PETITION PRAYING FOR DECLARING “JAIN RELIGION”, IN INDIA AS RELIGIOUS MINORITY AT PAR WITH FIVE OTHER RELIGIOUS MINORITY COMMUNITIES OF INDIA UNDER PART 2 (C) OF NATIONAL COMMISSION FOR MINORITIES ACT, 1992 AND AMEND THE ARTICLE 25. 2(B) OF THE CONSTITUTION OF INDIA FOR SEPARATE RELIGIOUS STATUS TO JAIN RELIGION.
We, the undersigned, request to the GOVT. OF INDIA to declare the religious minority status to Jains at par with five other religious minorities of India under part 2 (C) of National Commission for Minorities Act, 1992 and amend the article 25. 2(B) of Constitution of India for separate religious status to JAIN RELIGION.
