It takes 4.6 seconds to send and/or receive a text message, the equivalent at 55 MPH of driving the length of an entire football field blind.
In 2010, 3092 people were killed in crashes involving texting distracted driver and an estimated additional 416,000 were injured in motor vehicle crashes involving a texting distracted driver.
2. Demand for the Four Lion Rampant Flag to be the Logo on Car Licences in Wales
Baner Tywysogaeth Gwynedd oedd baner y Pedwar Llew yn wreiddiol ond yn dilyn cwymp y Dywysogaeth yn 1283, mabwysiadwyd y faner, yn wreiddiol, gan Owain Llaw Goch ac yna gan Owain Glyndŵr. Roedd y ddau yn ddisgynyddion i dywysogion Gwynedd gyda'r hawl i fabwysiadu'r faner. Newidiwyd y llewod i fod yn rhai 'rampiant' gan Owain Llaw Goch ac yna defnyddiwyd y fersiwn yna o'r faner gan Owain Glyndŵr yn ystod ei Rhyfel fawr Dros Annibyniaeth.
O dan y faner yma bu Cymru'n annibynnol o tua 1403 hyd at tua 1410 a gan mai baner Harri Tudur oedd un y ddraig goch ar gefndir gwyrdd a gwyn, wedi ei hatgyfodi yn 1958, rydym, fel gwladgarwyr, ond yn cydnabod baner y Pedwar Llew Rampiant fel gwir faner genedlaethol Cymru a gan fod cynlluniau ar y gweill gan David Cameron a Llywodraeth Lloegr i osod Jac yr Undeb ar drwyddedau gyrru ym Mhrydain, rydym yn mynnu ein hawliau dinesig i gael Pedwar Llew Rampiant Tywysog Owain Glyndŵr ar drwyddedau gyrru yng Nghymru.
The Four Lions Rampant was, originally, the Four Lions Passive flag of The Royal House of Gwynedd in Snowdonia, North Wales. Following the fall of the Royal House of Gwynedd, it was adoped by the rightful heir, the great warrior Prince, Owain Glyndŵr during his war of Independence 1400 - 1421ish and the 'passive lions' were changed into 'rampant lions' to illustrate that the Cymru (Welsh) were up in arms.
Under this flag, Cymru (Wales) was independent between 1403 - 1410ish and, as the red dragon on a green and white background was the standard of Henry Tudor King of England and was only resurrected in 1958, we as Welsh patriots only recognise the Four Lions Rampant as the true flag of Cymru and as plans are being drawn up by David Cameron to have the Union flag or Crest to appear on "British" driving licences, we demand our civil right to have the Four Lion Rampant flag of the Cymric people's Prince, Prince Owain Glyndŵr on Cymric (Welsh) driving licences.
3. Stop ADOT from costing and forbidding people the right to drive
Have you ever made the mistake and lost your license for any reason at all? What if you had been pulled over for any reason while it was invalid. do you know that they extend your right to drive a year every time. Not just a year ticket free but stacked. ex: i lost my license my own fault but right after i had to move twice in a short period of time.
I got pulled over numerous times in same vehicle the reason it wasn't towed was due to amount of personal belongings in it, obviously i didn't have much choice i had to move. anyways those tickets added up and its already been four years no license two years since last ticket and four more until they will allow me to apply for a license. Ridiculous!
4. Keep South Australia's driving age at 16
The minimum driving age should be kept at 16! Changing it to 18 will not make the drivers any more careful, because they are basically the same maturity. They should just make getting licences a little stricter but don't change the age at which you can drive!
I'm 14, and I'm in year 10. So i'm young for my year. People in my year are getting their licences in a month! And I would have to wait till next year, but it the legal age changes I will have to wait 2 years, and will have my L's in UNI!! Plus I have a large family and live far away from school, so it would be so much better if I could drive myself next year.
5. Pedestrian Crosswalk for the Intersection of Arlington Ave and West 21st Street
A new school has just been built and open for session early this year, you would taught the city of los angeles would notice that and put in a pedestrian crosswalk for the safety of children going and coming out of school.
Parents have to be dodging cars in the busy mornings and afternoon dropping off and picking up their children from school. THIS BUSY INTERSECTION IS LOCATED AT WEST 21ST STREET AND ARLINGTON AVE IN THE 90018 ZIPSODE.
6. Allow disabled people access to all on street parking bays 24/7
Earlier this year Reading Borough Council instigated a number of changes to disabled parking bays and the times during which they can be accessed.
These changes include restricting access to the majority of the on road bays immediately surrounding the town centre so that they may only be accessed from 11am to 4pm and again after 7pm.
The roads most affected are St Mary's Butts, West Street and Friar Street
This has made it unreasonably difficult for many disabled people to access the shops and other facilities in the town.
A council representative has claimed that the the majority of people are happy with the changes, this is obviously true as the majority of people are not disabled and have little or no understanding of the real life ramifications of these changes for disabled people.
Examples of things that are now virtually impossible for many disabled people to do include:
A drink out with work friends/ family after work,
A meal before seeing a show at the local theatre
Early morning shopping to beat the crowds
Staying in town after shopping to eat out
Getting to one of the opticians who has served the community for many years
Getting to a number of well known high street shops
The current proposals to resolve the access issues appears to be to force all blue badge holders into wheelchairs of some form (Shop mobility) regardless of their individual needs and to expect the local shops/traders to cover the cost.
With economic downturn comes cuts, and the proposals leave disabled people reliant upon the funding of retailers/traders and upon charities. If they decide to remove the funding in the future, disabled people will be yet again unable to use the town and its facilities
The only long term way to ensure access to the town for disabled people during the same periods as able bodied people is to provide appropriately placed kerbside parking that is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
7. Stop the Texas Surcharge Program
The Driver Responsibility Program is governed by Texas Transportation Code, Chapter 708, which established a system to assess surcharges based on certain traffic offenses that have occurred on or after September 1, 2003.
A surcharge is an administrative fee charged to a driver based on the convictions reported to the driving record. There are two criteria that determine if a surcharge will be assessed. Those two criteria are: Point System and Conviction Based surcharges.
Surcharges are in addition to all other reinstatement fees required for other administrative actions and do not replace any administrative suspension, revocation, disqualification or cancellation action that results from these same convictions.
This is so bad that for a few thousand bucks the Texas legislature would ruin everyone's livelihood. This law is making the Texas economy worse. There are so many people driving with a license suspended that there will be a time when no one's license is valid.
Unconstitutional Double Jeopardy! This is outrageous there is no public transportation in all areas. It just goes to show you how you can go just about everywhere and see alcohol advertizments and alcohol everywhere you drive too. I just thinks it is hypocritical to have alcohol available everywhere and have these types of surcharge laws.
How about making a law that you can only drink alcohol at home. Not only for alcohol but if you get a traffic ticket.. you lose your license... you get overcharged!
8. Support Annual Driver Check-Ups after Age 65
Something terrible just happened to one of our friends. He is a trucker and was doing one of his jobs. It happened in Key West. He stepped out of his truck and a Buick car with and 85 year old man and an 83 year old woman hit him and dragged him 20 feet from his truck.
Long story short, he died. We were all devastated. The Buick stopped 400 feet from the truck. We don't know why they stopped so far but i think there should be a law about this.
9. Lower the Driving age in Kansas
I am 18 years old, and am a current License holder.
However, I believe that kids at least 15 should be able to receive a license in the state of Kansas.
10. Repair Boughton Road in Bolingbrook, IL
In the Village of Bolingbrook, IL between Weber Road and Illinois Route 53, the far right (southern) East-bound lane of Boughton Road is splitting down the middle and has uneven (not level) pavement. In certain sections, there has been maintenance work and there are two rectangular man-hole covers approximately every 500 feet.
The patched pavement around these covers is rough and in places higher than a speed-bump, which can cause severe strain or damage to vehicle tires, struts, and shocks.
11. Bring Taxi Service to Grindrod B.C.
Small community 12km from Enderby with a pub and many senior residents needs taxi service. Taxi service stops 4 km short of the community! (more info added tomorrow).
12. Reshape the World to Improve our Lives
This petition for us all helping each other out on things. Let's have confidence in signing this petition and be confident on this petition. This petition is in need of confidence. Politicians don't completely have the power to change those things but this petition is to go to all those around the world that do. This petition could also go to state politicians.
This petition is mostly so much affecting us. The economy was in the worst shape in the great depression in world history and this petition is also on the economic recovery. If it has recovered before after the great depression it should again. This is almost anything to take action for and anyone to send the letters for reshaping the world. I send this to Americans as well as we need to take responsibility for our own actions .This petition is supposed to go to people that can do things about those situations and in control of all that stuff that this petition is about so it's not just to politicians. There is American greed as well as corporate greed in the world and that's part of the problem with the economic downfall. This is mostly on the economy in bad shape. It's not just oil companies greedy that affect us. We know from the bad economy allot of work hours get cut or businesses cut short on employees. Let's even take action to get the unemployment rate to the lowest we can get. It's also that budget cuts are said to be bad for the economy but the economic crisis and financial crisis world wide appears to trigger budget cuts to become common. We have had the global financial crisis as well in those past years. This petition is to take action for reshape from that as well. Part of it was that the economy was discovered to be in bad shape. This petition is also for taking action on recession.
There have been college prices ridiculous as well and having to raise prices of things because of high gas prices as of 2008. That's ridiculous. Colleges might not be greedy but many things are having prices even too high. Part of signing this petition is for helping the poor in the world. Maybe even fares and tolls are ridiculous. Part of this petition is on tax cuts along with taking action on property taxes ridiculous. As of again this petition goes to all the people in control of that as of the target of this petition being to Americans but could be forwarded to people all over the world. This petition goes to all people around the world in control of the prices of gas and oil as well. This is to all those in control of those prices all over the world.
There are other businesses greedy. There must be other things than greed in businesses or ridiculous prices of things upsetting the economy. There had to be budget cuts and there are hours of workers being cut along with maybe salaries. Even businesses having to cut short on employees. There had to even be budget cuts. Cuts on things were getting common in 2007. There was the global financial crisis in 2007 as this petition is also for taking action on that. There might as well be cuts on businesses doing business in the recession. We know that businesses lost business to high gas prices, the economic issues and even anything else affecting us with even businesses gone out of business. Even education cut backs from the economy crisis got common.
This is a bit about undoing so much damage that the Bush/Cheney administration had done just. There has been allot of blaming the Bush/Cheney administration for the economy out of shape and high gas prices as George W. Bush was in oil businesses.
We want to have this petition to the people in control of things. Part of the problem on the economy crisis is that prices of things are too high and it's not good for business as it could chase away customers. So much greed and stupidity in the world to how the economy is in bad shape. This is the reason is goes to Americans. It's like the people in control of the situations like even car insurance as well. This petition is also to go to those in control of the prices of gas. Maybe as long as cars run on gas there could be more support on fuel efficient cars and cars running on the better alternatives than gas. There should even be airplanes, helicopters, boats, truck and buses fuel efficient along with other motor vehicles. Maybe even all those other motor vehicles along with cars have the better energy sources than gas. This is even about getting the prices of gas to the lowest they can get to or anything on the lowest the prices can be.
There are waiting lists on things. It's not just to get lessons to drive cars or commercial vehicles but issues with joining emergency services and the unemployment rate is at the highest. The job issues and issues with joining emergency services are more important than issues with driving schools. This could happen in highly populated areas that driving schools for cars have too many on the waiting lists to get everyone on waiting lists. Not all driving schools in the world have waiting lists but so many private driving schools have long waiting lists. There have been enrollments affected by the bad economy as driving schools can't accept enrollments usually. Most people in the world use common sense as first time driver's license applicants with learner's permits learning to drive use driving schools and driving schools easily get affected by economic issues. It's common sense or many of us use common sense as first time driver's license applicants with learner's permits to have behind the wheel with a driving school for being safer to learn to drive and car insurance reductions. It’s not just the behind the wheel lessons that are on waiting lists of driving schools as we believe. There could be almost anything on waiting lists for driving schools. Also there should be more people to get qualified to train people with special needs to drive and all driving schools in the world should cater special needs and they’ll get more businesses. There is the Americans with Disabilities Act and laws against discrimination. This petition goes to all those who can do something about this.
Let's take action to improve our lives when signing this petition. You others could share this with people you know to get them to sign if they can. You people should comment on petition signatures what you are taking action for or just leave comments on the signatures to this petition. This could fit in more signatures whether or not those petitions reached their signature goals.
There are oil companies greedy and selfish and we consider it price gouging and profiteering. Also this is to help in putting things back together in the economic recovery as we are all affected in different ways by the economy out of shape. This petition is even on sharing thoughts and concerns with politicians.
This petition isn't all about undoing damage of the Bush/Cheney administration. This petition is mostly about the economy. This could take years for the economy recovery as this petition is mostly on the economy. It's longer then thought on the economy in bad shape. There are other things than ridiculous prices of things to upset economy. We know that there have been banking issues and stock market crashes. Things even go rare in the economic crash. This could even take years of our lives to recover from years of the economy in bad shape. This petition is under politics since there are politicians to send this too. It's not all on politics. It would be helpful to put comments in signatures and what you are taking action for when signing this petition. This petition is being linked with petitions that are what this petition is about so only 1,000 signatures are needed and could get more signatures if the goal is reached and should still be opened after reaching 1,000 signatures on it. There are people with certain jobs to not share this petition with and you others could share this petition with people you know to get signatures on it. This is also for help putting back together things from the economy crisis that's longer than we thought.
This could happen anywhere being affected by the economic downfall. This is on any of the situations affecting us in the past years of when this petition was created. This petition is also from on an economic recovery we could also take action to put things back together from the economic downfall. This petition could take time for success.
It's better to use initials or don't display name for safety when signing the petitions. You could share this with other people you know as long as they could go on this site.
Those are people with jobs related to this petition that shouldn't sign it and you people could share this petition with people who could sign it. The jobs where to not sign this petition if you don't have to stay off of petitions sites are gas stations, oil companies (they are targets of this petition), colleges or car insurance.
Signing this petition and even much signatures might as well be helping faster or as fast as we can in fixing things like reshaping the economy and putting things back together from the economic downfall.
It's happened before after the great depression so it should happen again and not come true as a prophecy of the 1987 movie the Running Man based on a book starring Arnold Schwarzenegger that Jesse "The Body" Ventura was also in as by 2017 in the story the world economy collapsed.
This petition is to go into any of who's in control of what around the world.
13. Form a Highway Patrol in the UK
As a driving instructor for many years, I see examples of bad driving, dangerous driving, bad obstructive parking, terrible pedestrian activity, lack of consideration, intolerance, impatience, aggressive driving, total ignorance and stupidity amongst some drivers, lack of knowledge of the Highway Code, lack of attention to safety, and downright nastiness towards ourselves (with learners at the wheel) and with others.
I teach people to drive by the rules, as do the driving instructor industry as a whole, and yet, all around us are idiots, criminals, and fools, and no one to bring them to book. There is an absence of police to enforce the rules and laws, already in existence, and all we have is a seemingly useless parking patrol service, which I have been seen to ignore bad parking.
We need to put the servicing of the highway laws back into the hands of the police. We need something with teeth to bring these people into line, for the general safety of others.
14. Ban Driving While Using Cell Phones
In 2008, 5,870 people in the U.S. were killed because of a person using a cell phone while they were driving. Over a million were injured because of the same reason.
People that talk on a cell phone causes nearly 25% of car accidents and people who text while driving are 23% more likely to be in a car accident.
15. Support Government Advertising that Promotes Safe Driving Around Tractor Trailers
Fatal accidents on our nation's highways are consistently between 30,000 and 40,000 deaths per year. Most accidents involve driver error, such as tailgating, speeding, "drafting" to save fuel, and generally unsafe driving around tractor trailers.
Driver education is identified by the Federal Highway Safety Administration as one of four key factors that can reduce fatalities. Mass media public service awareness advertising can effectively reach more drivers than any other communications medium.
Hence, the following petition urges Federal transportation and Federal Communication Commission authorities to coordinate to both set aside and to use 3 percent of all mass media communications airtime to educate drivers about the dangers of tailgating, speeding and unsafe driving around tractor trailers in an effort to reduce preventable highway deaths and economic losses.
16. Online game ''Roam Mania''
There should be a free online game where you can just explore a free open world.
17. Reduce the UK driving age to 16!
The driving age should be reduced to 16.
Too much time is wasted with buses! If the government reducde the driving age to 16, it would be extremely helpful to many 16 year olds in the country.
18. Revise The Provisional Driving Rules In SA
South Australia continue to introduce tough new draconian laws for provisional drivers, which are not in line with other states and other cities worldwide. The reason given for the introduction of these laws is to reduce the representation of young fatalities on our roads.
South Australia only allows 3 demerit points before disqualifying young provisional drivers which is not consistent with other states. Under the Rann government the representation of young fatalities on our roads has increased.
19. Driving Age in Ohio should remain at 16
The driving age should remain at 16 in Ohio because raising it would only make responsible and educated teens wait longer for the privilege and it is shown that inexperience, not age contributes for automobile accidents.
20. Equal Opportunities for Young People in State Care
From 1 July 2007 the Queensland Government introduced a new graduated licensing system to reduce fatalities on our roads, particularly among young motorists. Young drivers aged 17-24 are twice as likely to be involved in fatal crashes than drivers aged between 25-59. That is why the Queensland Government introduced new laws to change the licensing system for young drivers.
The new changes introduced by Queensland Transport included the introduction of a logbook system to ensure learners get a good balance of experience before they drive solo on the road. Learner drivers are required to complete 100 hours of supervised on-road driving experience.
The extension of the learner period to 12 months and the completion of 100 hours of driving experience will expose learners to driving in various road conditions. During this time, they gain valuable experience, including driving at night. The requirement to accumulate 100 hours of supervised on-road driving experience before undertaking a practical driving assessment highlights the importance of the learner licence stage and ensures the learner accumulates extensive driving experience under a range of driving conditions before applying for a provisional licence.
Since the changes in law, many young people in state care face many barriers when trying to obtain their driving licence, such as foster carers not having enough time, residentials not having insurance for young people to drive company or youth worker owned cars and the average driving lesson costing $47 an hour and the likelihood of the Department of Child Safety providing an average of $4700 for each young person wanting to access there licence isn't high either.
21. The Promise
By signing this petition, you are saying that you will never drive drunk, that you will call a taxi or hand over your keys to a designated driver.
Please help fight this battle of losing the people that we love to careless actions.
22. Kids over 13 Should Be Able to drive
Kids should be able to drive but they could make the tests stricter for younger drivers.
On January 17, 2008 my 10 year old nephew was killed by a drowsy driver. But because the law was only passed in New Jersy under 'MAGGIES LAW' and it has never been passed here in Maryland the driver may never be punished or may just get off with a fine.
We here in Maryland need to take a stand and have a law passed so people will take responiability for there actions. People also need to be educated about effects of drowsy driving. So this never happens to other children or family members.
24. Update The Drink Driving Laws Now!
I am sick and tired of constantly hearing about and seeing lives that have been wrecking, ruined shattered and lost due to the selfish and inconsiderate actions of the scum that still think that it’s fine to still drink alcohol and drive! So I propose and ask for your backing for 3 radical new changes to the UK Drink Driving Laws.
Number 1. Zero tolerance. Why should there be a limit? If one is all you can have then surely it isn’t needed. Then there can be no error in Judgement then. With a limit it entices people to think ‘Oh, One more won’t push me over the limit?’
Number 2. The punishments are not severe enough and do not seem to get the message across. With Zero tolerance, any alcohol detected that is relevant to that day should result in an instant six month ban and a large fine. Any alcohol over a certain limit should result in a lifetime ban and possible sentencing and an even larger fine. Refusal to give a roadside sample 6 month ban. Refusal to give a certified sample or Blood sample Life time ban.
Number 3. Finally, all passengers in cars of drink drivers should be given a fixed penalty of at least £80. I know some people will say thats not fair but knowingly getting in a car with a drink driver should be a crime. You wouldn’t drive a getaway car for a bank robber nor would you let a serial killer keep killing if you know him. People may also say ‘Well I didn’t know he/she had had a drink!’ How pissed off would your mates be with you if they got hit with a fine?
I believe if this was introduced it may cut down on drink driving as people will not want to travel with them making the decision not to drive an easier one.
A reward should maybe be given to people who report drink drivers that end up in a conviction. Also a list with pictures of convicted drivers should be made available to all alcohol serving establishments. This may help in prevent repeat offenders offending again.
Finally most of the revenue made from these fines and convictions should go towards helping the victims and their families get the lives back together.
I know a lot of people may think these are harsh but how would you feel if your life with shattered by the careless actions of a drink driver?
25. Public Transportation for the Future Starts Now
American families spend 18% of their household budgets on transportation, making it the second largest household expenditure after housing.
A study on U.S. government spending and its impact on worker productivity estimated that a 10-year $100 billion increase in public transport spending would boost worker output by $521 billion, compared with $237 billion for the same spending on highways.
AAA members who rely almost exclusively on automobiles for their daily transportation needs, would still opt to spend more money on public transit than on new roads, according to a recent survey.
Business output is positively affected by transit investment. A sustained program of transit capital investment will generate an increase of $2 million in business output. After 20 years, these benefits increase to $31 million.
Every dollar that U.S. taxpayers invest in public transportation generates $6 or more in economic returns.
In suburban Philadelphia, the total increase in residential real estate value in neighborhoods with train service is estimated to be over $1.45 billion.
In Los Angeles, .80 of every $1.00 spent on public transport gets recirculated in the region, translating into $3.80 in goods and services. Conversely, .85 of every $1.00 spent on gas leaves the region.
New Jersey now has 600,000 more registered vehicles than drivers.
The value per square foot of commercial space near Metrorail stations in Northern Virginia has jumped more than 600 percent since the first station opened in 1977.
In comparison with private vehicles, public transportation generates 95% less carbon monoxide, 92% less in volatile organic compounds, and about half as much carbon dioxide and nitrogen oxide per passenger mile.
A study conducted before, during and after the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta examined the effect of concerted efforts to improve traffic conditions to accommodate the wave of spectators and its effect on asthma attacks. The city made 24-hour transportation available, added buses, closed streets to cars and implemented flexible work schedules. The study showed the result of these efforts was a remarkable decline in ground-level ozone and other air pollutants, which reduced the number of emergency rooms visits for asthma during and shortly after the games.
26. Petition for exemption of workers to new road rules
Please sign if you believe that people in Ireland, defendant on driving unaccompanied for work/essential on a second provisional should be allowed their license to run to its finish date, therefore having a set amount of time to pass a full test without affecting their life.
I personally have a 2nd provisional and as of Tuesday am unable to be available for any work requiring travel. I have spoken to many people just today who can no longer legally keep to commitments/contracted work due to this change!
Is this helping people or will it make people lose jobs..... Garda could issue exemption forms to be carried at all times....
Period of 3 months....
27. Increase driving age to 20
A higher driving age is needed because only older more civilized people should drive so there are less accidents on the road.
28. Revisions to Teenage Driving Laws
Vechile accidents have long been to blame for the highest number of teenage deaths in the United States. Statistics show that teenage drivers, under laws now, are still at high risk of getting into accidents that could endanger not only their lives, but the lives of all those on the road.
With revisions to the currents laws teenage drivers would gain more experience, and become more intelligent, safer drivers and the bring the potential for the decreasement of their involvement in roadway accidents and deaths
29. Removal of Rossford Schools busdriver Dwayne Lau Jr.
While riding the rossford school bus in ohio, driven by Dwayne Lau Jr., students have been constantly treated unfairly by him.
He deals with trouble an incredibly wrong way, in doing such things like calling the students names, making fun of them, and even targeting specific students the whole ride, instead of all of his students.
Examples of his unethical behavior is agreeing with one student to kill himself, accusing another student of being gay (and tormenting him about that), calling another student vulgar names, for example "f****** retard".
Aside from being unfair, he also is a bad choice for a person in charge of driving many students, holding their lives in his hand. Everyday, he comes on, looking drunk, hung-over, high, and just completely out of it. His music taste has nothing to do with driving the bus, but its completely different if he makes the students on the bus listen to it to.
I bring this up, because on one occasion, he made the bus listen to a band called "Cannible Corpse", in which the lyrics were very vulgar. This band has a history of singing about rape, molestation, and violence, and should NOT be played to students this young.
In conclusion, Dwayne Lau Jr., is a unfair, unfit busdriver, and should be immediately fired.
30. Please Drive the School Buses Into the Circles
The most important concern of the people is the safety of our children once they leave the house every morning and when they get off the bus each evening.
During the fall semesters of school it is dark when the children congregate at the bus stop and there have been reports of registered sex offenders at the bus stop on countless occassions. There have also been reports of parents physically attacking other people's children. There are countless fights and numerous of other acts of malice and thereafter.
On day rainy days the children are soak and wet before they even get on the bus. The majority of the trouble the children get into begins at the overcrowded bus stop. There are three different schools of children at the bus stop at the same time. The police have been called several times for incidents that have taken place at the bus stop.
There is a high volume of traffic at the bus stop especially during drop off. There is no cross walk worker and the youngest child walking to and from the bus stop is five years of age.
We, the people, feel that a lot of these problems can be avoided by the bus simply driving into the circle instead of having the children walk out of the circle to go to school! Thank you very much!
