The Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 was introduced in response to various incidents involving particular breeds.
These incidents received huge tabloid attention and public concern over the keeping and breeding of all dogs which were classed as the same type.
The following breeds which are of pedigree or crossed with are now classed as Dangerous Dogs
Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasileiro.
3. Stop restarting nuclear power plants
Many people lost their lives after being exposed to massive radiation from the explosion of Fukushima nuclear power plant.
Many people took their own lives after losing hope of living on their land because it was too contaminated by radiation.
Many people are still suffering from deteriorating health caused by radiation still being dispersed from the plants.
Many people have great concerns about the future of their precious children.
But in front of the large number of protestant, the Japanese government hastily decided to restart the nuclear power plant despite failing to fix the broken nuclear safety system that led to the original meltdown.
The government hasn't explained about the cause of the disaster and hasn't made an apology to the public.
4. Red Light Camera Darebin St and Rosanna Rd
Every day cars and particularly trucks run the red light where Rosanna Rd crosses Darebin St. There needs to be some kind of deterrent for this reckless and dangerous behaviour.
This intersection is used constantly for pedestrians accessing the shops, the primary school and the childcare centre on the corner of the intersection.
Older children from the primary school also use the lights to walk home by themselves. Please support this petition to greatly reduce the risk of potential tragedy.
5. Traffic Light in Torbay intersection near schools
The town of Torbay is a beautiful place to live and raise a family. One major turn off from this town is the speed in which the traffic travels and there are congested intersections that are extremely difficult to get out of in a timely manner.
The intersection of Torbay Road, Marine Drive and Convent Lane being one of them. During times of high traffic it can be very hard to exit in either direction to make a left hand turn onto Torbay road from Marine Drive or Convent Lane due to the fact that you can not see very far in either direction. You have a blind hill on one side and a blind turn on the other side.
In my opinion this is quite hazardous. Not to mention that there is not one but two schools less than a half of a kilometre from this intersection and the school buses drivers use this to exit onto the main drag to return their precious passengers home at he end of the school day. The speed of the traffic and inability to see the vehicles coming is dangerous for those children who are walking home and need to cross Torbay Road. Although there is a flashing yellow light, it isn't enough.
So before something tragic happens, I am suggesting that a four-way traffic light be placed at the intersection of Torbay Road, Marine Drive and Convent Lane.
6. Fix Potholes on Gooburrum Road
Due to damage being done to a car on Friday night the 12th November 2010 by the large and deep potholes on Gooburrum Road we would like the Bundaberg City Council to assess the condition of the road.. These holes have been continuously getting worse over the past 12 months and the Council just continues to keep patching them up.
As described by someone from the council in the Bundaberg Newsmail dated the 17th November 2010 the pavement is very thin, the weather has contributed to the damage and so have the amount of large trucks and machinery driven on this road. There is one particular section were there are a group of potholes and there are power poles either side.
We fear that one day a serious accident may occur. Its it not only very bad for the locals but any visitors on the road would be unaware of the conditions due to no signage and the fact that the road goes from two lanes to one and then further down the road goes back into two lanes again. There are no street lights to help with seeing any of the potholes and the speed limit is 80 ks.
If you didn't know the road then there is a big chance you just might receive damage to your car or maybe even yourself.. There are many deep potholes along all of Gooburrum Road.We have taken over 30 photos
7. Vanquish Gaia Online {Dangerous Site}
I am a fellow Gaian and have been since 03. I have noticed that as years go by Gaia has been getting more avaricious and unreasonable, since 05 when I was hacked (5) times in a week and made so many reports I could write a book my friends and I decided to put our foot down.
Gaia says they are safe, fun, and will get back to you within 7 days after reporting well folks it’s a bunch of crap reason being:
1) In the past year I've seen more sexual predators on Gaia Online than any other anime/ child site in ever, my friend was talking to a girl for a few weeks and found out she wasn't 15 she was a 47 year old man with a bad record (Wow my kind of friend NOT). 15% of Gaians that claim they are teens are actually adults who are looking for kids for god sakes people Gaia online is turning into a Se/x candy land for grown men.
2) I have been hacked so much on Gaia and they never did anything or replied to me for that matter, my friends have been hacked and banned for no reason sometimes fake reasons. Gaia says they are fair but they are not even close...if they want our money so badly why do they ban citizens who pay 100's of dollars on cards every month? There is no reason that's why let me say something that will put you into shock.
I called Gaia to talk to Craig the owner of Gaia Online because I was banned for scamming (which is false) AFTER I put 150$ worth of cash cards onto my account the night before and I was worth over 7mil and now I'm worth 600k go figure right well I called and called and every single time I got some low life volenteer from god knows where " wtf you say" yes that's right since 05 I've spent over 1,210$ on cash cards I have in a box in that box is 100$ worth of cards that I will never get back.
Gaia says you can use credit cards, take surveys, money orders in the mail WTF that’s not kid friendly at all parents your nuts if you didn't read that part.

3) Kids are weak and when they see the words "Credit card" "Money by mail" "Buy cash cards on your cell phone" KIDS WILL EAT IT UP parents aren't reading this the fact that Gaia asks for your credit card number and leave that in the open for kids is irresponsible "PARENTS please read everything on the bottom on the site where the contact us and the rules and guidelines is before letting your little girl or boy sign up" this is very important and Gaia just doesn’t care about US just OUR MONEY their greedy.
4) Gaia is Boooooooriiiiiing the games are the same as always, the items cost more than my playstation 3 I mean come are 5mil for an item that has 3 things in it that’s lame and no one will buy it and those 40mil items HOW IN THE FUDGE IS ANYONE SUPPOSE TO REACH THAT NUMBER?! You would need 47 accounts. Their events are dumb as well and I bet that money for Katrina, and the oil spill is going to new computers for them or a car their a scam open your eyes kids, the towns are boring as well they need to add new places.
5) OH did you ever notice this "Gambino casino" that’s gambling no matter what way you spin the wheel which is illegal we are using fake money but it's still money 40% of that money comes from our cash cards which we pay with REAL money.
6) I've noticed some parents join Gaia to watch over their kids and stuff (Cootos parents cootos) even at that parents are blind to see the secrets Gaia has they scam, they hack gaians and THEN ban them, the people who work with Gaia don't even get paid they get paid with fake gold "Yep this will pay my bills I'll send a money order by buying gold chocolate coins and sending them to my landlord Give me a BREAK"
Yes I am angry but not as a Gaian but as a person I've seen too many people being Fugged over and Gaia says yes we will get to it well after 3 weeks wouldn't you get the point that they don't care. In the last 3 years over (NOT KIDDING) 23,847 People have left Gaia because of the above reasons that’s the size of my city that’s just pathetic.
Gaia needs to listen to the Gaian community EVEN though it's fake we are not fake we are people with opinions, intelligent minds and great ideas that would make people come back to Gaia but until Gaia gets their act together in the next 2-5 years they will lose people then be closed down.
7) You can make as many accounts as you want but Hackers only target the one with Gold, and Luxury items “Dear Craig the big head if Gaia is safe why do more than 500 kids get their accounts hacked in less than 5 months multiple times?" "Well Gaia user because WE DON'T CARE HAHAHA we just want you to buy our cards so I can trade my trash compactor for a SUV" -_- Yeah can you imagine if he was president I'd move to Japan immediately.
Hackers are huge on Gaia it's like a island filled with sexy women, sadly and disturbingly we are the sexy women and they are the island pirates basically we are screwed don't dress like a noob it's meaningless they will just find you by looking at your store if you have items they will take them.
8) I know 37% of you are in disagreement with me and that's fine but there are more Gaia haters than Gaia lovers 12% are afraid to get banned for speaking their minds and 5% have said something and no one cared or told them to shut up or got their post spammed to hell, it's sad how Gaia has turned great kids into greedy little hellions and most of them don't even notice they are acting that way.
PARENTS please help save our children and your siblings children from being pulled into a web of lies, bowl of crap, se/x hungry predators and credit card scandals you all work hard to make your kid happy and safe but I don't think you wanna wake up one morning go to Wal-Mart scan your card and the cashier says "I'm sorry Ma'am/Sir but your credit card has bounced and cannot be used" OH OUCH!!! That’s a stinger we aren't Paris Hilton and we can't just ask daddy for more money to buy Chihuahuas.
Those of you who agree thank you so much I'm so glad I'm not alone this WILL be a new REVOLUTION FOR KIDS. I know parents would be devastated to see their child meet up with one of these predators or have one outside your house and your girl or boy goes missing and never seen again.

8. Improve the Safety of Canberra Avenue
The intersection located in Fyshwick between Geelong Street and Canberra Avenue has low visibility, traffic driving at high speeds and a complicated lay out. These factors greatly increase the danger when trying to cross the intersection.
In the past few months, several people have been killed in traffic accidents within the vicinity of Canberra Avenue. This intersection needs improvement to ensure the safety of all drivers using the area.
9. HGVs using a dangerous bend New Road/Kiln Barn Road
Dangerous bend in New Road/Kiln Barn Road, Ditton. This is a narrow bend with HGVs crossing onto the other side of the road to use this bend. This bend is not wide enough to cater for the size of the HGVs using this bend. It is in close proximity of Ditton Junior School where parents and guardians walk their children to school on the pavement around this bend.
These vehicles use 24 hours - 7 days a week. We suffer noise from these HGVs night and day. The summer is worse as certain residents have to leave their garden and go inside.
10. Traffic Calming (Speed bumps) for Henry Street Spring Hill
After witnessing a pedestrian/car accident on the 3rd of February I have decided to organise this petition to introduce traffic calming devices on Henry Street in Spring Hill.
There are numerous short and long term apartment patrons, pub patrons, and 2 child care centres within 100 metres of the street. Combine that with literally hundreds of cars per day using it as a shortcut, this sort of accident was bound to happen, and will continue to happen unless something is done.
Henry Street is currently 2 way and only barely wide enough for that, let alone the speeds and blind spots accessing Astor Terrace, John Street and Leichhardt Streets.
We call on Brisbane City Council, Queensland Transport and Brisbane City Police to work together to discourage streets like this to slip under the radar when it comes to traffic management.
11. Grit the streets of Coventry
The ice on Stoney Stanton road is very dangerous for pedestrians trying to use the footpaths. People are slipping over and hurting themselves. My mum got seriously injured. Fractured cheek bone and fractured eye socket, she can't see well out her left eye. Just after she slipped a family behind us, with children, slipped over too.
This is a serious issue and some thing needs to be done!
12. Celtic fans Petition to the SFA
Last season a new initative was started by the SFA in relation to introducing video evidence. If Gordon Smith and the SFA are serious in wanting to clean up the game in relation to simulation or career threatening challenges, as they have indeed indicated. 14. Ban aggressive dog breeds in the UK
The government has taken several steps to try to crack down on those who breed and trade dangerous dogs, as well as those who own them.
The Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 is the most prominent of the various laws that cover dog ownership in the UK.
The act bans the breeding and sale or exchange of four kinds of dog - pit bull terriers, Japanese Tosas, the Dogo Argentinos, and the Fila Brasileiros. Cross-breeds of those dogs are covered by the law.
The dangerous dogs Act 1991 states 'to enable restrictions to be imposed in relation to other types of dog which present a serious danger to the public;'

Rottweilers were the number two breed of dog named in fatal human attacks from 1979 to 1998 in a report by the CDC. Dangerous behavior in Rottweilers results from their original breeding for aggressive guard dog traits. This tendency may extend towards other animals as well. Often injuries and maulings occur when an owner or passerby tries to separate fighting dogs, or unintentionally triggers a guarding behavior in a dog. In most cases, the type of behavior a Rottweiler exhibits is the result of past training (or lack thereof).
Rottweilers may either be dangerous or benign, depending on the action taken by the owner in socializing the dog. The portrayal of Rottweilers as evil dogs in several fictional films and TV series, most notably in The Omen, has added to their negative publicity. Rottweilers are banned in many municipalities, some scattered countries, and are sometimes targeted as dangerous dogs by legislation. The victim died at the local hospital a short time later. The family owning the dog, reportedly told police she had not previously shown any signs of aggression.

Pit bulls are one of the greatest dogs you could ever want! They are sweet, smart, loving, gentle, and most of all, NOT human aggressive!
Don't punish the breed, punish the deed!
According to studies, you are more likely to get attacked by a Collie (Lassie dog) then by a pit bull.
Don't judge a dog by it's looks! After all, how would you like it if the government decided to ban YOUR dog? Wouldn't you do anything to fight a law like that? Please help me rid Addison of the Pit Bull ban.

16. Destruction orders for vicious dogs
My son who is 7yrs old was attacked by his uncle's American bulldog over at his uncle's house - at the time the owners partner was there thankfully to help my son and remove the dog outside, however she's adament the dog was totally unprovoked and attacked him for no reason.
As a result of this my son had to go down to theatre to be stitched up as the wounds we're so deep, he had 20 nylon stitches in the back of his head.
Because the attack took place where the dog resides the officer dealing with it wasn't sure anything could be done to the dog.
The owner still has the dog, which we feel is absolutely disgusting - where are his morals!
It should of been destroyed in an instant, we are lucky my son is here today as had it been his throat he may not of been.
We feel the dog should be destroyed before its given the chance to attack someone else please help us to hopefully have a new law brought forward so if a dog attacks a child regardless of where it happens its a dangerous dog and it should be destroyed.
17. A Bridge for Elijah Circle

Everytime time we have a major rain storm the residents of Eljah Circle are washed away.
We are in great need of a small bridge over our creek. We are not able to enter to lower part of our road due to a dangerous wash-out. The only thing that is done about the issue is a patch up of the road and that always sinks down and will eventually cave in. This is a very dangerous situation.
If anyone comes around the curve on our road not knowing that the creek is over flowing they could easly be taken away. Not only this, but, there are openings on each side of the road that exposes the creek and if two vehicles come on the road and the same time they can easily wreck and go off the road.
A bride on Elijah Circle would make this road safer for us.

My three year old daughter was attacked while being looked after at a neighbour's house. Their border collie tore my daughters face, she needed 60 stitches and three operations, that is to date, she will need more in the future.
The dog is still allowed to live in there family home and it is to her discretion whether or not to have the dog destroyed as the dangerous dogs act only applies to dogs who bite in public.
This woman lives two roads down and still allows her dog to roam the street and walk freely around her home where her twin girls (also 3) live.
This dangerous dog should not be allowed to walk freely among her own children who are not old enough to understand the danger or to roam the street in front of her house.

I have seen so many rivers/lakes in the past full of rubbish and dangerous objects such as beer bottles, cans, plastic bags and plastic. But you can help!

Or just simply helping the environment by easily picking up rubbish you see and putting it securely into the rubbish bin! It's not hard at all.

Have you ever noticed the scummy dirty look on rivers? Many causes of pollution including sewage and fertilizers containing nutrients such as nitrates and phosphates.In excess levels, nutrients over stimulate the growth of aquatic plants and algae.
Excessive growth of these types of organisms consequently clogs our waterways, use up dissolved oxygen as they decompose, and block light to deeper waters.
The pollution of rivers and streams with chemical contaminants has become one of the most crutial environmental problems within the 20th century. Waterborne chemical pollution entering rivers and streams cause tramendous amounts of destruction.
Pathogens are another type of pollution that prove very harmful. They can cause many illnesses that range from typhoid and dysentery to minor respiratory and skin diseases
Three last forms of water pollution exist in the forms of petroleum, radioactive substances, and heat. Petroleum often pollutes waterbodies in the form of oil, resulting from oil spills.

20. Fix Dangerous Streets Gertrude and Adams

There is a very dangerous S road in Clark. It is on Gertrude St and Adams St.
As you approach Adams St there is a blind spot and you can not see the cars coming from the other way. There are several incidents a day people driving speed through this S turn which the speed limit is 10 MPH and almost causing an accident due to this.
These cars coming down Adams St to go to Gertrude have to go in both lanes due to cars parking on that side and on the bend.
There were also incidents that cars hit fences from going to fast and garbage cans also there are many of times there are head on collisions due to there speeds.
We would like to see this problem resolved before one of us loses a child or someone getting severally hurt. This is a problem that has gone unchecked for long enough.

24. Stop discrimination against Pit Bulls in Ohio!
I believe in Ohio we should be able to save our pit bulls. Recently one got stolen from me but I went to the pound to check the lost dogs which they only hold for 3 days anyways.
I found out that all dogs lost after those 3 days get put up for adoption except pit bulls who end up being killed!!!
I understand they don't want to be liable if something happens after the dog gets adopted. We can create an "As is" clause in adopting animals so people can not come back and sue the pound or kennels. And also it is prejudice that they discriminate against such dogs they consider dangerous when the fact of the matter is any dog can bite, become aggresive, or be dangerous, its all on how they are raised.
I am currently reasearching my options on who to forward this information to in order to get this changed so if anyone has any suggestion let me know please.
A 291-Unit Trailer Park is being imposed on the Huntington Township community of Adams County, Pennsylvania. The developer (Robert Mumma/Caco Three)has a very negative business track -- bankruptcy, neglecting properties, and frivolous lawsuits -- but has made large political contributions and has ample financial resources.
A grassroots effort by concerned citizens is working to stop this development from harming this community, and setting a dangerous precedent for other such areas. This scenic, rural area is known for it's historical significance (Gettysburg Battle), safe and peaceful communities, and farmland.
The negative effects of the development include higher taxes, environmental harm, overcrowded schools, safety and security problems, dangerous traffic congestion, and destruction of the natural beauty of this area.
This petition is for the upkeep & or blacktop application of Jemison Rd. This 1 1/3 mile stretch of road is heavily travelled on a daily basis. Travel on this road in the spring & winter months is dangerous due to the lack of maintenance.

27. Straighten Lucasville Road
This petition is for the purpose of establishing the straightening of the dangerous "S curve" on Lucasville Road and constructing a proper left turn lane into Allegro Drive when travelling Northbound on Lucasville Road, as a priority transportation project in Prince William County, Virginia, and providing for its immediate funding.

After the Tiananmen Square Massacre in 1989 the European Union Parliament adopted a resolution banning weapons sales to China. Now France and Germany suggest lifting the ban.
We strongly oppose this as human rights in China continue to deteriorate and China already has over 500 ballistic missiles aimed at Taiwan. Furthermore, lifting the ban would directly endanger Taiwan, lead to a regional arms race and destabilize global peace and stability.
29. Food Choking Prevention Act of 2003 - Bill #HR 2773
To whom it may concern:
Please join in my efforts to warn parents of the Hot Dog Choking Danger and help prevent the death of a small child.
CHOKING is the 4th leading cause of accidental DEATH in children under the age of five. Studies indicate that HOT DOGS are the #1 food KILLER. At least one child dies from choking on food every 5 days in the USA and more than 10,000 children are taken to hospital emergency rooms each year for food-choking injuries.
A choking warning label must be placed on hot dog packages to alert parents of this danger. A small child has baby teeth and an ill-equipped esophagus which can not adequately chew and swallow this meat as normally served to them - - in a bun. Also, parents tend to slice the hot dogs in quarters which is also deadly. A hot dog when served to a young child must: have the skin removed, cut lengthwise into quarters (4 long strips) and then again cut into small pieces.
A minority of the hot dog industry has elected to voluntarily disclose this choking danger and place warning labels on their hot dog product - - Louis Rich Franks, Oscar Mayer Franks, Ballpark Singles, Lunchables All Star Hot Dogs. However, the majority has elected to remain silent - - Applegate Farms; Armour Stars, Coleman, Dietz and Watson, Esskay, Giant Brand, Gwaltney, Han's All Natural, Healthy Choice, Hebrew National, Hillshire Farm, Lightlife Smart Dogs, Nathan's, Redskins, Safeway Select, Soyboy, Yorkshire Kids and Yves Veggie Dogs.
The Bill #HR 2773 - Food Choking Prevention Act of 2003 has been introduced to Congress by House Representatives Michael Honda (D-CA) and Michael Ferguson (R-NJ). It is currently in purgatory and has been referred to a subcommittee. The chairman of that committee is Congressman Michael Bilirakis (R-FL). One of the benefits of Bill #HR 2773 will be the reflection of warning labels on statistically dangerous foods to our children such as hot dogs. Parents need to be made aware of this hot dog choking danger and the manufacturers should take the first step and place warning labels on their food. Another step would be to get this message out to as many parents as possible. No one should have to endure the pain and suffering of losing a young child to such a senseless preventable event.

dangerous." Gifford, director of the Parliamentary Advisory Council for Transport Safety said he could prove
that improving skills makes people more
