Establish a VA Health Care Clinic in the city of Ridgecrest

The veterans of this area are required to travel over great distances for treatment at VA hospitals and clinics out of this area and some veterans are not able to transport themselves due to disability or health related issues.
In order to facilitate the necessary health care needs of the veterans of Eastern Kern County and surrounding areas the Veterans of Eastern Kern County, State of California, respectfully request that the Veterans Administration establish a VA health care clinic in the city of Ridgecrest, California.
We, the undersigned, call on the United States Department of Veteran's affairs to establish a VA Health Care Clinic in the city of Ridgecrest, California to serve the veterans living in Eastern Kern County and surrounding communities.
We believe it would be in the best interests of both the VA and the Veterans of our area to establish a CBOC in the city of Ridgecrest, California.
