Background (Preamble):
The signing of NAFTA has helped exploit the Mexican indigenous people of Chiapas.
Now, accompanied with the re-writing of Article 27 of the Mexican constitution by the puppet to the Bush administration President Felipe Calderon, which has stopped the guarantee of lands to the poor farmers, the people of Chiapas have had to take up arms in an attempt to survive.
This petition is an attempt to raise of the Zapatista cause for lands in Chiapas, and also the other countries in which the US has intervened.

We, the undersigned, call upon the US government to finish with the failed treaty of NAFTA and to the people of the world to recognise the faults of it and the Mexican government in taking away lands.
The Zapatista's cause must receive support, as they must wage conflict in an attempt to live a dignified life.
