In my opinion, River Phoenix was one of the most gifted and truly talented young men of our time; of which I am sure that many others will agree.
His tragic death at such an early stage of his life will never be forgotten by all of his loyal fans, and of course his family. Although he made some foolish (and ultimately fatal) mistakes during his life, we must never forget all of the generous charity work he accomplished. He made ad campaigns promoting the welfare of animals, and even bought hundreds of acres of rain forest in Costa Rica and Brazil.
He was a caring and loving individual who was always keen on using his status to bring awareness to serious issues. I know he will always be remembered for his tragic death, but surely he deserves more than that.
By creating a wax figure of River Phoenix, I believe you would be honouring a great man, who should have his own rightful place at Madame Tussauds.
I am a massive fan of the late great River Phoenix, and have admired him since I was 14 years old. I am sure that there are many fans out there who look up to him like I do. This now brings me to my point.
It has come to my knowledge that there is no Wax figure of River Phoenix at Madame Tussauds, which has quite frankly surprised me.
He is classed as a legend in his own right, for which he has most definitely earned. Elvis Presley, among other successful actors and singers have had a wax figure created of them, so it would do River Phoenix justice, to have his place alongside some of the great talents that have ever lived.
Therefore I am inviting anyone who has admired Rivers work to sign this petition form to have a wax model created of him. Thank you all very much for your attention!
