Please support Conscientious Exemption to Vaccination!!
According to package inserts from vaccine manufacturers, the side effects of vaccines include SIDS, encephalitis (autism), seizures, paralysis, arthritis, diabetes, asthma, multiple sclerosis, anaphylactic shock and more. At 2 months old my son received his vaccinations- 7 in one day...his reaction was that of high pitch screaming for over 6 hours that day, fever, and has never slept thru the night since. He also had his first ear infection 2 weeks later and has had ongoing fluid in both ears since then. My son- although he suffered, was one of the lucky ones- and his damage could have been much more severe! Some babies do not survive or live with permanent damage. I thank God every day that I did not lose him that day and I know in my heart that if I continue to vaccinate that he could very easily be one of the statistics.
According to the Physicians' Desk Reference (PDR) vaccinations contain mercury, aluminum, formaldehyde, aborted human fetuses, monkey kidney, bovine serums, ground up encephalitic mouse brains, latex, eggs, soy, yeast, neomycin and many other known carcinogens, highly toxic contaminated animal substances and allergens. And these toxins are injected into the bloodstreams of our babies at as young as 1 day old!! In addition the PDR states that no long term testing for efficacy or safety for any vaccination has ever been done.
In Dec. '07, NJ passed four new vaccination mandates including meningitis for 6th graders, another DPT booster, Prevnar (7 in 1) and a yearly flu shot for all over 6 months of age (including YOU). These regulations are effective Sept '08. By 6 months of age your child will receive 45 shots, by 19 months 64 and by 4-6 years old they will have received 74 shots!!! In 1983 the USA Autism rate was 1 in 10,000 and as of 2008 it is now 1 in 150 children! Since 1983 the number of vaccines the CDC recommends has increased by 260% (from 10 to 36), which shows a direct correlation with the increase in the autism rate!
We should NOT be vaccinating our children with the thought that one shot fits all- because it clearly does not! It is a shot in the dark....like we are playing russian roulette with the lives of our children!
Please help us pass Conscientious Exemption Legislation in NJ before the new mandates take effect in Sept. '08: Senate Bill S-1071 sponsored by Sen. Anthony Bucco (R-25) and Assembly Bill A-260 sponsored by Asw. Charlotte Vandervalk (R-39).
I respectfully ask that you become a primary co-sponsor of A-260/S-1071, the Conscientious Exemption to Mandatory Vaccination Bill. The State of NJ is responsible for protecting its citizens' rights and we choose to join 20 other states that have enacted similar conscientious exemption legislation.
Parents/Guardians should have the right to choose which vaccines are safe and appropriate for their own children. NJ's vaccination policy is in direct conflict with the 1964 Helsinki Declaration, supported worldwide, which states medical experimentation should only be carried out on those who have been informed of all risks and have willingly consented. Forcing children to be vaccinated by NJ law, without their parents being properly educated on the risks and side effects is unethical. There is a moral obligation when any pharmaceutical or medical intervention carries a risk of injury or death to allow the individual to make an informed consent- Vaccines should not be an exception! Until real and rigorous medical studies support especially the mandatory influenza and prevnar vaccines for infants as public health policy, it is medically, ethically and scientifically irresponsible to mandate such immunization.
Please support this Bill that will give Parents/ Guardians the rights that they deserve- the rights to a conscientious exemption- the right to make an informed decision for their children!
