of the border and enforcing the law before Election Day, 2008. Any who do this will have our votes and our support. Any who do not will get nothing. Any who violate their commitment will gain all of us as motivated enemies.
