Dear School Boards,
Parents and their children are getting way too much homework everyday. They can get hours and hours in one slab and not have the time to finish it. In school, when our teachers teach us about commitments, they say that they are good for us to learn and experience different things in life but my question is how are we supposed to do that if we can't go because of too much homework? We have lives too had I'm pretty sure that when you were a kid that you didn't like to get homework. Another thing. When children come to school with only half of their homework done and the teacher gets mad at them, the usual reason is because they had too much! You can't expect a grade 2 or 3 student to finish 2 hours of homework! It's wrong! So please, read each one of these signatures carefully because each of the people who had signed agree with me. Thanks and please take this to heart.
32. STOP OVERPLAY ON ALTERNATIVE STATIONS! 
We, the alternative-rock fans of Chicago, IL and other metropolitan areas, have become greatly disappointed with our alternative-format stations. I started listening to WZZN-FM, a Chicago alternative station last year. Why? Because it wasn't a pop station so I figured it would play a wide variety of songs in a night set. Recently I have noticed that the stations excessively play the songs that are making it big on the charts, or the "hot" songs, which we are all getting sick of. For example, I once heard "By The Way", by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, 3 times between 10 p.m. and 3:30 a.m. That's the same song 3 times in about 5 1/2 hours. And frankly, my fellow music fans and I are getting really f---in' sick of it. We propose that a limit should be set on the number of times a certain song is played per day, more attention is paid to independent, unsigned artists, and that a wider variety is put into the nightly playlists.
33. Fans for "TITUS"
FOX BROADCASTING canceled the television sitcom "TITUS" starring Christopher Titus in Mid-April 2002... We are signing this petition in hopes of getting the show back on the air, or in other words, so FOX can see how many loyal viewers they have lost by taking this action to cancel a show that they had said "Has very good ratings". If you are a loyal TITUS fan, support the cast Christopher Titus, Stacy Keech, Cynthia Watros, Zack Ward, and David Shatraw. With efforts on getting the show back on the air....
34. Time to stop short prison sentences
Too many criminals are getting off with a slap on the wrist. We need a major crack down on short sentence times: eg. the girl who commits a brutal pre-meditated murder and gets only 4 years in jail because she is 15 years old.
35. Please Jimmy Buffett - Help your Fans
Dear Mr. Buffett,
We, your fans, are asking for your help. The problem is the difficulty that your true fans have had in getting tickets to your concerts. Many fans stand in line for hours or spend hours on the phone and end up with no tickets. Ticket agents are able to get plenty of tickets before they even go on sale, yet we as your fans are not able to get tickets unless we pay the scalpers prices which range from $140-$600 for tickets with a face value of $60. Not to mention the orchestra and floor seats that scalpers sell for around $1500.
We realize that this problem is due in part to Ticketmaster. The only solution we have come up
with is to try and protest the actions of Ticketmaster by not buying any tickets from them. However, that would also mean we would never be able to see you and hear you in concert. We would like for you to look into trying to find a way to ensure that your fans are taken care of. We realize that this is a big undertaking, but some other performers have already tried different ways of doing this, so we know that it is possible to make a difference.
We ask that you please try to help you fans who have stuck with you through the
years and are now finding it difficult to pay $140.00 per ticket or face the thought of not spending our summers with you. We ask for you help for ourselves but also point out the fact that you are not seeing any of the money that the scalpers (ticket agents) are making on your name, talent and popularity. Taking some of the power away from Ticketmaster and the ticket agents will not only benefit your fans, it will benefit you.
Everyone who plays regularly at the boardwalk knows that there is something missing. Why? Because all the bemani we have, we have beat time and time again. I, among others, think that there is a wonderful solution to this; IIDX 6th mix. Sure, the boardwalk may not be very open to getting new machines, and with a justified reason; their new machine dmx does not bring it much revenue. It is basically collecting dust from all the regulars. And if money was a problem, they could sell hiphopmania and dmx. But IIDX would bring in much revenue, being that everyone would play it. Many people are getting sick of DDR, but no one's sick of IIDX, especially because it would be the only one in Santa Cruz.
Maybe people would even come from out of santa cruz to play, because I don't know of many of them.. but this is almost everyone's favorite IIDX mix *who has played it*, and it has the BEST bemani songs. Please sign to try and help the boardwalk.
37. Bring ZIM Back
Thursday night (1/17/02) word came down that Invader Zim has been cancelled. This is not a rumor as it has been confirmed by the Zim cast and crew: Wally Wingert (voice of Red), Richard Horvitz (voice of Zim), Jhonen himself, and various others. Nickelodeon has, as of now, not made any press release as to why, nor is expected too.
Fortunately, cancelled does not yet mean off the air. Invader Zim will still air on Sundays for an unknown amount of time.
Since production was halted in the midst of making a new season, we'll still be getting a few new episodes (including Battle of the Planets, Tak: The Hideous New Girl, and Dib's Wonderful Life of Doom). But any episode that was nowhere near complete at the time of the cancellation is scrapped. Which means we won't be seeing "The Trial" which, according to Wally, had the Almighty Tallest when they were younger. Nor will we be getting Return of Keef, Simon says DOOM, Invader Poonchy, and many others.
See If we can get it Back!!!
