Cutting expenditure would only make it worse unless it was in the right places, for example administration as oppose to medicines and nurses. Queen Mary's Hospital needs improvement in sanitation and funding - would it not be more sensible to redirect money and try to make better use of it? It might even make things a bit cheaper in the long term.

I particularly object to the cuts in BEXLEY, Kent. I work as a volunteer in the Aphasia Unit (Speech therapy) at Queen Marys Hospital, Sidcup which is now under threat, despite being manned almost entirely by volunteers. This is a vital service to re-habilitate Stroke survivors with speech impairment. People like myself give their time freely and happily but demand that an immediate review is carried out into the cuts.

I think it is very sad and disturbing that billions of pounds can be spent on a computer system for the NHS. Surely that money would have been better spent saving lives and not having to close down very busy perfectly good hospitals. Too much money is spent on administration and not enough on doctors and nurses and importantly efficient CLEANERS.
