31. Complete COPS The Animated Series on DVD
Petition update: AWESOME! Mill Creek Entertainment will be releasing the Entire C.O.P.S. series on DVD early next year! Click here for details!
C.O.P.S. (Central Organization of Police Specialists) is a late 80s' animated series created by DiC Entertainment that aired between 1988-1989. The show aired again in 1993 on Saturday mornings in syndication as CyberCOPS. to avoid confusion with the live action version of COPS, the reality TV show. The series is all about a former federal agent Baldwin P. "Bulletproof" Vess leading his team of futuristic police officers against a criminal mastermind known as The Big Boss and his army of thugs who are running amok in Empire City in the year 2020.
Here's the C.O.P.S. episode The Case of The Lowest Crime for example.
It gained many fans from around the world who grew up enjoying the series along with its unforgettable characters such as Bulletproof Vess, Buttons McBoomBoom, Big Boss, Nightshade, Mace, Berserko, Highway, Sundown, LongArm, Barricade, Dr. BadVibes, and many others.
On February 28, 2006, Shout! Factory released only the first 22 episodes of C.O.P.S. on DVD. But, due to poor sales in the market, Shout! Factory have decided not to release the rest of the series out on DVD. This is unacceptable. Especially when nowadays, so many complete series of classic shows are being released on DVD left and right, including The Littles, The Complete Series, Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3: The Complete Series, and Super Powers Team: Galactic Guardians: The Complete Series to name a few. Therefore, C.O.P.S. must be given a second chance.
This time, the series must be released on DVD as a complete series, with all 66 episodes released in either one or two boxsets and be formatted with eye popping features and catchy promotions to attract more buyers and achieve better sales in major retailers stores such as Best Buy and Wal*Mart. We the undersigned wish to see the complete series of C.O.P.S. (All 66 episodes, uncut and in high quality picture and sound.) be released on DVD so we can relive the memories of yesteryear watching the show every weekday morning and afternoon as well as watch them every Saturday mornings on CBS over and over again.
We also wish to have the DVD include commercial intros and back to the show segments, commercial promotions to the show, more concept artwork, and all the rest of the C.O.P.S. for Kids Segments, including segments featuring the Live action police officers giving out safety tips to viewers, Highway telling viewers don't steal the signs, LongArm telling kids don't smoke, and all the others.

Today Cold Case has been sold to over thirty countries, six continents and reaches over 300 million people around the world. Cold Case is definitely one of the best 21st century’s shows. But still you can’t watch it from DVD.
The meaning of Wanted: Cold Case DVDs is to collect 10 000 names internationally, so we could get what we want – the first, second, third and eventually the fourth season of Cold Case. It is outrageous that almost every American series has it’s own DVD-box but Cold Case doesn’t. Many of the world’s TV-channels don’t even recap the series because the contract doesn’t allow showing the series twice. It means that when you’ve watched it once, you won’t have a second time to enjoy it if you didn’t record it.
Some people download episodes from the internet because it’s the only way to see Cold Case again. We want to support Cold Case and give more visibility to one of the world’s best TV-show. Cold Case is much more than TV-show, it teaches about the world and it is certainly art. Teachers could use DVDs in their classes, e.g. you could show Daniela to young people and present how hard it is to live in this world when you are different. Cold Case is amazingly emotional and it’s rare to find a show like this. There are many reasons why Cold Case deserves to be in DVD-format. The beauty of it, the stories, the music, characters and a unique way to film the show makes Cold Case definitely one of the best shows in the world.

34. The Suite Life of Zack & Cody Season Set
May 28, 2006
The goal is to get the first season of The Suite Life of Zack & Cody on Dvd.
This petition is an effort to try to coerce Warner Bros./Warner Home Video to release the television show, Homefront, onto DVD. Homefront was a drama which aired on ABC from 1991-1993.
It was a wonderful show about life right after WWII ended and the soldier's returned home.
Please know that your information will be kept private, and will not be posted on the web. Name, email address, and country is required, other than that it's up to you.
And please, only sign your name once and limit your signatures to one entry per household, as this makes the petition more legitimate in the eyes of Warner Bros.
36. Get Disney Channel Original Movie-Genius put on DVD or VHS
I'm not here to please, I'm here to get support. When I was ten years old a wonderful movie came out as a Disney Channel Original Movie called Genius, starring the now prominent actors Trevor Morgan and Emmy Rossum(she's the young girl pitured with the phantom in the petition image).
I recently went to look for this movie to add to my collection of feel good childhood films to find that it had not even been released on VHS let alone DVD.
I was disappointed to say the least, I really love those happy films that make you smile, and it's also one of the only good television movies for kids ever made.It made me wonder why so many other movies were put on a viewable format, Genius came out in 1999 and there is still no set release date, even though some of the worst movies have been released along with the terrible sequels.
In short I would like you people to help assist me in getting this great movie distributed to children just like me. Thank you all very much for your help and support.
On January 14th, 2005, Marvel Enterprises in association with Recengy Films released the motion picture "Elektra," based on the Marvel comic of the same name. Recently, it has been announced that "Elektra" will be available on DVD April 5th, 2005, but with minimal features.
As quoted from www.dvdanswers.com:
"Fox Home Entertainment has officially announced Elektra which stars Jennifer Garner and Goran Visnjic. The disc will be available to own from the 5th April, and should set you back around $29.98. The film itself will be presented in anamorphic widescreen along with both English DTS 5.1 and Dolby Digital 5.1 audio tracks. Extras will include three deleted scenes (running to around five minutes in total), a thirteen minute making of Elektra featurette, a Comic-Con Presentation, an Inside the Editing Room feature which looks at the editing for several different scenes and both the theatrical teaser and trailer. Completing this new package will be a soundtrack promo and an Inside Look at the Fantastic Four and Mr. & Mrs. Smith."
Meanwhile, the motion picture that "Elektra" is a spin-off of, "Daredevil" has not only a two-disc DVD release, but also a rather well-done Director's Cut. "Elektra" deserves as much, not some DVD with minimal bonus features and *gasp* three minutes of deleted scenes, whereas Daredevil had 30 minutes worth. Many, many photos released prior to the theatrical release show scenes never included, so it's not as though only three minutes were removed.
Please help us give Elektra a worth DVD! Many people who disliked "Daredevil" saw the Director's Cut verion of it and absolutely loved it! Elektra should be given an equal chance!
The following is what has been described as the opening, but we never saw... "The Fox logo will show up, the Marvel logo (which transforms into red silk-looking sheets that fade out). In the opening credits you see the Elektra bleeding on the floor, with paramedics coming. They pick her up, and bring her into the ambulance. During this, there's a commentary by a man, explaining why exactly Elektra's dying. No references are made to DareDevil, so if you haven't seen DareDevil, it'll make sense as well, that she was just a fallen warrior out on a mission" the source said.
"It's an early version, so text had not been added to this print. They show Elektra in the ambulance (same scene as seen on the official Elektra site - www.elektramovie.com), but extended. They give up, and she dies. The screen fades to black and the Elektra logo appears.
After that, the movie starts the resurrection scene and then Elektra travels to a snowy house for her next target. I have not seen anything after that, so I'm not sure what happens in the rest of the film."
38. Put Big Wolf on Campus On DVD
Big Wolf On Campus is about the trials, tribulations, and epic battles (so much for alliteration) of Tommy Dawkins, a popular football player who undergoes some unexpected changes after being bitten by a werewolf a few days before his senior year of high school, and his friends, Gothic Fantasy Guild president Merton Dingle and adventure-hungry kickboxer Lori Baxter.
The series aired on BBC2 in Great Britain on Sunday mornings. Big Wolf aired on YTV in Canada. A French-dubbed version of the series titled Le Loup Garou du Campus aired in Quebec on VRAK TV weekdays. Australian viewers could catch Big Wolf on Fox Kids weekdays. ABC Family dropped Big Wolf from their schedule in mid-September 2002 .
It was a wonderful show and very cool. I loved it, as did many others. People everywhere are yearning for the series on DVD, all 65 episodes. Please help us get it on DVD!
39. Disney, sell the rights to biker mice from mars to a company that will put the show on DVD!
Biker mice from mars was an animated series that aired from 1993-2001 in many countries around the world. In all, 65 episodes were produced from 1993-1995. The Walt Disney company currently owns the rights to the show. Disney has not expressed any interest in airing this show on its channels or releasing it on DVD.
We, the undersigned, believe that Disney should sell the rights to this show to a company that will put all 65 episodes on DVD. Rick Ungar, the series creator, says that there is an 80% chance of the development of a new biker mice from mars series. The new series may be on the air in 2005.
First season biker mice from mars VHS can be found on online auction sites like ebay or amazon.
40. Bring episodes of "Knots Landing" to DVD
In 1979, "Knots Landing", a CBS nighttime soap, made its debut. It was a spin-off of "Dallas", a soap opera that featured Larry Hagman as J.R. Ewing. This soap featured stars like Michele Lee, Joan Van Ark, and Ted Shackleford.
We, the fans of the show, want this show out on DVD. We would also want season sets of the show out on DVD so that we can relive the whole show.
41. Bring episodes of "Capitol" to DVD
The soap opera "Capitol" was seen on CBS from 1982 until 1987. The show was taped at CBS Television City in Hollywood, CA. In 1987, it was replaced by current CBS soap "Bold and the Beautiful".
We the fans of the show want CBS Home Video to consider putting out a DVD box set with some of the best episodes of "Capitol" on DVD. We want to do this so that we can relive what the show was all about.
