1. Stop Greyhound Muzzling In NSW 
One of the main stumbling blocks that exists for the Greyhound Adoption Program in NSW is the requirement that our beautiful dogs be muzzled in public places. The negative effect of this stipulation of the Companion Animals Act is twofold:
It has caused the completely erroneous perception to become entrenched, in the minds of the general public, that Greyhounds are dangerous and aggressive.
In itself, the legal requirement that they be muzzled in public, discourages a lot of people who would otherwise be keen to adopt one of these gentle and aristocratic dogs.
We strongly believe that this legislation is misguided - not to say draconian - in that it, quite unjustifiably, discriminates against Greyhounds. (The only other breed which is specified in the CAA is the Pit Bull Terrier). It should be noteworthy that the Greyhound does not rate a mention in any published statistics of dog bites, despite the fact that far more Greyhounds are whelped each year than any other breed.
Furthermore Australia is the only country, with the sole exception of Northern Ireland, which requires Greyhounds to be muzzled when they are off the track.
Happily, Victoria amended its legislation in 1999 to allow GAP Greyhounds to be exempt from wearing muzzles. Since that time, the number of retired Greyhounds adopted in Victoria has increased more than threefold. South Australia has followed suit and similarly amended its legislation in August of 2004, the ACT and Queensland in 2008.
2. Stop Greyhound and Whippet Racing
Every year millions of greyhounds and whippets are raced.
When these dogs do not want to race any longer many are euthanised due to this. It is unfair to these animals and if many weren't taken in by animal rescue centres around the world the death rates would be much higher.
3. No to redevelopment of the site of the Greyhound Pub
A planning application has been submitted to Lewisham Council for the redevelopment of the site of the Greyhound Pub. The proposed development is too high and will have a serious affect on the residents around it. This will lead to a loss of light and amenity for people in the area.
The development is also poorly designed and has no reference to the other buildings around it, a point particularly important in a conservation area.
Finally there is inadequate parking for the proposed housing and commercial uses.

To je kalvarija, ki se ne dogaja od včeraj, to se vendar dogaja že nekaj let.

a tutti gli allevatori di cani, che per lunghi anni avete assistito passivamente all'agonia di questi animali, a tutte le persone pertinenti, che con la vostra ignoranza non avete fatto altro che prolungare la loro sofferenza, e a tutti voi che eravate al corrente della situazione e non avete fatto nulla!
Si tratta di un calvario che sta andando avanti già da alcuni anni.

5. Ohio "Adopt a Greyhound" License Plate Petition
Team Greyhound of Ohio is coordinating an EXCITING effort to create an Ohio “Adopt a Greyhound” License Plate to recognize and generate funds to help with veterinary bills, every day foster dog costs and special training (obedience)for the retired greyhounds.
Many people in Ohio are active in greyhound adoption and truly value their mission to support the greyhounds – it’s an important part of their lives.
By participating in this project, it also gives volunteers of Team Greyhound of Ohio and affiliates an opportunity to help promote, support, and further the awareness of greyhound adoption state wide.
All proceeds generated will go to Team Greyhound of Ohio and dispersed to North Coast Greyhound Connection, Inc. and a portion of the total proceeds will also be donated to the Greyhound Health & Welfare Program at Ohio State University.
6. Racing Greyhound Provision in the Animal Welfare Bill
July 31, 2006
During the passage of the Animal Welfare Bill, earlier this year some MP's voted in support of an amendment which would have improved greyhound welfare by raising the priority for a welfare code; thereby determining a regulatory framework for all greyhound racing tracks. However, the Government voted against this on two occasions.
Instead, the Government has only loosely committed itself to welfare codes which probably won't be ready until 2010. I believe that the Government, who takes £70million in tax from this sector, can no longer wring its hands and try to blame someone else.
Of course, the industry itself also has a role to play, and unlike some animal welfare cases, there are funds available which could be put towards improving the welfare of greyhounds.
The government needs to reverse it's position on this and support the amendments.
Please help save the lives of millions of greyhounds. These poor dogs are pumped with steriods and then when they are done racing they are slaughtered if no one rescuses them in time. I had a greyhound that was my best friend that i rescued from the track and he only lived to be 7 years old. He died of cancer from the steriods and even the best medical tretment could not save his life. 8. End Greyhound Racing in the USA
This petition is made to help end the cruelty against greyhounds in the inhumane sport of greyhound racing.
9. Stop the blatant lies about Greyhound Racing
Many people become excited and emotional about Greyhound racing as a sport. They do so to the extend that they do not care if they tell half truths and blatant lies, to support their case. Of course, if you have a case, the TRUE FACTS will support it and no lieing will be neccesary.
I get sick to the stomach when I see, so-called civilised people not afraid to bend and twist the truth for their own emotional and sometimes evil agendas.
10. Stop Horse and Greyhound Racing in USA
STOP HORSE AND GREYHOUND RACING!!! IT IS MINDLESS ANIMAL ABUSE!!!!!

Once the favorite pet of pharaohs and kings, in modern-day America the greyhound is merely the means to an end for an intrinsically cruel and unnecessary form of gambling.
In dog racing, there is only one ultimate goal: profit. And when the graceful greyhounds don't meet that need, most are expendable. Some are placed as pets, but many must be killed - to the tune of up to an estimated 20,000 each year. The "fortunate" ones are killed humanely. Others become documented horror stories. But thousands disappear to fates unknown. PLEASE HELP US STOP GREYHOUND RACING!
I think greyhound racing should be banned! The poor dogs are killed if they don't run "fast" enough! I think it's cruel and unusual punishment for the dogs!
