1. Tell Marco Rubio To Stop Supporting Amnesty
Whereas, Marco Rubio has disappointed his entire conservative voter base with his troubling push of amnesty for illegal aliens in recent immigration reform legislation.
Whereas, Rubio has misled the public about the bill's costly and explosive contents, as he has not even read the bill and won't agree to share it with the public.
Whereas, Rubio has lost my support by endorsing a "free pass" for illegal immigrants -- a policy that is fiscally, culturally, and lawfully irresponsible. Senator, your encouragement of illegal amnesty is against our values, and is evidence that you mislead constituents to believe you'd vote against the very legislation you're selling today if you were to be elected.
2. Stop Amnesty to Illegal Aliens Now
We, the American People, strongly oppose amnesty or any kind of legalization for illegal aliens. We are extremely concerned of the future of this United States of America for various reasons.
The security of this nation is in grave danger by the millions of illegal aliens coming in from other countries. Many are coming from the Middle east by entering Venezuela first, learning Spanish and then crossing the Mexican border to the USA. The great majority coming in from Central, So. America and our neighbors the Mexicans. These people pay thousands of dollars to smugglers just to bring them across the US border. It wouldn't cost much to pay the Immigration fees to the proper authorities -if- they entered according to our laws.
Americans are concerned that our country's economy is being devastated by giving amnesty to millions of illegal aliens who broke our laws entering our country illegally or, overstayed their temporary Visas.
Our welfare rolls are exploding while Americans are losing their jobs. The Food stamps (cards) are being abused by the criminal element.
People living in Mexico are taking advantage of the Spanish language advertizing the US Government has put on T.V. And many non-eligible obtain the food cards.
Children cross the US border to use our educational system and return to Mexico after classes are over! Mexico is taking full advantage of American resources!
Those are some of the reasons Americans are concerned with the direction this Administration is taking our beloved USA.
3. First Close the Southern Border with Mexico
Our Congress people constantly promise to close the borders after amnesty is granted but then they don't follow through. We have had enough lies.
Now we want the borders closed BEFORE any LIMITED discussion of amnesty for illegal aliens is discussed.
4. Free 5 Ahwazi Political Prisoners
the Islamic Republic Supreme Court confirmed the death sentences of five Arab Ahwazi activists who were co-founders or active members of scientific – cultural institute of Al-Hiwar, who are allegedly accused of combating against God (Muharebeh).
Muhammadali Omouri (Fisheries engineer and school teacher), Hadi Rashedi (holds a MS degree in applied chemistry and chemistry high-school teacher), Hashem Shabani (Arab literature teacher and MA degree student in Political Sciences at Ahwaz University), Seyyed Jaber Alboshoka (holds an associate degree in computer sciences and is a private in the military), Seyyed Mokhtar Alboshoka (works at a stone mining company), from among the founders and active members of Al-Hiwar, are accused of combatting against God, proceeding with armed activities and threatening national security. They are sentenced to death by hanging, while they explicitly announced, in several hearings, that they remained under months of severe torture, were obliged to falsely confess to armed activities and attempting to overthrow the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Al-Hiwar means dialogue. The institute was inspired by the policies of President Khatami’s government to promote a “Dialogue among Civilizations” and was registered by the National Youth Organization. The institute organizes events for the Arab youth of Ramshir (Khalafabad), including a number of conferences, poetry recital gatherings, and educational and art classes, all in the Arabic language. The activities of this institute were pronounced as illegal after an upsurge in the presence of security forces in the Khuzestan province following the widespread demonstrations in April 2005 in protest against discriminations imposed on Arab ethnic groups. In addition, the founders, members and others involved with the institute were also threatened. Around twenty active members of the institute were arrested in February 2011 and kept in secret detention centre of the Ministry of Intelligence in Ahwaz. For a number of months, the authorities applied severe mental and physical tortures on the detainees with the sole purpose of forcing them to falsely confess to armed activities.
A member of Al-Hiwar institue, who was among those arrested, told Justice for Iran, “I was beaten with a cable; I think it was a cable, because my eyes were blindfolded. I would hear screams of others while passing through the hallway to go to the bathroom. The sound of the voices was familiar to me. I heard, for instance, Hade Rashedi. Just imagine! Hadi Rashedi, with his fragile and weak body, suffering from heart rheumatism, how long could he possibly endure such torture? The prison authorities mistreated prisoners in such a manner that one would not do to wild animals. The mental torture started as soon as we were detained. I was asked to confess that Al-Hiwar, had some connection with the political groups abroad, received foreign aid, whether monetary or weaponry, intended to overthrow the regime, and spied for foreign countries. But we maintain no relationship with any party or organization, not even those within Iran!”
Prior to the hearings and their sentences, Press TV, the English-speaking network of the Islamic Republic of Iran, broadcast the forced confessions of Hadi Rashedi and Hashem Shabani, two members of the Al-Hiwar Institute in a program entitled “Al-Ahwazi terrorist group in Iran”. Despite the fact that Iranian laws prohibit the display of images and names of defendants in the media prior to confirmation of sentence, as well as accusation against those charged, while in custody and without access to the media, which violates their right to respond to accusations, in this program, Hadi Rashedi was identified as the person in charge of the military branch of Al-Muqavamat ash-Sha’bieh (Popular Resistance).
It should be noted Mr. Ezzatullah Zarghami, the head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), which Press TV is a branch of, has been subjected to human rights sanctions by the EU, due to producing and later broadcasting forced confessions and hearings of political prisoners.
Finally, in June 2012, Seyed Mohammad Bagher Mousavi, the judge at branch two of Ahwaz revolutionary court issued a bill of indictment for 13 detainees of Al-Hiwar, five of whom were sentenced to death. He failed to carry out an investigation around the claims of the defendants that the agents of the Ministry of Intelligence in secret detention centres had tortured them. The verdict was issued in spite of the fact that the defendants had no access to their counsel before the hearing. As a matter of fact, not only the defendants of this file were deprived of a fair trial and the right to appeal, but also the security agents in charge of torturing them to extract forced confessions enjoyed absolute impunity.
One of the relatives of the defendants of this file, whom due to security reasons does not wish to be identified, told Justice for Iran ‘we went to see the judge in charge of this file; but he said he had no choice; if he could he would have instantly acquit them; but it is the Ministry of Intelligence that determines the verdicts.’
While the process involving the review of files through branches of the Supreme Court is lengthy and can take up to a number of years, in this case, the verdict of the lower court referred on 7 November 2012 was urgently reviewed by the Supreme Court’s branch 32, and verified in less than two months.
Judge Farajullahi, head of branch 32, and his two consultants, Judge Qaemmaqami and Judge Lutfi, also confirmed sentences for other members of the Al-Hiwar Institute. For instance, defendant, Rahman Asakereh, a graduate in chemistry and a principal at a high school in Ramshir (Khalafabad), was sentenced to 20 years imprisonment in exiled to Khurasan Province.
Judge Farajullahi, head of branch 32 of Supreme Court, holds a doctorate degree in criminal law and criminology but has a notorious reputation for confirming death sentences of political prisoners. He has confirmed the death sentences of several Iranians including Saeed Malekpour and Vahid Asghari, the Internet activists who are currently detained at Evin.
Justice for Iran re-emphasizes the demands set forth in its previous statements, that all authorities responsible for violation of the basic rights of Arabs active in achieving their ethnic identity, specially:
- Judge Seyed Mohammad Bagher Mousavi: head of branch 2 of the Islamic revolutionary court of Ahwaz, should be held accountable for the crimes of torturing political prisoners, failing to observe the standards set for fair trials and issuing the recent death sentences for five members of scientific – cultural institute of Al-Hiwar as well as heavy sentences for seven more members,
- Muhammad Sarafraz: head of Press TV network, responsible for broadcasting forced confessions of political prisoners, including the Arab activists who are members of Al-Hiwar Institute;
Moreover, Justice for Iran requests that the European Union include the name of Judge Reza Farajullahi, the head of Supreme Court’s branch 32, in the list of human rights sanctions, for confirming the death sentences of five members of Al-Hiwar.
Finally, Justice for Iran requests from a number of UN Special Rapporteurs, particularly the special rapporteur for torture, Special Rapporteur on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions, Special Rapporteur on the independence of the judges and lawyers, and also the special rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Islamic Republic of Iran, to take every step necessary to facilitate the commute of the death sentences issued for the members of Al-Hiwar and to ensure of the judicial verification of allegations of torture and holding accountable the authorities in charge of torture with intent to extract forced confessions from the imprisoned members of Al-Hiwar.

5. RESPECT GAY RIGHTS - SCRAP THE ANTI-GAY BILL
Addressing an audience of diplomats in Geneva, US Secretary of State Hilary Clinton called for the rights of gay people to be respected.
"Gay people are born into and belong to every society in the world," Mrs Clinton said.
"Being gay is not a Western invention. It is a human reality."Reacting angrily to Mrs Clinton's speech, Ugandan presidential adviser John Nagenda told the BBC: "That fellow [Mr Cameron] said the same thing. Now this woman [Clinton] is interfering.
"If the Americans think they can tell us what to do, they can go to hell."
Uganda is a staunch ally of the US, receiving military assistance to fight a local rebel group - the Lord's Resistance Army - and has sent troops to Somalia to fight the al-Qaeda-linked al-Shabab group.
Mr Nagenda said Uganda would continue to co-operate with the US on security and other issues, but added: "If they are childish enough to take away aid, we'll see what we do [in response]."
6. ABOLISH DEATH PENALTY IN IRAN: 10,000,000 SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN
In the past 32 years, the Iranian fascist regime has executed tens of thousands of Iranians--mostly prisoners of conscience and members of minority religious groups. We believe that no one is entitled to take another person's life. This motivated us to start a 10,000,000-signature campaign to abolish death penalty in Iran.
7. Prosecution of Muammar Gaddafi for war crimes against Libya
For the sake of humanity, stop unarmed civilians being slaughtered.
8. Free Hadi Abedi Bakhoda, a very ill political prisoner!
Hadi Abedi Bakhoda is a political prisoner of the 1980s on charges of supporting the main Iranian opposition People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK). He was tortured and shot by the Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), when arrested.
His spinal cord was damaged in such a way that he now cannot walk and is in a wheelchair since the incident. The shooting also damaged other organs including his kidneys and his bladder that had failed totally. Since then, he suffers from debilitating physical complications as a result of his injuries. Abedi Bakhoda's wife and Mehri Javan Mahjub (a former prisoner) were arrested and sent to Lakan Prison. His brother, Hormoz, was executed by the Iranian regime on similar charges.
Branch One of the Revolutionary Court condemned Hadi Abedi-Bakhoda for two years imprisonment in 2009 (he then was transferred to the Lakan prison in Rasht in Nov 2009) even if he was not capable of imprisonment due because of his severe physical infirmities. The coroner's office, prison clinic and other health institutes confirmed this fact at the time and also demanded his release but the Intelligence Ministry and the Revolutionary Court have never paid attention to his conditions, therefore, he was transferred to prison.
Hadi Abedi-Bakhoda is sent to hospital only when his conditions become very critical, but ultimately because of his fragile health, they are forced to give him sick-leave.
According to Human Rights Activists in Iran, on Monday May 23, 2011, the Revolutionary Court of Rasht (Branch One) summoned Hadi Abedi-Bakhoda to notify him that the lash ruling against him would have been carried out despite his health conditions (his bladder was not functioning properly and he was suffering from a severe kidney disorder) and did not even consider the fact that he was in a wheelchair: he then received 51 lashes for the alleged crime of not reporting to the Lakan prison in Rasht on time when he was hospitalized during a sick-leave.
9. U.S. Citizens are willing to Pay To Detain and Deport
Citizens of the United States want action now regarding the deportation of all ILLEGAL ALIENS that are present in our country.
This petition is directed to all 50 state governors to establish a 1/4% sales-tax increase that the citizens of your respective state are willing to pay, with all derived funds to be used exclusively for the detention and deportation of any person that is known to be in this country illegally.
This tax increase MUST expire 2 years after its date of implementation.
You can sign the petition without your name appearing in the public signatures list. Your name can appear as "Anonymous".
10. Halt the hanging of Mohammad Reza Haddadi, convicted at age 15!
We are urgently calling on the Iranian authorities to halt the imminent execution of Mohammad Reza Haddadi, who could face death by hanging any of these following days for a murder he allegedly committed when he was 15 years old.
Mohammad Reza Haddadi was sentenced to death in 2004 for the murder of Mohammad Bagher. He confessed the killing initially but during the trial he retracted it and said he’d made it because his two co-accused would have given his family money if he had done so. Mohammad then denied having taken part in the murder, and there are reports of his co-defendants supporting his claims of innocence and withdrawing their testimony implicating him in murder.
Mohammad Reza Haddadi’s family was told by judicial officials (04-07-2010) that they should arrange a last visit to their son before his execution already organized for the day after at Adelabad prison in the city of Shiraz.
Despite this, his death sentence was confirmed by Iran's Supreme Court in July 2005. Since then, his execution has been scheduled several times.
This repeated threat of imminent execution hanging over Mohammad Reza Haddadi, is no less than a form of torture. The threat of execution must be lifted now, once and for all.
Mohammad Reza Haddadi must not be executed for a murder that he is alleged to have committed when only 15 years old.
The execution of juvenile offenders is prohibited under international law, including Article 6(5) of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR) and the Convention on the Rights of the Child, to which Iran is a state party.
11. Tonys' Amnesty for illegally held weapons
This is at my Brother Tony Skillen's request. He was left a gun in a friend's will. He applied for a license and was refused, because he is prescribed anti depressants. The gun was now illegal. At present the law regarding surrendering weapons is discretionary.
An Amnesty would allow people to surrender weapons, without fear of being arrested and given a 5 year prison sentence. It would make the Country a safer place and prevent these weapons from falling into the wrong hands.
12. We Stand With Arizona, and Against Illegal Immigration
Arizona is besieged by illegal immigration--more people and drugs cross illegally into the United States through Arizona than any other state. And Arizonans suffer the massive levels of crime that go with it. Drug and human smuggling, extortion, kidnapping and murders. And the Federal government has done NOTHING to stop it.
Arizonans have had enough. They decided to stop waiting for the Feds to do what the Constitution mandates--to protect its citizens from external threats. So they passed legislation to help stop the robberies, shootings, rapes, kidnapping, murders, and madness.
This isn't about racism, or xenophobia, or "apartheid" or any of the other hysterical slanders the left has come up. This is about the safety and well-being of the citizens of the state. And its support was overwhelming: 70% of Arizonans supported it. And support is Bi-Partisan, with 84% of Republicans and 51% of Democrats in favor.
But some have now come out and called for a boycott of Arizona. Incredibly, even one of its own U.S. Representatives--Rep. Raul Grijalva has joined this call for a boycott--of his own state!
13. نامه به دبیر کل اتحادیه بین المجالس
14. Moratorium against the use of tasers
-Moratorium against the use of tasers by the police and the transit security;
-the use of tasers by transit police is far outside guidelines that say they should be used only if someone is suicidal, violent or about to injure himself or someone else;
-Translink police are Canada's only armed transit police force;
-60 more people have died since Robert Dziekanski after being Tasered by police, including five Canadians;
-At least 286 people in North America have died since 2001 after being stunned by the TASER's 50,000 volt discharge
-There is no way of knowing whether individual Taser weapons meet the manufacturer's specifications;
-There are no Canadian safety testing standards of any kind for the devices;
-It is entirely possible that some weapons discharge much more electrical energy than they are supposed to, and that police officers are unwittingly killing people as a result;
-TASER and the law enforcement community often point to other factors that they say actually cause death;
-such as drug or alcohol use or a phenomenon they have coined "excited delirium", which is not a recognized medical condition;
-TASER International says so-called "excited delirium" is a potentially fatal condition.
-Here are some questions: How many people have died of "excited delirium" in the last five years in situations that did not involve law enforcement? Do people only reach potentially lethal levels of excitement or delirium when they are accosted by peace officers?
-Tasers are arguably being overused by police;
-They have reportedly been used to shock children as young as six (in Florida) and an 82 year old woman was recently shocked in Chicago;
-Amnesty International studied 271 fatalities and found that the victim was unarmed in all but 22 of the cases. Most of these victims were no risk to anyone.
More than 300,000 children are thought to be fighting in some 30 conflicts around the world. Most are between 15 and 18 years old, but many are as young as 10. Some are even younger.
Casualty rates are extremely high. Child soldiers are often subjected to sexual violence and extreme physical and emotional abuse intended to make them obedient and ruthless killers. This is in addition to the harm done by the denial of basic childhood needs for security, health and education.
In January 2000, the governments of the world agreed to ban the use of children in combat. This treaty, called the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the involvement of children in armed conflict, came into force on February 12, 2002. Canada was the first government to ratify.
The Optional Protocol requires governments to take all feasible measures to ensure that children under the age of 18 do not take part in hostilities. All compulsory recruitment - or conscription - of under-18-year-olds is banned, and governments are required to raise the age of voluntary recruitment to a minimum of 16. Unusually, the Optional Protocol also applies to armed groups, banning all military recruitment (voluntary or compulsory) and use of children under 18.
A number of governments have already signed the Protocol but not yet made a final legal commitment by ratifying. These include: Sudan, the Netherlands, Lebanon, Cuba and Indonesia.
16. Save Troy Davis
Georgia should give Troy Davis a new and fair trial. Davis was convicted of the 1989 murder of an off-duty police officer, but has always maintained his innocence. Many of the witnesses who testified against him at his trial have since recanted, and no physical evidence links him to the crime. Pope Benedict XVI, former President Jimmy Carter, and Nobel laureate Desmond Tutu are among those who have spoken out against executing Davis.
The Campaign to Save Troy Davis is calling for a global boycott against two multinational Georgia-based businesses, Coca-Cola and Delta Air Lines, Inc.
While the Campaign is not blaming these corporations, economic pressure should be placed on Georgia. Despite thousands of calls and letters from around the world, the Georgia political and judicial system has failed to respond.
This boycott will last until the state of Georgia grants Mr. Davis a new trial, or a full pardon, indefinitely if the execution is carried out.
The enormous amount of revenue that these two corporations bring to the State of Georgia comes with influence and we want this influence to save Troy Davis.
17. Call to promote free press and media development in Ethiopia
This millennium petition is inspired by the unity of Ethiopians following the massacre of 65 Ethiopians by the ONLF rebels and by our courage to face numerous other rebels who are ready to massacre Ethiopians instead of joining the peaceful opposition parties inside the current Ethiopian parliament.
This petition is motivated by a dwindling but surviving hope that international watch dogs are able to one day re-evaluate what role they are playing in the progress of democracy and freedom of press in Ethiopia.
18. Support the victims of Darfur conflict
For four years, women and children have been tortured in the Darfur region of Africa, in which tribal wars are taking place.
19. SAVE and SECURE AMERICA - Just Say NO to AMNESTY
Be it known that WE THE PEOPLE as Legal Voting Citizens of a Sovereign United States of America, Oppose in part, or in full, the 'agreement' which incorporates Amnesty for illegal immigrants, that is being rushed through Congress by our elected representatives, as a partial or full solution to the problem of criminal illegal immigration.
20. Stop Illegal Immigrant's Amnesty & Guest Worker's Program
July 12, 2006
A petition in OPPOSITION AGAINST ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT'S AMNESTY, GUEST WORKER'S PROGRAM AND FAVORING MAKING ENGLISH THE OFFICIAL LANGUAGE OF THE UNITED STATES
S. 2611 - 'A bill to provide for comprehensive immigration reform and for other purposes.'
S. 1919 - An Amnesty Bill Which Will Increase Immigration Into U.S.
S. 1918 - An Amnesty Bill For Illegal Aliens
S. 1438 - 'A bill to provide for immigration reform.'
S. 359 - 'A bill to provide for the adjustment of status of certain foreign agricultural workers, to amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to reform the H-2A worker program under that Act, to provide a stable, legal agricultural workforce, to extend basic legal protections and better working conditions to more workers, and for other purposes.'
21. Stop violence on Tamil Minorities
The ruthless killing of innocent Tamils by Lankan military and police should come to an end in Eelam. The Lankan military should face LTTE as their opponents not the Tamil race as a whole. Civilian killings should be ended soon.
It is ridiculous to call LTTE as terrorists. Does a terrorist group has uniformed militia anywhere? Does a terrorist group hold talks with amnesty and red cross? Does a terrorist group run administrative bodies and police station? Does a terrorist group fight against inhuman laws of a constitution? Does a terrorist group ban alcohol, smoking and drugs among its members?
An ignorant international community should stop heeding to undemocratically censored editions of Lankan media. If East Timor and Palestine are supported by the international community then why not Eelam?
22. Freedom for Dr. Oscar Elias Biscet
This is an international petition to urge the Castro government to free Dr. Oscar Elias Biscet who is unjustly held in a Cuban prison. Dr. Biscet is an Amnesty International Prisoner of conscience.
23. Release Dr. Biscet from Cuban jail
Dr. Oscar Elías Biscet González was born of humble origin in Havana, Cuba on July 20, 1961. Dr. Biscet is a political prisoner in Cuba where the dictatorship says it holds no political prisoners. Yet a multitude of respected human rights organizations like Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch have reported that Cuba does indeed have many political prisoners. Dr. Biscet is considered an Amnesty International prisoner of conscience.
Dr. Biscet is the founder and president of the Lawton Foundation, an organization considered illegal by Fidel Castro's government. The Lawton Foundation peacefully promotes the defense of all human rights through nonviolent civil disobedience. Dr. Biscet, a follower of Thoreau, Gandhi and Martin Luther King, has been mistreated physically and psychologically, has suffering beatings, threats, humiliations, blackmails, intimidating interrogations, and is now unjustly incarcerated by the Castro regime.
