i feel that dr crawleys teaching methods are sufficient to teach a class of 30 but not so much a lecture of 150+ students

Half of the material she taeches she rushes through and does not take time to explain what she is doing. Her quizzes and tests are unorganized and sometimes have information that we have not gone over throughly. she does not prepare us for her quizzes and tests.

This teacher is ridiculous! She told at the beginning of the fall term that half of all her students don't move on to CHEM 101. I guess she has proven her point. It look like 80% percent of the class won't be moving on because from the midterm grade average being around 68*.

I feel that if she would slow down and explain things we would understand. She tries to cram everything into 50 min of class. When we have a quiz she will only go into detail after we have taken it. It is like this every time.

I believe the test scores are so low because the tests are not based on the material we are taught in class. She will go over example problems and then go into MUCH further depth on the test. The book is also no help.

I think that Dr. Crawley have made it extremely hard to pass her course. I study constantly and still cannot acheive the grades in that class that I want.
