Since 1860's the citizens of Bendigo have been visiting the White Hills Botanic Gardens to enjoy the Animals that have seen generations of citizens learning of Animals from a small child.

The City of Greater Bendigo Council are proposing to "phase out' the animals as part of the proposed Master plan.

Five hundred children range from ages 3 to 8 were surveyed from City of Bendigo to seek what the children perceive to be A 'child friendly town' a proportion of children identified 'Animals,' natural bush setting to be the main places they would like to spend outdoor activity.

We, the undersigned, call on the City of Greater Bendigo Council to undertake redevelopments of the White Hills Botanic Gardens Animal enclosures as consideration in the Master plan.
