Tanzanian people: killing is a bigger crime than stealing!
As a result of the poverty in Tanzania some people have to steal to eat. Stealing is probably not a choice but a survival issue. The problem becomes bigger when a thief gets caught. He gets stoned to death, burned or any other unthinkable torture death!
This absurd outcome happens often in Tanzania. The Tanzanian citizens do this themselves. Tanzanians must stop killing by stoning/burning or any other horrible torture death. Occasionally innocent people have been taken for a thief and also killed the same way.
For anyone, including a tourist, who sees such a horrifying practice this is a traumatizing experience. Many Tanzanian children watch this regularly. How do these children feel in their surroundings after seeing one of these executions?
The laws do not allow people to kill and police always investigate and search for the people who committed the killing but they usually don't find the killers.
Please tell the Tanzanian government to punish the killers and to make sure this never happen again. The police surveillance and investigations must be taken more seriously than has been the case. Nobody should be allowed to kill another by stoning or any other means!
Dear Elected Officials and Government Institutions and Agencies,
We have the right to breathe clean air in our homes and properties without the stench and toxic emissions from any wood burning appliance. This hazard to our health must be dealt with.
It is the purpose of this petition to collect signatures to support a nuisance bylaw to cover wood smoke in residential areas.
Dear Elected Officials and Government Institutions and Agencies:
We have the right to enjoy our homes and properties without the toxic emissions from wood burning fireplaces and wood stoves invading our lives and those of our children.
It is the purpose of this petition to collect signatures to support a nuisance smoke bylaw in residential areas.
So the Jonas Brothers are on there burning up tour and they are not coming down here to San Diego. Usually groupps come down here on there tours but not this time.
We really want to brothes to come down here again cause san diego really does love them.
The Jonas Brothers haven't been to Nashville,Tennessee since 2006 except when they were with Miley Cyrus. But no one could really get into that concert. And now their not coming here for the burning up tour. Which I don't really find fair....
I decided to make this petition because I am tired of not having REAL celebs in Iceland.
I am a HUGE Jonas Brothers fan and I know A LOT of people who would love to see them here.

The proposed “German Ridge Restoration Project” would clearcut 355 acres, shelterwood cut 120 acres, and thin 215 acres for a total of 685 acres of logging. The proposed timber sale also authorizes the building of two miles of new roads, the building of two miles of temporary roads, and the reconstruction of nine miles of existing roads. The project further authorizes prescribed burning of 2,170 acres, in one of the most popular recreation areas in the forest, an area known to be used by Indiana bats, and would likely add even more pollution to an area of Indiana that is already a nonattainment area for particulate matter. This is the first project the Forest Service is attempting to implement under the new Hoosier Forest Plan, which is still pending appeal from several environmental groups and individuals.
The German Ridge project has been stopped two times in the past ten years; the first time in the late 1990’s due to the discovery of Indiana bats in the project area, and the second time, this past summer, due to the Forest Service’s appealing officer’s decision that the environmental impact statement did not include an adequate “cumulative impact analysis,” and that the costs of the road building were not included in the economic analysis.
This is the third time, then, that the Forest Service is attempting to recycle this same, environmentally and economically destructive project. A few weeks ago, the Forest Service issued a “Supplemental Draft Environmental Impact Statement” (SDEIS) to “correct the deficiencies in the last Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS).” In other words, the Forest Service is refusing to throw this project out, but instead, has merely changed its paperwork. The public needs to comment on this new SDEIS.
There is a 45-day comment period on this new Supplemental Draft Environmental Impact Statement (SDEIS) that will end Monday, Dec 4. The document can be viewed by going to http://www.fs.fed.us/r9/hoosier/project_docs/dn_dm/g_ridge_draft_sup_eis.pdf. You can also request a copy by writing the Forest Service at Hoosier National Forest Supervisors Office, 811 Constitution Avenue, Bedford, IN 47421 or by calling (812) 275-5987. You can send your comments to the Forest Service at the address above, or by Fax (812) 279-3423, or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Please send your comments into the Forest Service by December 4th!
This is a petition to stop open leaf burning in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
Our husband/dad was convicted of arson and was sent to prison two years ago. During the trial there was no concrete evidence shown and there was no motive shown. My husband was contracted to tear an old barn down in lieu of six months rent to a property he rented. Two weeks into the contract the barn burnt to the ground. My husband stood to gain nothing from the barn burning, in fact, he lost the contract and was forced to vacate the property. There was no insurance on the barn so that was not even a motive.
Family history: I was attending school and our dream has always been to open a respite care facility for special needs children. We were both working toward that goal. The burning of the barn literally caused our dreams to go up in smoke. My husband had no reason to burn down the barn and he would NEVER do such a horrible thing. We also both have strong convictions of right and wrong and doing such a deed is just wrong. We both love children and with this conviction we have no hope of ever achieving our dream. We were forced to have a public defender who did nothing but sit back and watch my husband and my children's dad get railroaded.
Please, help us get my husband back into court. We have since found a good Christian lawyer who would defend my husband like he deserved to be defended. We just want our husband/dad home. Thank You and God bless you.
