1. Extend Discretionary Leave to Remain for Glendon Llewellyn Lloyd

We came to the UK from Australia for a family holiday in July 2004. I fell in love with UK and decided I wanted to stay (many asked WHY !!)

My loving wife and children Eddie, Ben and Lucy are English, I am Australian (a Commonwealth county)
I made the mistake of not lodging a formal application to stay immediately I fell in love (but then who says I love you straight away!) although I had discussed with the UKBA my desire to stay and how to best go about this - I was born under a British and Colonies passport in Rhodesia (aka Zimbabwe). Following lengthy discussions I lodged an acceptable application in July 2006.

3 years of being stateless (unable to work and support my family, paid for and missed 3 family holidays) I was finally granted Discretionary Leave to Remain in July 2009.

I willingly give (and love) the 10-12 hours a week I give to my local community coaching youth rugby and football teams and acting as business manager for a local rugby club. My businesses export on behalf of the UK and pay £10's of £1,000's in VAT.

Learned my lesson and lodged my extension to remain for the next 3 years within specific, stipulated guidelines on the 15th June 2012.

Booked (and paid for) what will be our first holiday in years and am now fighting to get my visa ratified in time to allow me to go with my family.

They are telling me to wait 6 months before even contacting them to discuss it........?

Please help me!

Cheers,

Glendon

2. Suspend TPPA and EU-Malaysia FTA talks

The Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement is a free trade agreement under negotiation among nine countries, including the US and Malaysia.

The problem is the agreement deals with other non-trade issues, like investor rights, which affect how foreign companies do business, and patent rights, which affect access to affordable medicines. To make matters worse, the agreement is being negotiated in secrecy. And the countries hope to sign the agreement by the end of the year.

The EU-Malaysia Free Trade Agreement is another free trade agreement being negotiated between Malaysia and the 27 member states of the European Union. Similar to the TPPA, there are elements in the agreement that governs patent rights, which could harm access to cheap medicines. Although the negotiations are top secret as well, we are already seeing the destructive effects of such an agreement in India.

For more information, go to http://www.ftamalaysia.org

3. STOP THE DESTRUCTION OF NATURE PARK ZLATIBOR

The magnificent evergreen forest on Mt. Zlatibor is letting go under strikes of chainsaws and heavy machinery.

With pine trees taller than 15 meters and older than 70 years, stretching over 500 acres of forest land it is a predominantly influential Nature Park and self preserving ecosystem on Zlatibor.

Planted immediately upon the end of the Second World War it bore status of protected natural wealth and had become a habitat to numerous animal and plant species.

Today it's a host to a large number of families of squirrels and rabbits, also turtles, moles, hedgehogs, ant colonies, lizard dens and various birds such are robins, woodpeckers, ouzels, owls, wild pigeons, magpies, etc.

Abusing state's law regulations on environmental protection and disregarding obligatory acts of Aarhus Convention the local authorities issued The General Plan according to which the Nature Park is turned into zone of tourism and high commerce.

WARNING: The Nature Park is undergoing heavy deforestation and soil devastation by local Zlatibor authorities and Serbian Orthodox Church. Biodiversity is threatened with extinction as workers and machinery plow through in preparation to build communication and drainage network.

IMPORTANT: Please pay attention to the 5 min documentary below.

5. I'm an animal loving tourist - I think?

Did you know that before and after the European tourist season, governments clean the streets from cats and dogs in, for example: Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Turkey?

Many animals are poisoned and die a very painful death, others are beaten to death, or hanged and strangled. Many are hit by cars and left to die.

Some end up in horrible captivity where life is frightening and tormenting, and many die of disease or starvation. Enclosures in these countries are hot in summer and cold in winter. The animals die from heat stroke or freeze to death. The country and the business sector does not want that these animals disturb the good impression of their country and affect tourism negatively.

None of these countries have made efforts to curb the stray animal population by neutering campaigns, or information about neutering to the public. Instead, these countries chose to poison or otherwise get rid of their abandoned, unwanted companion animals. Never or rarely do they punish someone for abuse or murder of animals. These countries are making a strict difference between an animal with an owner and an abandoned animal. In these countries, an abandoned animal can be treated as badly as you like and in many eyes they are seen as unwanted debris that disrupts the community.

Some of these countries still enjoy the torture of bulls during bullfights and have a variety of traditions in which animals are involved and tormented. In all these countries, dogs are used for hunting. These dogs are treated very badly and starvation to death is common between the hunting seasons. They are often killed or abandoned after a bad game.

6. China says ready to help solve EU crisis - NO thanks!

BEIJING - 14 February 2012 - EU meeting with China in Beijing.

China's Premier Wen Jiabao said China wanted to see Europe -- its biggest trading partner -- "maintain stability and prosperity", a day after ratings agency Moody's downgraded Italy, Spain and Portugal.

The two sides also agreed during the talks to give fresh impetus to Beijing's efforts to attain full market economy status (MES) for China in the European Union, according to a joint communique issued after the summit.

"China is ready to increase its participation in resolving the EU debt problems," the Chinese premier told journalists after meeting EU president Herman Van Rompuy and European Commission president Jose Manuel Barroso.

China was considering using Europe's bail-out funds to help address the continent's fiscal woes, Wen added, without elaborating further on how the Asian power might be prepared to contribute.

"China will continue to fully meet its World Trade Organization commitments," he said. "It will continue to expand market access."

//In this case we have the spotlight on China as it concerns a political position. The petition says that we European citizens do not want to increase our trade with China. We want instead to an end. We want to INCREASE the embargo against China.

This is to force China to adjust its animal welfare. This is only possible through the economic force of China, to institute laws prohibiting Chinese to torment, torturing and skinning animals alive. Some Chinese people seem completely brainwashed to carry out these atrocities.

We know there are good people in China who are fighting for the animals and there are those we sustain through this petition. For animal friends there are no borders.//

9. Take politics out of the Remembrance Day Parade at the Cenotaph in Whitehall, London

The Annual Remembrance Day Parade at the Cenotaph in Whitehall is the nation’s homage to all those from the British Isles and Commonwealth who laid down their lives in two great world Wars and other conflicts to preserve our freedom.

The Conservative, Labour and Lib Dem parties clearly have little or no regard or respect for the citizens of our country, the defence of this country, the Commonwealth, HM The Queen and the principles for which the fallen we are remembering, died for. They are even sending dead servicemens' coffins down the back streets to prevent the public from paying their respects.

A Pro Veritate et Iustitia felhívja a nyilvánosság figyelmét arra, hogy a magyar történeti alkotmány hatályon kívül helyezése óta hozott törvények legitimitása megkérdőjelezhető, azok felülvizsgálata szükséges.

A Pro Veritate et Iustitia felhívás támogatói kérik hazánk jogfolytonosságának visszaállítását! A meglévő történeti alkotmány, a mai kor követelményei szerint modernizálva szolgálná a magyarság érdekeit a jelenben és a jövőben.

I to - bez ikakvog objašnjenja!

16. Stop the Traditional Herbal Medicinal Products Directive

The Traditional Herbal Medicinal Products Directive (THMPD) is presented as a service to European citizens and as simple to apply. However, close examination of its methods in practice demonstrates that the reality will be an egregious abridgement of the rights of individuals to obtain and use the health treatments they choose.

While it benefits citizens for governmental agencies to advise on efficacy and safety of products that have been commonly and freely used by utilising a particular method of inquiry, that information may not address the needs of individuals and presumes that there is only one system for obtaining accurate and beneficial information. That is equivalent to allowing only one religion as the accepted source of truth.

The costs and systems required by THMPD are generally not manageable by small manufacturers, which are the predominant suppliers of herbal products. This results in an unfair competitive advantage to multinational corporations, which ultimately limits the individual's access to quality and selection in herbal medicinal products.

With THMPD, the European Union has overstepped and is severely restricting the unwritten rights of each human being to choose and access methods of managing health. It is a dangerous usurpation of civil rights that assumes the individual does not have the ability to make proper health decisions. Self-determination in matters of health must be treated as an inherent civil right, and THMPD is an abrogation of it.

Read this to see the sort of madness that the EU Commission is already enacting--and that you may help stop by signing this petition.

19. Hold a Referendum on the Lisbon Treaty

In November 2009 the UK became part of an effective EU superstate, this of course is known by its name of the Lisbon Treaty which our country signed, however the ordinary citizen of Britain was never consulted in the process of signing the Lisbon Treaty.

However one little known part of the Lisbon Treaty has saved the day. Citizen's Initiative means that any signature that gets 1,000,000 signatures can be introduced as a bill in the European parliament. So the idea is to get Lisbon Treaty referendum as a bill in the European parliament.

20. David Cameron should keep his promise and hold a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty

We want David Cameron to keep his promise and hold a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty or we will not vote Conservative.

Recently, the chairman of the Conservative Party, David Cameron, has told voters that his party will not be holding a public referendum on the EU Lisbon Treaty, despite his iron-clad promise in 2007 assuring us that one would be held.

It is abhorrent that a major political party has cut we, the British people, out of affairs that would directly affect us. It is the people that make up the UK and without us, the Conservative Party would not even exist. We demand the right to be heard.

21. Time for the political elite to re-evalute what they are doing.

The World is going in the wrong direction, politically and socially - it is time for the political elite to re-evalute what they are doing.

Everyone agrees these are challenging times - but are we going in the right direction, politically, and doing the right things. I fear not.

More and more we see an insane amount of new regulations entering our lives, many of which are ill thought out, make things worse in some respect and don't actually solve any real problems. The new EU wide banking restictive regulations are a case to consider - not yet applied, but all of the talk suggests it will be another cow designed by a committee.

Our lives have been alterd to a huge degree by oppressive legislation, allegedly against terrorists, but we find councils taking advantage of such to spy on people who may not be in a school catchment area.

The UN issues decrees, for example, they wrote to all governments saying that very young kids should get explicit sexual education. There are no sane grounds for this, and the fact that the UN has been implicated in perversions involving kids does not make this an organisation I want to trust. The UN also interferred in the UK by saying the Monarchy should be abolished.

As more and more politically motivated global organisations spread their combined messages, they are not one of sanity, rather, they are moving us towards a single political solution - a one size fits all kind of world, where people are ignored by those in power that would only push their own agenda, despite any messages they would get from the people who are more and more under the effect of bad government.

The EU is perhaps the best example of a runaway political movement that doesn't involve the people in its decisions. I will just say "The Lisbon Treaty" - Need I say more.

OK, so we are going the wrong political direction, given that many of the proposed solutions, and this involves the worst excesses of the environmental lobby, are of the type that the old USSR would have been proud of.

Innovation and personal integrity are being stifled. Responsibility for everything now is with some governing body, be it an unelected quango or some hidden 'crat lurking behind a government minister.

This is not how it was meant to be. Politicians have failed us miserably by creating terrorism, when diplomacy would have been the sane approach, but whose purpose is being served in this matter?

22. Save Our Watts

SAVE OUR WATTS!

This is a petition against the EU removing the measure of power "watts" from lightbulbs and replacing them with the measure "lumens". From September next year, lightbulbs in the European Union will no longer be marked with wattage, they will instead be marked in lumens. There is fear these bulbs are linked to several health issues including skin rashes, migraine and epilepsy. There are also safety concerns because of their mercury content, which makes them difficult and dangerous to dispose of. Watts is our standard measure for the power produced by a lightbulb and is understood worldwide. This will also undoubtly have an affect on our children aswell, as watts is often used in Physics and is an intracil part of it. However without this in mainstream society, it will most likely prove to be negative on our children's understanding of the measure.

The Watt is named after Scotsman James Watt, the developer of the steam engine amongst other creations such as rotary engine and letter copying press (essentialy a very early photocopier). The unit of power was first accepted into the British Association for the Advancement of Science in 1889 and since it's acception into the International System of Units in 1960 it has been ever-present on almost every lightbulb world-wide.

Man will sie lediglich in Verbänden organisiert wissen.

27. Tiukempi ampuma-aselaki Suomeen - Finland needs tougher gun legislation

Within less than a year, Finland has seen two separate school shooting tragedies.

On 7 November 2007, Pekka-Eric Auvinen, 18, shot dead eight and himself at Jokela High School in Tuusula, southern Finland; on 23 September 2008, Matti Juhani Saari, 22, killed ten and himself at the college of Kauhajoki, western Finland.

Both Auvinen and Saari committed their murders by .22 calibre semi-automatic handguns, which both of them had legally obtained and registered with the police less than a month before the incidents. Both had received their permits on the grounds that target shooting at shooting range was their hobby. Auvinen was a member of a local shooting club, even if the club later confirmed that he had only attended a single one-hour training session there. As of the evening of 23 September it was still unclear whether Saari was a member to any shooting club; in legislation membership is not even a requirement. As is the common practice in Finland, both stored their guns in their homes.

With 56 firearms per 100 inhabitants, Finland has the world's third highest (official) gun ownership ratio in the world, behind only the US and Yemen. This reflects both a long national tradition of hunting and sport shooting, as well as, relatedly, a comparatively lax gun legislation.

Not only are hunting firearms (e.g. shotguns, rifles) easy to acquire by standards of any other any other rich-world country, but also handguns (e.g. pistols), with no relevant hunting purpose, can be obtained with very little inconvenience. (It is telling that Auvinen, a 18-year-old first-time licensee, had initially applied permit for a deadlier 9 mm Beretta pistol; this was denied as too powerful for a beginner, but since he had no criminal record such a request did not allow/oblige the police to either reject or vet further his second application.)

The Finnish government is currently preparing a new gun legislation. The need for a new law was prompted by an EU directive which mandates the countries to forbid the selling of firearms to people who are under 18 years old (something that Finland until the Jokela massacre opposed), and up to date was not meant to include any other major changes.

By signing this petition you express your concern over the Finnish gun laws, and demand the legislator to review them considerably further and sooner than required by the European Union.

Guns indeed never kill people, but they make it much easier. That's why owning them must be made more difficult.

30. Northern Cyprus to be a Recognised Country

Why is it that Northern Cyprus is one of the most in demand countries in Europe in regards to properties, holidays and living. But the countries around the world still refuse to recognise North Cyprus as a country.

Still stopping Northern Cyprus from expressing, selling or buying on the common market.
