91. A Call to Action: HALT CPF Use by the Tobacco Industry, it kills 150,000 Americans each year! 
The American Computer Scientists Association has discovered that ALL Tobacco grown in cheap "Calcium Phosphate Based Fertilizers" (CPFs), which were adopted for Tobacco fertilization in use since the late-1940's, contain sufficient radioactive Polonium 210 isotope in them to be the agent responsible for the nearly 100% tumor (benign and malignant) rate found among almost all smokers, leading to the vast majority of Smoking-related Lung Cancer that occurs in later life. The rise of Smoker's Lung Cancer in the 50's, 60's and after mirrors the usage of CPFs by the Tobacco Farmers.
A glitch in the human bio-physiology allows Nicotine in Cigarettes to promote these cancers by blocking "apoptosis" and "apopto-genesis": that normally removes damaged tissue, replacing it, but in the Lungs of Cigarette Smokers and Passive Smoke victims it is inhibited by Nicotine. Over 1.5 million people die every year of cigarette smoking related Lung Cancer globally, 150,000 IN AMERICA ALONE. Lung Cancer is a slow, painfully traumatic disease that results in death.
To HALT the progression of Lung Cancer from smoking, the Tobacco Farmers and Tobacco Industry must REPLACE CPFs and use only Safe Fertilizers in growing Tobacco, and CLEAN up the polluted lands of the Growers...

93. Alex's Wish -To All Cancer Kids -
This petition was created so all people would know about Alex. Alex is a six-year-old child with cancer. She asked Make a Wish Foundation for her wish to come true. Her wish is that when you see anybody with cancer, don't stare, smile! Treat us like normal people. (Sorry if this isn't correct, I am japanese, and trying hard to write!)
94. Stop Pro Anorexia Web Sites
These Web sites promote self harming and deadly behaviour and make it seem as if having anorexia is a gift. You don't see any one creating web sites like " Yay , Let's get cancer!". These Websites have pictures of anorexic girls with huge writing saying discusting things like " Anorexic Queen" and "Never too thin". These Websites basically promote people killing themselves. Not only to these sites have gross pictures they have dieting tips and ways to hide food from your parents. We say, STOP THIS !!!
95. Agree to Act to Save this Planet
$1,000,000 A BOMB - the US can bomb Afghanstan for a week solid but it can't feed its homless or prevent rape from happening several thousands of times a day.
SPACE STATION - meanwhile people are overworked, underpaid and stressed all adding to a pool of negitivity.
STREET VIOLENCE - is at an all time high, and the suicide rate has sky rocketed.
CURE FOR CANCER - My city has built a new cancer research center employing over 1000 people. Cancer creates jobs, crime creates jobs, drugs create jobs - the government wants jobs, not a cure.
SEASONS COLLIDING - It's called THE GREENHOUSE EFFECT caused by mankind. If the angels were here they would be disgusted. (They are, and they are).
TECHNOLOGY HALTED - A teleporter would render millions jobless in the transport industry. Cloned food could help billions but it would also render millions jobless in the food industry. We invoked light, lets at least use it right - but the government wants money, not progress.
96. Make This Ball Available For Sale
Sears, the WNBA, and NABCO are raising money for breast cancer research, which is highly commendable. But, they have this pink-and-white ball in their commercials and online ads for the cause. I, personally, would love to buy one, in support of breast cancer research. I think it would be a great thing for them to do to raise money.
97. Legalization of Melatonin to be Sold as a Vitamin in Canada
Recent studies suggest that supplementing melatonin may bolster our immune systems, keep our cells from disintegrating, slow the growth of tumors and cataracts, and ward off heart disease, all the while helping us sleep better. (Newsweek, August 1995)
"Studies suggest that low-dose supplements of melatonin can hasten sleep and ease jet lag, without the hazards or side effects of prescription sleeping pills." Melatonin may have many other uses and has been reported to make people feel better, strengthen the immune system, and reduce free radicals in the body. Current research is underway to determine melatonin's effect as an anti-oxidant, immno-modulator in cancer, delayed sleep-phase disorders, and jet lag. Tests are still under way so there is much to still be learned about melatonin and its effects on the human body." (Newsweek, November 6, 1995, p. 60-63).
Melatonin secretion is involved in physiologic sleep onset, and melatonin may be useful in treating insomnia. (Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics, May 1995, Harvard, Cambridge, & MIT) Low melatonin levels correlate with low sleep quality. Seven days treatment with melatonin at a level of 2 mg. daily can improve sleep patterns in elderly patients with insomnia. (Dr. Haimov, British Medical Journal, 1994) Young adult subjects assess their sleep as "deeper" after melatonin treatment. (Dr. Nave, European Journal of Pharmacology, 1995)
We produce melatonin abundantly until puberty, and then it declines steadily into old age. (Dr. Russell Reiter, University of Texas) Melatonin is produced in the pineal gland, which is a small gland in the center of the brain. As darkness fall, the pineal gland produces a surge of melatonin that goes to all parts of the body. When light hits the retina of the eye, neural impulses signal the pineal gland to slow melatonin production.

According to many, one of the more effective means of taking a supplement such as melatonin is the sublingual (under the tongue) method.
