1. Consider Individuality in determining the legality of consensual Sex 
The age of consent offers an abundance of protection to the world’s youth. However, certain aspects of what society means have been overlooked with this law; that is, individuality.
In order for the age of consent to be plausible in that applies to all persons, every individual would have to be of the same emotional, sexual, and intellectual maturity at the same age. Due to the prevalence of individuality in all of these facets, the age of consent can not be an equation of a certain age simply equalling said categories of maturity.
The remedy for this is to analyze each case regarding a violation of the age of consent and consider the individuals involved on a criterion of more than age. An under-aged person is not necessarily mature enough to consent to sexual activity with an adult, however, by the same token they are not necessary too immature to do so either.
People develop at various rates and it is therefore crucial to stop presumptuously entitling people who engage in sexual relationships with under-aged persons as predators or criminals. That is not to say these people do not exist, but rather to show that they do not exist in all cases.
Simply reaching the age of consent does not mean that a person is mature enough to consent to sexual activity, nor does not being the age of consent mean that one is not mature enough to consent to such activity. The purpose of this petition is not to lower the age of consent or abolish it by any means, but rather to change the law so it can permit the judicial system to look at the individuals in such cases as opposed to categorizing such relations as criminal because they fit one category. This category is age; it is the only factor of the individual being considered when such cases arise. All other facets of an individual are not allowed to be viewed in the law; maturity of the individual (be it sexual, emotional, or intellectual) is not of consideration despite its direct relevance.
It is for this reason that this petition is being proposed.
The law changes as society changes. Today, society is encouraging individuality as long as it does not harm another. Under the constitution, limiting one’s freedoms so they do not harm another is ‘reasonably justifiable’. However, it is not justifiable to simply assume that certain actions harm another based on age and age alone. The age of consent must not be a concrete determination of an individual’s maturity.
Therefore, this petition was created to reform the law into allowing people to analyze the individual and actually determine if such sexual engagements are in fact harmful.

3. Support the Year of Mental Health Awareness 2015
The Year of Mental Health Awareness will be a National initiative to raise awareness of mental health in our community, raise funds for mental health organisations in Australia and eradicate the negative stigma surrounding mental health and mental illness.
Mental health affects everyone! It is important mental health and mental illness is no longer a topic surrounded by a negative stigma and a taboo to speak about.
The year of mental health awareness will be the year to bring mental health out of the shadows and a topic of general discussion. We will raise awareness and funds for support services and research into various mental health facets, from learning difficulties, depression to dementia.

4. Decrease Voting Age Requirement
I am 14 years old and I am very interested in politics, more than most kids my age. I would love to get involved in the political process and many other teenagers, younger and older than myself, want to also, but there is something stopping us, the age requirement.
Teens can make wise decisions despite the stereotype that we magically become mature at the age of 18. Teens can make a big difference and our opinions aren't random. I would much like to see the voting age requirement decreased to the age of 17, this does not mean that we are legal adults.
Teens could be required to take a class when they reach this age of 17 in order to educate themselves on the voting process and how to determine who they want to vote for, not what pop culture is endorsing.
5. Lower the Driving age in Kansas
I am 18 years old, and am a current License holder.
However, I believe that kids at least 15 should be able to receive a license in the state of Kansas.
6. Age ratings should be reconsidered
In the past years the minimum smoking age has been raised from 16 to 18 which has pissed many people off. Now they have introduced a law that enforces an on the spot fine for under 18's in possession of cigarettes and an even an on the spot fine for anyone over 18 buying cigarettes for under agers.
A 16 year old is well aware of the risks and is old enough to make his own decisions. If a 16 year old is old enough to: Move out, get married and have kids in Scotland then why cant they go out for a drink or just have a fag now and then?
Now onto Video games and pornography. Why should there be an 18 rating? This is the marriage thing all over again. if a 16 year old can have sex why the hell is he/her not allowed to buy porn and/or games such as call of duty or grand theft auto? (these are generally rated at 18) It is a ridiculous fight for control over the people.
Once more for emphasis if a 16 year old gets married and has kids, what on earth is he/she supposed to do with their spare time? they are too old for playgrounds and everywhere else they can't get in because they either have to be 18, 21 or even 25.
This also has a small effect on crime.
For example:
16+boredom= Drugs, vandalism and more.
7. Review the retirement age within Girlguiding UK
As stated in the Guiding Manual, currently volunteers 65 and over may no longer regularly commit to meetings at unit level but may continue on an occasional basis as Helpers and Trefoil Members. Too many units need to close because no volunteer is able to take on this role.
Due to the changes in retirement laws, we feel that Girlguiding UK needs to review and adjust its policies to keep up with modern society, something which it has strived to do over the past 100 years and not be considered ageist. Ideas that have been suggested for the change include regular reviews for over 65 leaders or perhaps just a limit on being a unit leader to give younger guiders the new experiences and skills.
It is also currently felt that whilst great guiders are leaving at 65, less competent one are taking their place and currently there are no clear rules on action to be taken regarding this.
8. Lower Drinking Age In Oklahoma
In Oklahoma, the drinking age is 21. If this was lowered to 18, there would be many benefits, including less law enforcement money and time, less experimenting in minors. Lowering the drinking age in Oklahoma would make it to where there is less thrill of breaking the law.
If Oklahoma were to raise the drinking age law, the government could put breathalysers in all cars driven by people under the age of 21. The government could put 18-20 year olds on a probational period to see if this new law could actually work.
9. Driving Age in Ohio should remain at 16
The driving age should remain at 16 in Ohio because raising it would only make responsible and educated teens wait longer for the privilege and it is shown that inexperience, not age contributes for automobile accidents.

11. Kids the Age of 13-14 Should Be Alowed To Get Jobs!!
Okay, so here's how this whole thing started.
My friend and I were thinking, "It would be really great to have a job", so what we did was we thought that Bouncer Town would let us get a job. Well, we're 13 and we have to pray to be able to even think about getting a job.
Bouncer Town seems like it would hire kids our age. Or at least it seemed. It's a place based for the younger kids. In fact, you are only aloud to get on the "bounce inflatables" if your 10 or under. When we went to the counter we asked if we could get a job. It was actually kind of embarrassing and angering when we asked about a job.
We walked up to the lady at the counter (who by the way, looked like she wished she could be anywhere but there, how enthusiastic), and asked if they were hiring. She said yeah, of course, and asked if we were 16. We didn't really know what to do after that because it was our first time asking for a job so we just said no and left. Pathetic right?
And most places are the same way. I mean, it is a freakin place for kids! And half the people looked like they would rather work at McDonald's cleaning tables and puke and stuff. Yuck!
12. Drinking Age Lowered By Use of Permit
In the United States, the legal age of majority is eighteen. The day a young man or woman turns eighteen, they are given many responsibilities. They can vote for the country's next president. They can get a tattoo. They can do sentences in jail. They can also chose and even be forced to go to war.
There is only one thing that legal “adults” in the United States cannot do, however, and that is consume alcohol. Alcohol and its consumption are widely integrated into many social aspects of our country, where most social gatherings in the United States are not without the presence of alcohol.
The government labels eighteen year olds as responsible adults, yet tells them they are too irresponsible to be able to consume alcohol. There is however, a better alternative to denying persons under the age of 21 to drink. Educating the young population of the United States through alcohol awareness courses is a workable alternative to the high drinking age.
Teenagers are eligible to receive a learner’s permit to drive at the age of fifteen. In Florida, teenagers at age fifteen can drive at any time, however they must be accompanied with a licensed adult at all times. At age sixteen, teenagers can drive without adults, however their curfew for operating a motor vehicle is at eleven o’ clock. Seventeen year olds are allowed to drive for two hours later than sixteen year olds, and eighteen year old adults have no restrictions. These restrictions were put in place in attempts to teach teenagers to drive instead of throwing them on their faces in the roaring interstates and highways. This would be a great idea for drinkers as well.
Seventeen year olds would drink only with adults, eighteen year olds would have restrictions, nineteen year olds would have fewer restrictions than eighteen year olds while twenty year olds would have even less restriction than nineteen year olds. By the time young men and women are 21 years old, alcohol would not be as taboo, and binge drinking may not be as much of a problem overall.

14. Lowering the drinking age in the US back to 18
Drinking at 18 is the only thing that, as an adult, you cannot do until you are 21.
As you may or may not know, one of the only reasons the legal drinking age is 21 is because in 1992, the government said they'd cut highway funding by 10% if they didn't raise it to 21.
Well, there's many different ways to get the 10% if it was lowered back to 18, which would add many benefits.
15. lower age limit for clique movie auditions
I feel that it should be for ages 11 and up not 13 and up or even 12 and up because people who read and buy the clique books are around that age. The people who buy the books gave Mrs.Harrison the money to make her movie so I think ALL of them should have a right to audition. i request that at least kids younger then 13 have permission from their parents.

A higher driving age is needed because only older more civilized people should drive so there are less accidents on the road.

so why can you go off to war but not drink what you want??
you say drinking is dangerous? thats not a good enough arguement, so is war.
if the drinking age is lowered, young people wouldnt think its such a novelty to drink so they wont go out when they are 21 and binge. If you grow up around alcohol you know what your limit is, youll be more responsible about it, and your first time will probably be around your parents.
if anyone can do it, its not as "cool".
