Many states have a NSPCA humane force A.K.A animal cops. Las Vegas does not have one. We need one desperately. We need one NOW! The abuse has become so bad that even my next door neighbors are doing it.

It seems left and right animals in Las Vegas are hurt and abused for no reason except for a persons sick fantasies. I'm not asking for money im just asking for help so if you can contact any major officer (mayor, governor, president etc.) please send this to them.

I may be only 15 but this is what I want to do, defend animals of Las Vegas and let them have a good life.

1 in 10 Canadians in the workforce who are employed are working in what would be considered temporary job.

Between 1989 and 1994, the number of Canadians employed on a temporary basis increased by 21 per cent, from 799,000 to 970,000 workers.

Seventy-five per cent of temporary jobs last less than six months and as a result, many temporary workers are excluded from various legal protections and employee benefits.

Temporary agents are not paid for days away from the job due to sickness, statutory holidays, bereavement or vacation leave, nor are they entitled to severance pay upon termination of their employment.

Employers are not required to pay unemployment insurance premiums or Canada/Quebec Pension Plan premiums on behalf of these workers.

Temporary employment is an important issue with substantial policy implications. Too many workers today are unable to string together enough temporary jobs in a year to provide them with an adequate income or security. Moving from one contract to the next, many individuals are left with only part-time work and irregular hours, and rarely with any of the non-wage benefits like pensions or unemployment insurance.

Clearly the emergence of these new forms of employment has implications for a wide range of policies and programs.

In short, temporary employment in some of its current forms is eroding the economic security of Canadian families.

Please help Chinese girl, Cheng Li Ellison, free her mother from prison in China. Her mother is a Falun Gong practitioner; and the only crime she committed was distributing pamphlets about the practice of Falun Gong.

She was put in prison without trial or sentence, and no one is able to contact her. Cheng's father too afraid of the power of the government, so is unwilling to help - even the person is his own wife.

Cheng is now married to an Australian citizen and planned to bring out her parents to Australia with her; however now, that dream seems very far away.

Please help her bring her dreams closer to reality.

Worst Christmas story: Wisconsin vs. deer, article by John Kass @Chicago Tribune. The State of Wisconsin wants to kill Charlotte a deer, who thinks she is a horse.

Charlotte was rescued by Marvin Graaf and is being threatened with up to eight months in jail and a fine of up to $2,000.00. Some 15 months ago a mother deer and her fawn were hit by a car. The mother died and the fawn had been dragged by the car. Only her ear was torn. Charlotte stayed in the same spot where her mother died and wouldn't leave. A neighbor knew a man that had rescued other animals. For four days Charlotte, the fawn, just stood there where her mother died. She wouldn't eat. She was dying. Marvin was able to nurse her back to good health.

In August, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources sent officers to Graaf's home to kill Charlotte. Graaf refused to release Charlotte to them. She threatens no one by staying on Graaf's farm running with her horse friends.

Is Airsoft Safe, Yes or No?
Airsoft has enjoyed a huge increase in popularity recently. Along with the rise, Airsoft has also gotten a lot of press as to whether the guns are safe or not. So are they? The answer is Yes and No; here's why.

Before we go any further it is important to understand that Airsoft guns are not toys. They are highly detailed firearm simulations that fire plastic 6mm BBs at muzzle velocities of 100-400FPS. Like paintball guns, they are designed for use under controlled, private environments, and should be treated like a real fiream. Used correctly, airsoft is a fun way participate in paintball-like competitions and/or to enhance military simulations/training. Use of airsoft guns also develops the proper handling and respect for firearms. Parents should ensure that children under 18 should be supervised by an adult when using airsoft guns.

From a lethal stand-point Airsoft Gnus are safe. The plastic Airsoft Ammo that it shoots is too slow and light to penetrate the skin, and cause damage to internal organs. So, your not going to kill anyone using an airsoft gun.That said, don't get to relaxed around airsoft guns because that what cannot kill you can still injure you.

A flying plastic 6mm BB, moving at airsoft velocities can break bare skin and worse damage the eyes and/or cause blindness. That is the number one danger from airsoft guns. Because of this it is important that everyone uses eye protection when shooting airsoft guns. Even when shooting at targets, a chance ricochet can cause eye injury.

I believe with age restriction , licening , improvised strict rules and regulation , airsoft guns will be much safe here , in Singapore. I believe that airsoft can widely benefit singapore.

With strict rule and regulation( carry gun in a gun bag when going to skirmishesh etc).The person must pay a fee and go through several test mentality test before getting to applying for a airsoft gun license.when purchasing an airsoft gun , the license must be present. Whether or not there must be an orange tip and flash hider can only be used when in skirmish( a legal one with approval )I believe if airsoft are legal, some airsoft shop may open here in SG. This will attract foreign airsoft company to invest in Singapore airsoft shops and might even buy land or even build airsoft indoor facilities.only people who are members of airsoft clubs ( which are know to the government and police ) can buy airsoft guns from another country and travel with them to other country for skirmish or match.

Having airsoft legal and places for skirmish, this will lead a decrease of obesity rate, as it not only help heavier people to lose wait and also train Singaporean about urban warfare, this will again attract foreigners to come to Singapore to have an airsoft "war" this also can strengthen bond with other country , making SG a peaceful country. Government can banned lousy protective gears like mesh goggles and allow such good quality airsoft / paint ball mask makers like onimaru to open a shop here if it's successful it will have permission to expand there business and again this will attract foreigners . This can allow Singapore to be a cosmopolitan country, again lead to attracting of permanent residents, which helps overcome the ageing population and shrinking of work force, therefore SG can adapt to other culture experience for example Halloween which people in Singapore are starting to celebrate.

But if people uses airsoft for bad intend , like robbing the bank, strict doers can be given to police to shoot them, without giving in and also patrol areas like void decks and so. If it is not safe enough, glued orange tip of airsoft guns, so that peopl can't remove them and at once peopl can tell which is a toy.

Make sure that airsoft guns must must be kept out of reach of childrens. Safety phamlets can be distributed when buying airsoft guns. If a person tries to abuse their with their airsoft guns, their license will be confiscated and banning them from purchasing any airsoft guns.with the license, government can keep tract of how many airsoft gun that particular person own. Make that certain airsoft guns cannot exceed a certain range.

People applying for license must be 18 (unless exception) and above. If they fail to pass the test they will not be able to apply for license until the next test. Before taking a test , people must go through maybe a 24 hour course (8 course lesson) which government can hire professionals from clubs to teach the people about safety, people must attend all course
Unless they are on medical leave, if not they will not receive certificate to go for the test, which they need to wait for the next course.

Here are some airsoft rules
1: airsoft gun should be kept away from children.
2: when airsoft guns are not in use , make sure gun on safe mode, battery remove, magazine remove , change back flashlighter to an orange or red one.
3: when going to skirmish , keep rifle in a gun bag , do not be a hero and expose them to public before reaching skirmish ground.
4: protective gears must be present at all times
5: never flash an airsoft gun out in public even if you are going to head to a repair shop,make sure the airsoft gun is fully conceal and not visible to public
6: airsoft guns must be treated like real fire arms don't do stupid things like looking into the barrel, shooting people and animals( when they are not wearing protective gears and are not playing with you) don't do stupid things like shooting at other people's property
7: only allow singaporeans and PRs to buy airsoft guns locally , cannot buy from other country to Singapore through hand carry , ( exception for exclusive club members only]only can oder through Internet but must be checked by the airsoft profesionals and arm and explosives department . Only replica accessories like sights and scope can be brought into Singapore by hand carry through luggages.
8: any airsoft guns with a muzzle velocity of over 500fps will not be allowed or must be powered down.
9: no metal or paint bbs can be sold in Singapore or ordered[although this generation of airsoft guns have been provent that cannot fire metal bbs and also modified in to real fire arm.]
10: only airsoft guns can be brought without licnese if it a spring operated , not 1:1 scale ,bright coloured and less than a muzzle velocity of 100fps.
11: all airsoft vest and and uniform must not be the same as the SAF uniform or vest.
12: orange tip must be present at all times unless in skirmishes, if not person will be fine or even jailed

Singapore can hire professionals to educate our citizens on airsoft safety and how to differ an airsoft from a real firearm and also EDUCATE ADULTS to not foolishly allow children to play with their airsoft guns.

Ameba Pico Virtual World banned some users because they are said to have cheated in the game by getting extra rooms without paying.

but the truth is that, Ｙｕｍｉｋｏ☆'s account got hacked and the hacker tried to claim the account as his own and used cheats for some benefits

Ｙｕｍｉｋｏ☆ got her account back with her account with 380 ameba golds(currency in the game) left. Evidence of the hacker's usage of the account. There are also five new rooms in her account, which was done by an illegal action.

Which i'm saying is that the illegal rooms are not done by Ｙｕｍｉｋｏ☆ herself. Therefore it's a wrong thing to ban her account because it is not her fault.

Ｙｕｍｉｋｏ☆ used real money in this game so it's very important that she shouldn't get banned for a false alarm.

probably the best way is just to remove the added rooms and let her play the game the way she used to.

I have seen homeless people on the street, but I never give them money because of fear that they would spend it on drugs and alcohol. This is not to due to prejudice at all; I would not give any stranger money because of this fear.

Homeless people are still people! One of the reasons why people are homeless is because they do not want to have to go into shelter because they do not want to lose their dogs. The answer to this would be to create more dog-friendly homeless shelters where the people have their own rooms where the dogs can be kept in to stop the risk of allergy in the other people. Another reason why people are homeless is due to not having enough money to afford household costs.

The answer to this too would be to use old buildings where possible and to build new homeless shelters, as well as to reduce household costs. Another common reason is due to family problems such as divorces and abuse. The solution to many of these domestic problems would be to promote the charity Samaritans more so that they can talk to these people.

If we do not help the homeless, they will be less inclined to want to help us if we ever need help for them. Also, we need to consider the people themselves as well. How would you like to have to sleep on a pavement all night and eat scraps and cheap food for your only meals?

As well as this, animal welfare may also suffer because they may sometimes get an even worse deal. This is not the homeless people's fault. Rather it is because they cannot afford good food and veterinary treatment for their dogs and live too far away from clinics that offer free animal health care.

In my vision, Homeless Awareness day would involve people from homeless charities coming around to different schools and collecting money as well as people who have been homeless before coming to do talks and answer students' questions about what it's like to live on the streets.

Gates of Praise International is a Christian Charity operating in Grays Thurrock for the last 10 Years. We leased an abadoned and derelict yard 4 years ago which has now been renovated. We currently use it as the Administration HQ, Storage for our relief goods and meeting hall.

We applied for a change of use and the local authority rejected the use on the excuse that we have not entered into an agreement to ameliorate the traffic challenges. This was never a discussion at anytime during the application. We were asked to provide reports e.g flood risk assessment, which we did. We have made it clear that we do not constitute to this highlighted problem as we meet outside the hours the other occupants use the estate.

We have a car park for 40 cars and most of the members to site are local. The closest block of flats to the site is about 80metres away. Beneficiaries of the site and our activities include; Little Havens, Thurrock Council Social Services, Ebenezer Homes, St Lukes Hospices, NSPCC, Terrence Higgins Trust, Cancer Research UK, Tearfund, Sightsavers, Family Mosaic, Sanctuary Supported Housing, RSVP. The council has threatened us with an enforcement action which states that we are not to use the site in any connection with a charity. There is no restrictive covenant on the site. It was left vacant for a year before we moved in.

We have made it clear that we will work with the council to remove any obstacle and contribute towards the requested traffic works e.g a pedestrian crossing which has been estimated @ £10k.

We are also prepared to work with the council to find a suitable property in Grays instead of just throwing us out which seems to be the council's intention.

The skateboard and BMX riders in Southern, NJ have no legal places of their own to practice and ride. They are often ticketed and fined by the police because the parking lots and hand built sites that they practice in are not sanctioned by the city, county, or property owners, and are not safe places to play. The skate parks that were recently built are now being closed.

There are no legal facilities available for them other than the few parks that are still open. When people hop skate park fences they are charged with trespassing.

A BMX/skatepark provides a safe, fun family place to play. The cities have made baseball, basketball, tennis, and soccer facilities available for the children who have those interests. The skateboarders and BMX riders deserve the same consideration.

Japan is considered as an easternmost small island with limited resources. Yet, if the volume and the depth of the sea are considered, Japan ranks fourth in the world. With this favourite marine background, Organization of Mobile Hospital International （OMHI）was established as a fair and independent non-governmental organization. We aim primarily for constructing Japan-made hospital ships, which help contribute to world peace.

Our proposed hospital ship will deal with natural disasters such as the earthquake or an outbreak of epidemic (e.g. Bird Flu and new influenza.) As for international need and demands, hospital ship will provide worldwide humanitarian support in devastated areas, for example Indochina, Haiti and Chile, where quake and tsunami are in the offing. We will help to maintain the security and to improve the safety in conflict regions.

Nowadays, registered hospital ships come from 14 countries and 4 non-governmental organizations, but none of them belongs to Japan. There is no denying that hospital shipwill provide medical services, whereas world peace is a more important issue to deal with. Japan could make fairly contribution to the issue by utilizing her oceanographic technology.

We have started this project since a private workshop held in Tokyo in February 25, 2011. Influential people from various quarters participated in the workshop and exchanged their opinions actively. Right in the middle of Europe, millions of street animals are dying year in year out: in killing camps who call themselves animal shelters, or in “freedom” – of hunger, cold, diseases, poison.

Granted, you’ll find local laws forbidding the above – but often enough neither local authorities nor elements of the executive authorities do comply with the laws. Even the most barbarian cruelties to animals go without prosecution because it is not avenged, as a rule.

On December 1st, 2009 the treaty of Lisbon (so-called EU reformation treaty) became effective. The major agreement states that the Union and its member states have to take account of the well-being of the animals as feeling beings.

But the ratification of this treaty does not automatically imply the end of the brute widespread deaths.

This is why we need to suit the action to the word.

In general, particularly of the new generation, I have found that people litter for no apparent reason. It has become a British statement for many of the youth and shockingly, it is considered that littering is cool - To chuck plastic, paper ect. is cool... Yet, after many encounters with constant litterers, they are completely unaware of the damage it is causing to our environment.

My eldest son Jack is Autistic. I was advised last year that a pet would be good for Jack to help with his Autism and bring him out of himself and help teach him to care for somebody else, to help give him a sense of responsibility.

After a lot of research in October last year We got small Shih-tzu puppy for him. At the time we were living in a 2 bedroomed first floor flat owned by Notting Hill Housing Group, we recently moved to a 3 bedroom house with a garden owned by Notting Hill Housing Group. I

have just received a letter saying we must get rid of our puppy or face being evicted, Whilst living in the first floor flat we were allowed to have an Alsatian for 7 years who sadly passed away 4 years ago. Since getting our puppy(Gino) my son has completely changed and come out of himself, He is due to start a mainstream secondary school in September which is something I couldn't have predicted a year ago.

To take away Gino will cause him such heartbreak and trauma it could set him right back.Gino has changed Jacks life in so many ways for the positive, please help my family.

In North Korea, there is danger of thousands of people dying due to lack of food. In this case, the government of DPRK are unable to help the people as much as they wish to, due to various trade and food blockades imposed on the country.

Were the leaders of wealthy nations to supply North Korea with adequate food aid, this would save countless lives, and is thus a very valuable cause; helping innocents in need.
