Background (Preamble):
An offer has been made by two area groups to buy the Wabash Valley Fairgrounds and give them land adjacent to the present area, along with an option to build a revitalized development.
The existing fairgrounds are deteriorating and parking can be very difficult, especially during heavy rains. New facilities will be better suited for senior citizens and handicapped individuals.

Petition:
We, the undersigned, request the Vigo County Fair Board to invite other interested parties to submit proposals for the land and open discussions to the community for their input.
