Management of the Warren Theatres has stated that they have no plans to show the film "Suffragette".
We think that enough Wichitans are interested in the film and would pay to see it if it was made available, even in limited locations or times.
The thought process to make no plans to show the film seems quite narrow, if not sexist and conforming to a ultra conservative view of what people should have the opportunity to see.
We entreat management to review their stance on acquiring this film and give the viewing public in Wichita the opportunity to see this historically important film.
We, the undersigned, call on the management of Warren Theatres to acquire the film "Suffragette" to be shown in any or all of its Wichita locations.
