ELDC have rejected Tesco's application for a new store on Lincoln Road.
We don't WANT a bigger Tesco, we NEED a bigger Tesco for the following reasons:
1. More local jobs;
2. More visitors to the town will support other local businesses. People from neighboring towns/villages who might go to Boston/Lincoln will shop in Horncastle.
3. It's better for the environment, think of the fuel saving when we can all do our shopping where we live;
4. Horncastle is a vibrant growing town. The residents deserve better choice than they currently get.
We, the undersigned, support Tesco's plans to build a larger supermarket on Lincoln Road, Horncastle.
